"Pi Te! You’re finally here, save John, please save him!"
Ha Ruisi grabbed the hand of the old man who had just entered from outside the ward, speaking urgently.
"Pi Te! Save my child, save poor John!" Mai Lisha suddenly rushed to Pi Te, grasping his other hand, crying out as she called to him.
Tension and concern flashed in the eyes of Tom Sen and Ke Lisi, as they looked at Pi Te with a hint of hostility.
"Ha Ruisi, Mai Lisha, please don’t panic. Let go, and let see John!" Pi Te said, trying to reassure them.
"Okay, okay!" Ha Ruisi and the others nodded repeatedly and released Pi Te.
Pi Te walked to the bedside, glanced at John’s pale face, and then at the instrunts on the headboard. He frowned, picked up Pi Te’s dical history, lab test results, and treatnt records from the surgery.
As he read, Pi Te’s brow furrowed tighter and tighter, until at last, it all turned into a long sigh.

"Ha Ruisi, I’m sorry, John’s condition is now beyond treatnt. Satan is about to take him away!" Pi Te looked at Ha Ruisi with guilt: "I’m sorry, old classmate, I can’t help you anymore!"

"Who? Ha Ruisi, who are you talking about?" Pi Te was startled, grabbing Ha Ruisi quickly and urgently.
Ha Ruisi spoke through gritted teeth: "It’s a bastard ancient physician from the Fla Dragon Kingdom called Jiang Chen. It’s him who caused John to end up like this!"
"Are you talking about a young man in his twenties?" Pi Te’s brow furrowed as he spoke in a deep voice.

Mai Lisha, Ke Lisi, and Tom Sen all watched anxiously.

Tom Sen’s face turned pale, fear flashed in his eyes, and he quickly waved his hands, saying, "No, no, no, how could I wish for John’s death? He’s my cousin!"
"Dr. Pi Te, what are you talking about? John ca back, and Tom Sen has been tirelessly taking care of him. How could Tom Sen possibly wish for his death!" Ke Lisi’s face changed, and she shouted angrily.
"He has been the one taking care of John?"
Pi Te frowned deeply, looked intently at Tom Sen, and then turned to Ha Ruisi, "Ha Ruisi, if John dies, who is the most eligible to take over as the Family Head of the Will Family?"
Ha Ruisi paused for a mont before starting to answer without much thought, "Of course, it’s..."
Before he could finish, Ha Ruisi’s face turned drastically, and he whipped his head towards Tom Sen, his eyes icy cold: "Is it you? Are you trying to kill John?"
"No! Uncle, it’s not ! It’s not !" Tom Sen panicked, stepping back and desperately waving his hands.
Ke Lisi felt a shock in her heart and glared fiercely at Pi Te, speaking urgently, "Ha Ruisi, how can you suspect Tom Sen? Can’t you see how much he has taken care of John over the years?"
