Chapter 527: Chapter 302: Thank You for Your Trust (Congratulations, Alliance Hierarch Yang ysl)

(Congratulations to the newly promoted Alliance Hierarch “Yang ysl,” the first chapter is a special addition, with three chapters today.)

Mu Fan and Wang Nuonuo stood side by side in front of the silver heavy barrier door.

The deep gray floating car behind them drove away slowly.

“Why is it called ‘Nautilus’? Did you co up with the na yourself?” Mu Fan asked curiously, looking at the rather odd na.

“The na is derived from an ocean creature in the Southern Ocean of Purple Jade Star, the nautilus fish. This species is highly deceptive, appearing just like any ordinary fish, even possessing the concealed characteristics of so deep-sea soft-bodied organisms. In their first year, they have no ability to defend themselves, often becoming prey to other fish or natural predators.”

Wang Nuonuo’s voice echoed in the deep corridor, carrying an indescribable crispness.

Mu Fan listened quietly, noting the special aura Wang Nuonuo exhibited at such tis, which seed extraordinarily focused.

Wang Nuonuo didn’t notice the expression on Mu Fan’s face beside her as she continued:

“But in the spring of their second year, the nautilus fish evolve a pair of wings that allow them to fly short distances, and their mouths develop sharp spikes, making them hunters of the sea instead.”

“The naming of this warehouse implies that Loki Heavy Industry has gone through a year of lying low, only to welco its true glory in the following year.”

Wang Nuonuo spoke fluently as she strutted to the warehouse door with her long, straight legs, placing her palm on it.

“Sir, this is an underground structure, with a disguised building above it. Currently, no more than five people actually know about this underground warehouse.”

Mu Fan nodded, understanding that one should never underestimate the depth of a large conglorate’s resources.

“Mu Fan, attach your wristwatch for the intrusion, I believe the chubby girl won’t bla this great one, after all, it’s for your own good,” Black’s voice rang out.

Without too much hesitation, as Mu Fan’s wrist “accidentally” touched the wall of the building, Black completed a basic intrusion into the surveillance system of this hidden structure, although physical contact with the central Light Computer was still needed.

And now, Mu Fan was following Wang Nuonuo inside.

The first three-dinsional biotric scan swept a faint green light over Mu Fan.

“This is a Green Shield bio-recognition scanner.”

He then watched as a succession of tal barriers opened continuously.

“Generous, a 14-ton hydraulic heavy door, six-layer shuttle protection,” Black comnted with a click of the tongue in admiration.

Mu Fan followed Wang Nuonuo into a hexagonal glass corridor, where through the thick glass one could see rows of honeycomb-like devices.

“High-energy laser cutting nets; should the alarm ahead be triggered, they could instantly slice a human body into more than two hundred pieces.”

Black continued to comnt with gusto, clearly impressed by the level of security asures in the warehouse.

Wang Nuonuo walked ahead of Mu Fan, shuddering at the clacking sounds in the corridor, instinctively wanting to shrink back, but then she thought of Mu Fan behind her.

So she pursed her lips and secretly psyched herself up.

“Sir, this is the last corridor. You stop here, wait until I walk across and turn off the surveillance.”

She warned carefully, asking Mu Fan to halt his steps.

“This is a gait-sensing corridor. Your walking pace and posture are automatically compared with the system’s data. If they don’t match… see those autonomous weapons on the side? Those laser guns and machine guns would riddle you with holes in an instant.”

As Black spoke, Wang Nuonuo had reached the end of the corridor, and after another palm and iris recognition, a pale blue ripple flashed from under her feet.

“Okay, sir, we’ve finally made it inside. Isn’t it eerily scary? I really don’t want to co here,” complained Wang Nuonuo. She would at most visit the ordinary outposts on the surface, but if she wanted to co underground, she had to go through the three-dinsional roadway cube as soon as she left the urban area and then enter through a specific underground passageway.

The surface and the underground were separated by a hundred ters, existing in absolute isolation.

Mu Fan nodded empathetically and asked, “Nuonuo, who is the designer of this warehouse? Truly a genius.”

Hearing Mu Fan’s question, Wang Nuonuo covered her mouth and giggled, like a little fox that had gotten grapes.

“It was arranged by Grandpa!”

Mr. Wang Ji?

No wonder…

“Mu Fan, if you want to hack into the control system of this warehouse, you’ll still need to physically break into the central Light Computer.”

Black was encouraging Mu Fan to acquire warehouse authority, but Mu Fan did not imdiately agree and instead fell into silence.

After all, it was Nuonuo who had brought him here, and it felt wrong to do this.

The two of them had already entered a circular and empty Central Hall when Wang Nuonuo gently pressed a button on the wall beside them, and countless lights ca on.

The unique tallic sheen under the soft lighting took on a different kind of beauty.

What appeared before them was a huge tal cylinder, towering about thirty ters high, surrounded by nurous devices, and the screens were lighting up one by one.

At this mont, Wang Nuonuo suddenly turned her bright face toward him.

A pair of watery large eyes stared at Mu Fan, leaving him sowhat perplexed, causing him to look down at himself.

“What’s wrong, Nuonuo?”

“Nothing, just co with for a mont.”

Then, she unceremoniously dragged Mu Fan into a concealed passage nearby.

About seven or eight ters in, Mu Fan saw a small sealed room no more than ten square ters, filled with light screens.

“This is…”

“The control room. Co and enter your biotric information,”

Wang Nuonuo revealed a smile like a sly fox.

“Why do you need to enter my information?”

“Of course, it’s to give you the authority to this warehouse,”

the girl said matter-of-factly, an urging expression on her face.

This scene imdiately silenced Black in Mu Fan’s ears.

Two seconds later, Black spoke with a hint of emotion, “The little chubby girl is finding ways to give her wealth to you… You refused to hack in just now, and now she’s bringing it all to you on a silver platter.”

“Tsk tsk, what a good girl. I like her!”

And it was only after a long silence that Mu Fan spoke, “Nuonuo, thank you… for your trust.”

Seeing the sincerity in Mu Fan’s eyes, Nuonuo felt her heart flutter, and quickly lowered her head to explain in a fluster, “You need the authority to interact with the Extre Special Soldiers! And, and you’ve saved my life and Grandpa’s, so stop saying thank you!”

Her expression was innocent and adorable, and her rosy cheeks were visibly flushed from the quickening blood flow in her delicate skin.

Mu Fan stared at Wang Nuonuo, dazed, with a hint of trance in his eyes.

Finally, unable to withstand Mu Fan’s gaze any longer, Wang Nuonuo blushed, lowered her head, and took hold of Mu Fan to forcefully go through a series of verifications.

There must have been at least ten different types.

But did that an he should be given the highest authority?

Coming back to his senses… but still feeling like Wood, Mu Fan watched her lively figure, like a skylark, deeply moved by her crystal-clear and impeccable intentions.

“All right, the preparatory work is all done. Now it’s ti to formally transfer the Extre Special Soldiers to you, sir!”

When the two returned to the circular hall and stood beneath the giant tal column, Wang Nuonuo looked back at Mu Fan with a smile and then pressed the pale blue palm button on the Land Console.
