Jiang Chen frowned as he looked, taken aback for a mont before he recalled that this Oriental Passion Club was also owned by Sihai Investnt, and the woman before him was none other than Wu Nini, the club’s owner, whom he had seen at Sihai gatherings.
"Mr. Jiang?" Upon seeing Jiang Chen, Wu Nini first gasped in surprise, then glanced inside the room and imdiately her expression turned furious, "Mr. Jiang, you think you can just leave after beating up Manager Tu’s son in my place? You can’t go! You have to stay and give Manager Tu an explanation!"
"Explain your ass!" Jiang Chen, already beyond angered, supported Ye Jingyi with one hand and slapped Wu Nini across the face.
The crisp sound of the slap echoed as Wu Nini staggered from Jiang Chen’s blow, nearly falling to the ground.
"Wu Nini, let tell you, your place harbors filth and tolerates guests being humiliated here. What kind of lousy club is this? Better close down this dump quickly, or you’re dead!" Jiang Chen roared furiously.
Clutching her face with one hand and pointing at Jiang Chen with the other, Wu Nini cursed loudly, "You think you’re so great just because you’re the president of The Four Seas? You think everyone is afraid of you? But here in Jinhai, there are plenty who aren’t afraid of you, and there are many you can’t afford to offend! Moreover, I’ve investigated you, you’re just a kept man, rising to your position thanks to a woman. Without Gong Lin, you’re nothing. Now you’ve offended Manager Tu, it’s you who is screwed!"
"I’ll be waiting to see who dies first!" Jiang Chen sneered coldly, and kicked out fiercely.
"Bang—" Wu Nini was sent flying into the wall across.

Jiang Chen called Lin Wan and then turned to head towards the staircase.
Lin Wan was first startled by Jiang Chen’s violent actions, and then stunned by Wu Nini’s words. Upon hearing Jiang Chen’s remark, she shivered all over and hurriedly followed him.
Once outside the club, Jiang Chen found Ye Jingyi’s car, took the keys from her bag, placed Ye Jingyi in the back seat, and asked Lin Wan to hold her as he drove away from the club.
"Jiang Chen, that woman just now said you’re the president of The Four Seas? Also, who is Gong Lin?" In the car, Lin Wan, supporting Ye Jingyi, frowned and looked at Jiang Chen.
Without turning his head, Jiang Chen responded, "Gong Lin is the chairman of The Four Seas, the woman we t at the hospital last ti. I saved her mother, and you were there too. She made president as a way to repay ."
"Repay you? She just made you president because she owes you? Are you fooling around with won behind Jing Yi’s back?" Lin Wan said through clenched teeth.
Jiang Chen frowned, "I’m not, Gong Lin made head to her company just to repay her debt of gratitude!"
"I don’t believe it!"
Lin Wan stared straight into Jiang Chen’s eyes through the rearview mirror, trying to discern any hint of truth.
Impatiently, Jiang Chen retorted, "Believe it or not, that’s up to you! But don’t tell Jing Yi, I’m afraid she’ll misunderstand!"
Lin Wan glared fiercely at Jiang Chen, then turned to look at the unconscious Ye Jingyi, recalling how Jiang Chen had fought desperately for Ye Jingyi at the club, and couldn’t help but believe Jiang Chen’s words.
Grinding her teeth, Lin Wan spoke harshly, "I won’t tell Jing Yi about this, but you listen to , I’ll be watching you. If I find out you’ve been cheating on Jing Yi, I will skin you alive!"
"Suit yourself!" replied Jiang Chen nonchalantly.
The trio quickly made it to the hospital, where Jiang Chen and Lin Wan helped admit Ye Jingyi into a ward.
"I’ve called Jing Yi’s family; they’ll be here soon," Lin Wan said after making a call and then inford Jiang Chen.
"Hmm," Jiang Chen, deeply concerned, kept his gaze on Ye Jingyi and barely acknowledged with a grunt.
Lin Wan glanced at Jiang Chen, a complex look flashing in her eyes.
She truly couldn’t see through Jiang Chen now. He seed useless, yet he was actually the president of The Four Seas, and he had fought so desperately for Jing Yi. What kind of person was he really?
After a while, a series of urgent footsteps were heard, and the door to the ward was pushed open. Zhou Ru, Ye Jianxiong, and others walked in.
"What happened? How could Jing Yi have drunk so much?"
Zhou Ru was shocked to see Ye Jingyi’s condition and turned to look at Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen’s face was stern as he said, "Why? Isn’t it because the Ye Family usurped Jing Yi’s credit, and she felt upset and went to drink her sorrows away?"
"Usurped Jing Yi’s credit?" Zhou Ru was taken aback. "What happened?"
Jiang Chen explained the situation in detail once again.

Ye Yanni mocked, "He’s not just a troublemaker, he’s also a liar. Jing Yi, that idiot, must have been deceived by him."
Lin Wan frowned slightly, glancing at Jiang Chen, feeling sowhat indignant on his behalf.
Jiang Chen said coldly, "Fine, I’ll take the bla for this. Tomorrow I’ll help Jing Yi get her credit back."
Zhou Ru laughed out loud as soon as she heard this and said mockingly, "Ha, you’ll help Jing Yi get it back? Who do you think you are? As if Sihai Company would listen to you!"
Ye Yanni looked at Jiang Chen disdainfully, "Who do you think you are? You got the investnt from Sihai solely because of the secret recipe. Apart from living off your family’s legacy and mooching off others, what else can you do? Helping Jing Yi take back the credit? You’re just all talk, a complete waste when it cos to getting things done."
"All you do is brag; do you know how to do anything else? A useless man who just runs his mouth!" Ye Jianxiong glanced at Jiang Chen and said coldly, "Soone like you, thinking of getting Jing Yi’s credit back? Dream on!"
Lin Wan swept a glance over the Ye family mbers and then looked at Jiang Chen, muttering to herself: This guy really isn’t bluffing this ti; he is the president of The Four Seas, after all. Whether or not to give the Ye Family the contract is simply a matter of his word.
However, Lin Wan didn’t reveal the situation. She had promised Jiang Chen not to tell Ye Jingyi, and telling Zhou Ru and the others would be no different from telling Jing Yi.
"Just wait and see," Jiang Chen replied coldly without offering an explanation.
The several mbers of the Ye Family paid no more attention to Jiang Chen. When the doctor made his rounds and inquired about the situation, hearing that Ye Jingyi was not in any critical danger and just needed a few days to recover, they left Jiang Chen with the words, "You caused the trouble that led Jing Yi here, so you take care of her," and then they all left.
Lin Wan looked at Zhou Ru and the others as they left, unable to suppress her anger, "What kind of people are these! Jiang Chen, you’re too submissive, don’t you have anything to say for yourself?"
