Glancing at the fiercely burning sedan, Jiang Chen let out a long sigh of relief.
If it had been any later... it would have been too dangerous!

The sound of sirens started to wail as ambulances and police arrived. Without a second word given the situation at the scene, the injured were sent to the hospital, and everyone else was taken to the police station for further questioning.

At the entrance of the police station, the construction truck crowd was gathered around a burly man who seed to have been bailed out.
"Kid, it was you who stirred up trouble. You’re asking for it!" The construction truck driver roared and, clinching his fist, charged towards Jiang Chen.
"Shunzi, stop!" The burly man in the middle called out in a low voice, giving Jiang Chen a deep look. A scene from a surveillance video flashed through his mind, showing the Splendid Nightclub’s gambling den.
The burly man’s eyes narrowed slightly as he nodded at Jiang Chen, "Sorry, my brothers have offended you. Please excuse their behavior."
Jiang Chen was surprised for a mont, then casually nodded and pulled Ye Jingyi into the car.
"Xue Tu, why are you being so polite to him?" Shunzi looked at the burly man resentfully.
Xue Tu glared at Shunzi, then turned to a young man wearing gold-rimd glasses beside him, "Is it him?"
"Tu bro, yes, it’s him. He and that woman made a ss in our casino," the bespectacled young man confird with a cold voice.
Xue Tu looked in the direction of Jiang Chen’s departing car, a cold murderous intent flickering in his eyes, "Do so digging for . I want to see who else besides that old fart Zhang Long dares to smash my place in Jinhai!"
Shunzi and the others were startled, and they quickly echoed their agreent.

Just as Jiang Chen and his companion left the police station, Ye Jingyi let out a muffled groan.
"What’s wrong?" Jiang Chen asked with concern.
Ye Jingyi, clutching her arm and frowning, said, "It seems I bumped it when we made that sharp turn."
"Does it hurt? Let take a look." Jiang Chen, feeling distressed, stopped the car and carefully examined Ye Jingyi’s arm after rolling up her sleeve.
Ye Jingyi looked at Jiang Chen with an indescribable expression in her eyes.

After they arrived and got out of the car, Jiang Chen accompanied Ye Jingyi into the hospital, helped her register at the reception, and got the bruise on her arm treated.
"Step aside! Make way!"
As Jiang Chen and Ye Jingyi were just coming out of the consultation room, heading to the ergency departnt on the first floor, an ambulance arrived. Several doctors and nurses rushed out of it, carrying a young man and running into the building.
Jiang Chen glanced over and was slightly stunned. The man being carried was the youth he had saved from a car accident. He wasn’t sure why they had just transported him to the hospital and, more so, why they had brought him to this one.
"This is bad, the patient is in danger."
Jiang Chen took a careful look and exclaid inwardly.
The young man’s complexion was deathly pale, his breathing weak, his body covered in blood, and the bandages wrapped around him had started to bleed through. He was on the brink of death.
Jiang Chen furrowed his brow and was about to rush over.
"What are you doing!" Ye Jingyi grabbed Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen urgently said, "He’s about to die. If we don’t save him now, it’ll be too late."
Ye Jingyi, still frowning, didn’t let go, "Stop causing a scene. Can’t you keep your amateur dical skills to yourself and spare us the embarrassnt?"
Jiang Chen frowned, bit his lip, and took another look at the young man.
It’s no use! If he isn’t saved now, it’ll be too late!
Without a mont to lose, Jiang Chen shook off Ye Jingyi’s hand and rushed towards the stretcher.
"What are you doing?" The doctors and nurses were taken aback and moved forward to stop Jiang Chen.
"Get out of the way, or he’ll die!" Jiang Chen shouted, pushing past the doctors and nurses obstructing him. He took out Silver Needle and swiftly inserted several needles into the young man’s body.
The dical staff were dumbstruck as a mysterious person suddenly appeared to treat the patient. What was going on?
After inserting the needles, Jiang Chen glanced at the young man and let out a sigh of relief. He then casually picked up the dical record he had just used for Ye Jingyi, intending to write a prescription.
"Have you lost your mind?" Ye Jingyi panicked and rushed over, fearing there would be trouble. She grabbed Jiang Chen, wanting to leave imdiately.
Jiang Chen urgently explained, "No, wait, I just need to write a prescription."
Ye Jingyi glared at Jiang Chen, "Enough with your nonsense, co with now."
With no other option, Jiang Chen hurriedly scribbled down a phone number on the dical record and thrust it into the stunned doctor’s hands, "I an no harm; I just wanted to save the man. His wounds haven’t fully healed. He must take his dicine quickly to be saved for sure. Rember to call ."
"Let’s go!"
Ye Jingyi glanced at the entrance; security was about to arrive. She hurriedly pulled Jiang Chen, and they ran out of the hospital.
Once in the car, Ye Jingyi started to complain, "What exactly is wrong with you? Wasn’t the trouble from the car accident you caused enough? Although you were trying to save soone, is saving soone from a car accident the sa as curing an illness? Can you please stop ssing around with your so-called dical skills? What if you end up killing soone, can you take responsibility?"
Jiang Chen didn’t retort, he turned to look at the ergency room one last ti, believing nothing serious would happen in this hospital as long as they gave him a call.
Shaking his head, he decided to put the matter behind him and drove away from the hospital with Ye Jingyi.
