Chapter 776: Chapter 549: Quietly Waiting for Tomorrow and Beyond

Dingchuan Academy, so overbearing!

Bach, as the sole representative attending the eting, was only sowhat polite to the leading Major General Lick, but he didn’t even bother to look at anyone else.

At the most critical mont, he stood up and made a decisive statent, silencing all the military and political dignitaries in the room who were too intimidated to utter a word.

Mu Fan had finally witnessed the domineering grandeur of the senior instructors from his academy.

Rong Wei and the several military officers at her side clenched and then unclenched their fists, finally letting their hands fall limply.

They didn’t even dare to utter a word of obstruction.

They felt a deep, underlying terror toward Mu Fan’s recklessness, which seed to border on insanity.

However, they felt sheer dread toward the colossal figure behind Mu Fan and Bach…

The five A-tier academies at the pinnacle of the Federation have never been as weak and vulnerable as they might appear on the surface.

That indifferent young man who disregarded thousands of lives, that Dingchuan instructor who beca completely unreasonable when protecting his own, had truly taught them a lesson today.

After watching Mu Fan’s defiant figure disappear from the hall, the Lieutenant Colonel who had just been carried to the side door on a stretcher felt sharp pains stabbing through his chest and couldn’t hold back a mouthful of congealed blood, fainting away.

Hearing the commotion, Major General Lick, standing with his hands behind his back at the head of the room, flashed a look of disgust and disdain as he saw the miserable state of the Lieutenant Colonel from the Intelligence Departnt.

“Waste.”

As the highest military official, naturally, nobody within the military ranks dared to speak up.

However, several officials from Zhongjing City’s governnt showed displeasure after Mu Fan and Bach left.

They had never encountered such arrogance in their more than twenty years of political careers.

“Major General, we need an explanation! The governnt needs an explanation for the public!”

Upon hearing these officials speak up, alongside the chiming in of political figures, not a single person from the military or police forces made a sound.

“An explanation?”

Major General Lick’s expression suddenly turned furious as he looked nacingly at the big-bellied official.

“Do not talk to about explanations, not even your superiors have the right to access that kid’s records! You cowardly little mice, always hiding behind others, what right do you have to demand explanations from !?”

“The people have left, and now you speak up. Hah, I could have stopped them and given you five minutes to go ask for an explanation yourself. As of now, this is a matter for Dingchuan Academy and has nothing to do with the military!”

Several of the governnt officials hesitated at his words, but their feet remained stubbornly in place.

“You worthless weaklings, all talk and no guts, keep your mouths shut if you’re too scared to go!”

As a powerful Major General, Lick had no intention of even pretending to care about these people—he had plenty of pent-up frustration with nowhere to release it.

Then, a Captain rushed over to Major General Lick in an urgent pace, hesitated upon seeing the peculiar scene in the hall but still whispered:

“General, there are sixteen dia outlets waiting for approval outside, requesting the military to release detailed information about the killer’s death.”

“Release my ass, let them wait!”

The anger Major General Lick had been suppressing erupted, scaring the Captain so much that he didn’t dare breathe too loudly.

His ominous glare swept around the room, and when it landed on the governnt officials, a glint of malice flickered in his eyes.

Those on the other side instinctively sensed trouble.

“A few of our governnt spokespeople are here, and they already have a draft in mind regarding the outco of this event. We will arrange a press conference for them to attend later. To ensure the safety of our dignitaries, we will now dispatch two Special Combat Teams for proper protection.”

Proper protection…

He emphasized these words particularly heavily.

Hearing this, two teams of soldiers, ard and ready, imdiately ran to stand beside the officials.

As the soldiers, standing like imposing towers, encircled them, the several governnt officials cursed inwardly.

Absolutely shaless!

Thugs!

A bunch of military thugs!

Fifteen minutes later.

Four governnt spokespeople attended a press conference about the explosion. Their resounding words echoed across all public channels.

“With the combined forces of the military and police striking hard, the mastermind behind the massive explosion was successfully neutralized. The Federation will never tolerate such serious dangers to public safety. For every incident identified, action will be taken. We also thank philanthropists for their generous donations; the anonymous donor’s first contribution of twelve million in rescue funds has already arrived. Below are the photos of the deceased, who are identified as mbers of the vile Night Teeth Team…”

Beneath the video, countless citizens were riled up, their attention instantly shifting to the egregious Night Teeth Team.

Watching the governnt officials spouting nonsense on the Sky Communication screen, Bach sneered:

“Full of so-called morality, they could turn black into white, death into life. This is their stage.”

After saying that, he glanced at Mu Fan beside him, with a look that was both teasing and serious:

“Nice one, Mu Fan, provoking the Night Teeth Team ti and again. You’ve got guts. And what you did today, even gutsier. However, so of the statents you made, if picked up by the wrong people, could cause you trouble in the dia.”

“Don’t worry, though. Since Dingchuan Academy has announced its protection for you, as long as you don’t actively commit any heinous acts, here on Blue Capital Star, the Academy can smooth everything over for you!”

Bach spoke these words with an air of arrogance, the powerful confidence of a mber of Dingchuan Academy’s high-level Council. His first remark referred to Mu Fan’s comnts about annihilating the Night Teeth Team, which at the ti seed rather naive.

Yet, dressed in his tattered academy uniform, Mu Fan shook his head, “I ant what I said, Instructor.”

Looking up at the senior instructor he had only t twice, Mu Fan’s eyes were resolute as he enunciated every word: “I will indeed wipe out the Night Teeth Team!”

Bach was taken aback, then, seeing the determined light in Mu Fan’s eyes, he chuckled, gave Mu Fan a pat on the shoulder, and walked ahead.

“Go for it.”

He didn’t take it seriously—everyone has their youthful brashness.

However, perhaps for the first ti, Bach might have misjudged with his experience and insight.

Since the day Mu Fan had survived alone in the wilderness, a term had been distinctly branded into his personal ethos…

His word, his bond.

Mu Fan raised his head, watching the instructor’s retreating figure, then turned to gaze at the night sky tinged red by fire, a cold gleam flashing in his eyes.

Tomorrow, personnel from the Flying Dragon would co to retrieve him.

After completing the assessnt, he would settle these issues, one by one.

On an island 2,500 kiloters away, a bronzed muscular man was sitting up in a white, soft bed, holding a Sky Communication device playing live news from Blue Capital Star.

In the semi-translucent shower of the adjacent bedroom, the beautiful form of a woman showered.

Byron, with a lackadaisical gaze, swiped through the screen with one hand. Tonight was the ti for Testom’s operation.

Blood Teeth of the Night Teeth Team, like a beacon in the darkness, drew the gazes of many.

Every release, death to those who sought Blood Teeth!

How had their Night Teeth Team’s renown co to be?

“Scrap tal, how patient you’ve been. There’s been no news up till now. Could you have failed? Hahahaha.”

Amidst his laughter, an urgent breaking news alert appeared on the screen.

News highlighted in red?

“[Explosion in Zhongjing City’s E District results in over 7,000 deaths, perpetrator exposed].”

Wow, such a bold move—couldn’t be you, could it?

With a look of interest, Byron clicked on the news.
