Jiang Chen frowned, glanced at Li Bowen, and turned to walk around him and continue on his way.
"Stop right there! Who do you think you are? Too proud for your own good?" Li Bowen grabbed Jiang Chen’s arm and shoved him.

Jiang Chen, out of patience, slapped Li Bowen across the face and pointed at his nose, "I tried to offer you face and you refused, insisting on being slapped. Well, I’m happy to oblige!"

Li Bowen’s face changed, glowering angrily at Jiang Chen, about to speak.
But Jiang Chen continued to berate him, "Comparing yourself to ? What do you have to compare? In terms of talent, I’ve written so many songs for Yè Yùwǎn and they all beca hits. What about you? Li Bowen was dumbfounded, looking at the broken curbstone, his face turned pale and he swallowed hard. His gaze at Jiang Chen’s retreating figure was filled with fear and extre resentnt.
Xiao Yunna watched Jiang Chen’s departing figure, her eyes filled with little stars, and her determination grew stronger. Such a man is the only one who deserves to be my boyfriend; I must snatch him away!

Jiang Chen, Xiao Yunna, and Li Bowen, all notable figures in the school, attracted attention when Xiao Yunna latched onto Jiang Chen’s arm. So enthusiastic onlookers started recording with their phones, capturing the entire incident, and as soon as Jiang Chen left, they swiftly posted it online!
Dingjing University buzzed once again because of Jiang Chen. Students spread the news, and so even started guessing on the campus network whether Jiang Chen would end up with Yè Yùwǎn or Xiao Yunna, with so comnting that Jiang Chen might take them both.
Upon seeing the campus network video, Yè Yùwǎn rely smiled lightly, while Gong Yue felt very uncomfortable. She both hated Jiang Chen and had a complex mixture of feelings, and her dislike for Xiao Yunna intensified.
After Li Bowen ca to his senses, he was so full of rage that he couldn’t bring himself to confess his feelings to Xiao Yunna any longer. He left the girls’ dormitory building area seething with anger.
Back in his dorm, the more Li Bowen thought about it, the angrier he got. He had never been so humiliated before. Realizing he was no match for Jiang Chen, a cold smile curled on his lips, "Jiang Chen, you may be tough, but can you fight off dozens of people?"
With a sneer in his eyes, Li Bowen got up, left the dorm, and knocked on the door of a dormitory diagonally across.
"Co in!" A shout ca from inside the dormitory.

A young man was sitting in front of the computer playing a ga, with two girls standing next to him; one was massaging his shoulders and the other was peeling fruit for him.
"Young Master Ling!" Li Bowen approached the young man and called out respectfully.
Ling Tianlin, the son of Ling Jianghai, the overlord of Dingjing, who was as renowned as Lin Bingrui. As far as Li Bowen knew, there had been friction between the Ling Family and the Lin Family over territory!
Ling Tianlin glanced at Li Bowen and asked indifferently, "Li Bowen, what brings you here?"
"Young Master Ling, I’d like to ask for your help with sothing. Here’s five hundred thousand, please enjoy your purchase!" Li Bowen took out a bank card and placed it on Ling Tianlin’s computer desk.
After a glance at the bank card, Ling Tianlin turned his head to look at Li Bowen with interest and asked, "What kind of help do you need?"
"I’d like you to deal with Jiang Chen," said Li Bowen, with a flash of resentnt crossing his eyes.
"Jiang Chen? The newcor king, Jiang Chen?" Ling Tianlin raised an eyebrow and a cold glint appeared in his eyes.
Li Bowen nodded hurriedly, "Yes, him!"
"Fine, I’ll take care of him. That bastard dares to get so close to my goddess Ye Yuwan, he’s asking for it!" Ling Tianlin narrowed his eyes slightly, his face revealing a cold expression.
Li Bowen’s heart leaped with joy, and he quickly expressed his thanks, "Thank you, Young Master Ling. Once it’s done, I’ll treat you to dinner."
"Hmm." Ling Tianlin nodded and turned his head back to continue playing his ga.
Li Bowen bowed and then left Ling Tianlin’s dormitory, the corners of his mouth curling into a sinister smile, "Jiang Chen, I’d like to see how you die!"

Drizzle started to fall. After Jiang Chen finished his clinic session, he said goodbye to Su Qingqing, hailed a cab, and prepared to rush back to Gong Lin’s place. In the morning when he went to school, Jiang Chen felt his car was too conspicuous, so he did not drive it.
The ringtone of his cellphone went off; Jiang Chen took out his phone, raised his eyebrows slightly, and answered with confusion, "Hello, Lin Zhiyan."
"Jiang Chen, I think I’m being followed. My dad is in an important eting, and I don’t want to disturb him with my suspicions. Can you co over?" Lin Zhiyan’s voice ca through the phone, slightly anxious.
Being followed? Jiang Chen frowned slightly and nodded, "Sure, where are you?"
"I am in the car at the entrance of Linhai Mall," Lin Zhiyan said softly.
"I’ll be right there!" After agreeing, Jiang Chen hung up and gave the taxi driver the address.

In a red Lamborghini, Lin Zhiyan frowned, glancing occasionally at the rearview and side mirrors, her eyes filled with strands of nervousness and puzzlent.
It wasn’t long before a taxi pulled up beside the Lamborghini, and Jiang Chen got out of the car.
