"Haha..."

As Jiang Chen left with his fourth brother’s group, a loud laugh suddenly erupted at the bank’s entrance.

Li Fei, who had been secretly following Jiang Chen, couldn’t help but gloat at this scene, "He got what he deserved! Haha, aren’t you sothing, kid? But no matter how tough you are, are you tougher than Long Ya? You’ve crossed Long Ya, you’re a dead man!"

A bank clerk next to him, Zhao Lele, covered her mouth, her expression one of regret: "Tsk tsk, it’s him. I didn’t expect this."

Li Fei sensed there was more to Zhao Lele’s words, "What do you an, you know him?"

"Yes, he deposited two million in our bank yesterday and even opened a VIP card. I thought he was a wealthy man, but it turns out he’s just a con artist. I was even hoping..."

Zhao Lele watched Jiang Chen’s departing figure with a trace of regret in her eyes.

Ah, I was hoping sothing might happen between us. Such a waste of that handso face; why did he have to be a swindler?

"What?" Li Fei exclaid, "He deposited two million in our bank? What’s the account number? Hurry up and freeze his account!"

Zhao Lele frowned, "Manager Li, freezing an account needs the bank president’s approval."

Li Fei insisted confidently, "Did you not see the bank president is busy entertaining VIPs in the private room? What if that con runs away and spends the money? Wouldn’t we be abetting a criminal then? Freeze the account, hurry!"

Zhao Lele was still reluctant, as this was against bank regulations.

"What’s the matter, don’t you know the bank president is my brother-in-law?" Li Fei’s eyes widened, "Besides, didn’t you hear what they just said? That kid conned Long Ya’s money, Long Ya! Do you think he has any chance of living to co back?"

"If we freeze his account now, when Long Ya checks, he’ll see that we did our job. How can’t you understand such a simple thing?"

After so persuasive coaxing from Li Fei, Zhao Lele finally agreed.

Watching Zhao Lele operate the computer, Li Fei turned his head again to glance in the direction of the VIP room, his eyes revealing a sense of vengeful satisfaction.

...

At the entrance of the Julong Chamber of Comrce president’s office, Zhang Long, having been inford that Jiang Chen would soon arrive, was standing by the elevator ready to greet him.

"Ding—" The elevator arrived.

The elevator doors opened, revealing Jiang Chen and his fourth brother inside.

Zhang Long was about to greet them with a smile.

"What’s the dawdling for, get out!"

With a low shout, the fourth brother shoved Jiang Chen hard, pushing him out of the elevator.

Zhang Long was taken aback, his facial expression darkening imdiately.

"Long Ya, this is Jiang Chen. This kid beat up our people and stole our money. We can’t let him off. Should we let the brothers rough him up before bringing him to you?"

The fourth brother approached Zhang Long, pointing at Jiang Chen and speaking angrily.

Jiang Chen looked at the fourth brother with amusent, then turned to examine Zhang Long with interest.

Zhang Long’s facial muscles twitched, and he suddenly shouted, "Kneel down!"

The fourth brother didn’t notice the direction of Zhang Long’s shout and glared at Jiang Chen, barking, "Did you hear? Kneel down!"

Long Ya’s gums looked like they were about to burst as his eyes, fiery and wide, glared at the fourth brother, "You... kneel down and apologize."

But the fourth brother kept glaring at Jiang Chen, oblivious to Zhang Long’s anger, and shouted at Jiang Chen again, "Are you still daring to stand? Kneel down and apologize right now!"

"Smack—" Unable to contain his fury, Zhang Long delivered a heavy slap to the back of the fourth brother’s head, causing him to stumble forward, nearly falling to the ground.

"I fucking told you to kneel down!"

Zhang Long roared in anger, kicking the back of the fourth brother’s knee. His body buckled, and he ended up kneeling in front of Jiang Chen.

"This... Long Ya, I..."

The fourth brother looked up at Zhang Long with a bewildered face, not quite grasping the situation.

Zhang Long kicked the fourth brother over again and then bowed deeply to Jiang Chen, his face full of apologies, "Mr. Jiang, I’m so sorry. It’s my fault for not managing my people properly. I hope Mr. Jiang can forgive us."

Fourth Brother was stunned.

Mr. Jiang? What the hell? How did this kid...

Seeing Jiang Chen not speaking, Zhang Long bent down, grabbed Fourth Brother’s hair, and dragged him in front of Jiang Chen, "Apologize to Mr. Jiang imdiately!"

Jiang Chen raised his hand to stop him, "Forget it, I can’t enjoy such a ’treat.’ Let’s go, to your office."

With that, he took steps toward the inside, Zhang Long hurriedly leading the way, leaving behind the painfully confused Fourth Brother.

"Hm?" Upon entering the office, Jiang Chen frowned as he sensed sothing unusual and started circling around Zhang Long’s desk.

Zhang Long sent the others out of the office, standing alone at the door watching Jiang Chen.

"This is..." Jiang Chen stopped in his tracks, coming to a stop in front of a Blood Rhino Horn on the desk, observing carefully.

The Blood Rhino Horn was a bright blood red, a beautiful, vibrant color. Yet, as he drew near, Jiang Chen felt a violent tremor in his blood and qi.

"Zhang Long, co over!"

Jiang Chen called out to Zhang Long, who took steps toward him.

Without saying much, Jiang Chen had Zhang Long stand beside the Blood Rhino Horn, then felt his pulse. Then he pulled Zhang Long to the doorway and checked his pulse again.

Jiang Chen returned to the office, picked up the Blood Rhino Horn, and waved it towards Zhang Long, "It’s the problem!"

Zhang Long’s expression changed, and he cast a dark look at the Blood Rhino Horn in Jiang Chen’s hand, "Mr. Jiang, do you an..."

Jiang Chen nodded, "The external cause triggering your illness is it."

Zhang Long’s eyes flickered, not sure what he was thinking.

"Co, sit down."

Setting down the Blood Rhino Horn, Jiang Chen pointed to a sofa nearby and walked over.

Zhang Long also hurriedly followed, casting a gloomy glance at the Blood Rhino Horn as he walked.

"Take off your shirt." After getting Zhang Long to remove his shirt and settle down, Jiang Chen began to administer acupuncture.

Although the illness was complex, it was not difficult to treat for Jiang Chen.

After one set of acupuncture was perford, Jiang Chen also prescribed so dicine for Zhang Long, instructing, "You need to grab the dicine according to the prescription I’ve written; I have instructions for how to brew and how to drink it as well. Your injury..."

"Ding-a-ling-a-ling—" Suddenly, a cellphone ringtone went off, interrupting Jiang Chen.

Pulling out the phone, Jiang Chen hurriedly answered the call, "Hello, Jing Yi."

"Jiang Chen, are you done with your work there?"

"All done, all done,"

Jiang Chen repeatedly nodded, Zhang Long watching him, slightly surprised.

"I’m almost finished here. When you’re done, will you co back? I want to talk to you about sothing."

"I’ll—I’ll be right back!"

Jiang Chen nodded while getting up and heading out.

"Mr. Jiang." Zhang Long was sowhat baffled and quickly called out to Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen turned, puzzled, looking at Zhang Long, "What is it?"

"My illness..."

Zhang Long pointed at the red line on his chest.

"Oh, that red line will slowly fade away after ten minutes, and you’ll feel a significant improvent in your condition. After finishing the three prescriptions I gave you, you’ll be all set. I need to rush back to the bank now, so I’m off."

Jiang Chen briefly explained, then turned and walked towards the office door.

But halfway there, Jiang Chen turned back, seizing the Blood Rhino Horn on the desk.
