Chapter 787: Chapter 560: If He Can Get Up, I Admit Defeat

It was as if a current of electricity shot down everyone’s spine, leaving the soldiers with tingling scalps as they watched the scene unfold.

The reinforcent sent by the 149th Division was damn impressive!

Is this still a human?

An existence that could physically disable Exoskeleton Armored Soldiers, was this so kind of joke?

Click, click, click!

Amidst the sound of safeties being released, more than half of the soldiers raised their guns and aid at Mu Fan.

It was an instinctual reaction, for Mu Fan’s display of martial prowess had far exceeded their expectations.

However, just then, two previously ignored robots also drew handguns and pointed them outward.

The atmosphere at the edge of the hills instantly turned tense and fraught.

Sergeant Bowen, lying on the ground, entered a state of dizziness, but a few seconds later when he managed to shake off the dizziness, what followed was excruciating pain.

Severe pain!

The severe pain spreading from his waist to his back instantly robbed him of any ability to fight.

Gazing at the gray sky above, Bowen let out an uncontrollable low roar from between his lips, mixed with pain and unwillingness.

Ignoring the angry and resentful eyes on the ground, Mu Fan stared coldly at the group of soldiers holding their guns.

“If one person isn’t enough, you all want to gang up?”

“Shut the fuck up!” another sergeant, angered and embarrassed, dropped his rifle.

“Sergeant Bowen hasn’t lost yet; his Exoskeleton Armor can still fight,” another soldier spoke up.

However, Mu Fan calmly said, “If he can stand up, I lose.”

Everyone felt a burning sensation on their faces, but their pride as veterans refused to let them concede easily; this young man was indeed very arrogant to say such a thing in front of them.

“Bowen, stand up!”

“Stand up, you’re known as the ‘Polar Bear,’ get up for us now!”

A flood of eager eyes turned towards the white sergeant lying on the ground as they desperately cheered him on.

Amidst the encouragent from his comrades, Bowen painfully roared and moved slightly, but ultimately he couldn’t stand up.

The severe impact had dislocated at least three of his bones, and the piercing pain caused beads of sweat the size of beans to continuously erge on his forehead.

“Bowen!”

The faces of the other soldiers grew increasingly troubled, for it seed their sergeant really couldn’t get up; under their gaze, nothing else happened other than the increasing sounds of painful groans.

“What now? Want to gang up? Or want to shoot?”

Mu Fan scanned the group and said indifferently, “I’m ready for either.”

All for compression biscuits!

At that mont, Mu Fan’s face was calm, displaying the deanor of a Grandmaster.

Hearing Mu Fan’s words, the soldiers with guns looked even more displeased, exchanging glances uncertain whether to band together.

Treating a new recruit like this, if word got out, it would be a laughingstock.

They had encountered a tough nut to crack.

Joe Pate, having been in the army for so many years, knew they had encountered that legendary one percent chance.

They had encountered the legendary new Soldier King.

What made his teeth ache was why such a fierce individual would be escorting a supply convoy?

Yet, deep down, he breathed a sigh of relief because the other party had already clearly stated he would be under the control of his own troops, aning this thorny new recruit would be his comrade-in-arms.

“Lower your guns!”

Finally, Joe spoke up. The second-level sergeant looked at Sergeant Bowen, who was lying on the ground, then turned to his subordinates with a stern expression.

“Didn’t I say to resolve matters yourselves? It’s normal to lose to a better man. What are you doing, embarrassing yourselves like this?”

Following a barrage of scolding, the soldiers holding the guns turned shades of green and white, but eventually put down their weapons obediently.

Seeing that his words had the expected effect, Joe then turned to Mu Fan and reached out his right hand, “Rookie, you are quite impressive. We all misjudged… Welco to the 27th Infantry Battalion.”

“And how’s our sergeant? Can he still fight?”

Observing the shift in the armored sergeant’s attitude, Mu Fan thought for a mont and then reached out his right hand too.

The two palms clasped together amicably, and Mu Fan said, “I didn’t hit hard. Sergeant Bowen just has dislocated joints in various places. Just pop them back in.”

Hearing this, a few soldiers nearby felt a jolt of pain in their teeth. Just what was this guy’s background? He could practically revolutionize Exoskeleton Armor by planting it into the ground.

And now he says he didn’t hit hard?

Are you joking with us?

Ignoring the various thoughts of the onlookers, Mu Fan, after finishing speaking, squatted down to look at the incapacitated Caucasian sergeant and with lightning-fast hands, began to readjust the dislocated joints.

After a few crisp sounds of bones snapping into place, a long groan of pain emanated, and the sergeant finally bounced up from the ground, watching Mu Fan warily.

“That’s enough, Bowen. We’re all on the sa side now, and seeing you hopping around, you seem fine.”

Joe glanced at the Caucasian sergeant and said, annoyed.

With a sheepish withdrawal of his defensive stance, Bowen looked at the harmless-looking Mu Fan, obviously palpitated, and decided it was best to keep a distance from this “rookie”.

What kind of new recruit was this?

No wonder the 149th Division dared to let him escort alone.

At this mont, everyone present began to reassess Mu Fan, suspecting that his individual combat strength must be why he was assigned the support mission alone.

Watching the odd expressions on their faces, Mu Fan remained indifferent. He didn’t care what they thought.

As long as they didn’t rob him of his backpack.

“Do you guys still want my backpack now?”

Mu Fan suddenly asked this.

Hearing this, a shiver went through the soldiers.

Fight a human-shaped cha over a backpack of compressed biscuits?

Only soone with a screw loose would do that.

Seeing his comrades looking scared, Sergeant Bowen suddenly felt like the beating he received was in vain.

Dammit, take your beating; now play nice.

“You two already discussed the outco, right? We’re on the sa side now, how could we possibly still want it? Alright, young n, let’s take our new comrade back to base.”

Knowing what his n were thinking, Joe loudly addressed the group.

“Let’s go, rookie, let’s take you to our base. The Fire Hills region is no paradise, prepare yourself ntally.”

“Bench, Hamr, you two give up your jet motorcycles and drive the supply vehicle.”

“Mu Fan, you sit on that jet motorcycle over there. The route into the mountains is quite complex.”

Finally, Mu Fan, with his marching bag, got on a jet motorcycle, and the two robots controlled by Black also put down their handguns.

Especially when the two robots holstered their guns, it made many laugh.

These two robots were really hilarious, actually pulling out guns to threaten them?

Thinking they were all vegetarians here, huh.

However, these soldiers had no idea that inside Mu Fan’s watch storage, Black grumbled, “You guys are lucky this ti, Master Black spared you. Otherwise, you’d really understand why the flowers bloom so brightly in February!”

“Keep your filthy hands to yourself, and don’t touch Master’s noble body.”

Upon entering the driving cab of the supply vehicle, a soldier codenad Bench curiously touched the black robot. Unexpectedly, the robot suddenly turned its head and spoke in a disdainful tone.
