Swish, swish, swish!
Rapid movents of both hands weaved through the air, strands of crimson thread materializing out of thin air. A closer look revealed those threads were actually fine Silver Needles dancing in the air with the flow of vital energy, trailing long tails behind them.
A solemn expression surfaced on Jiang Chen’s face as he glanced at Ye Jingyi lying on the bed and whispered resolutely, "Jing Yi, I will definitely wake you up!"

The Silver Needles fell swiftly through the air. Jiang Chen’s hands flickered, rapidly adjusting the needles’ positions. By the ti the needles pierced into Ye Jingyi’s head, there were the straight ones, the slanted ones, the spinning ones, the vibrating ones, and the ones undulating back and forth in all sorts of movents.

Maintaining a blur of hand speed like an illusion, a full half hour passed. Jiang Chen’s face turned sowhat pale, his forehead was covered in sweat, and his clothes were soaked through with perspiration.
"Ha!" Suddenly, Jiang Chen let out a loud shout, and his hands ca to a fierce halt. At this mont, he had pulled out all the Silver Needles.
With the needles put away, Jiang Chen looked at Ye Jingyi nervously and called out softly, "Jing Yi? Jing Yi?"
"Mmm!" A sound like a murmur from a dream echoed, and Jiang Chen’s expression lit up with joy. He reached out and gently stroked Ye Jingyi’s head, tenderly coaxing her, "Jing Yi, wake up, please wake up."
Ye Jingyi’s eyebrows gently furrowed, her eyes slowly opened, then abruptly closed again. After a while, they opened again slowly.
"Haha, she’s awake! She’s awake! I’ve succeeded, the Asking Heaven Needle Technique was successful!"

"I wouldn’t bear to see that!" Ye Jingyi said reproachfully, giving Jiang Chen a stern look.
Jiang Chen wanted to say more, but Ye Jingyi had already leaned softly into his embrace.

"Call them over," said Ye Jingyi calmly, looking at Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen opened his mouth, but noticing the determination in Ye Jingyi’s eyes, he closed it again with resignation.

"It’s not your fault, it’s mine. Let’s go in!" Jiang Chen reached out to stroke Gong Lin’s hair, turned around, opened the door, and walked in.
Gong Lin and Ye Yuwan followed behind, with Fu Ling’er wanting to enter as well but being stopped by Ye Yuwan at the door.
"Jiang Chen, you go out." As the two won entered, Ye Jingyi smiled at them and then turned to Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen paused slightly, just as he was about to speak, Ye Jingyi said again, "Go out."
"You go out first," Gong Lin tugged at Jiang Chen, and with a mont’s hesitation, he turned and left the room.
"Brother Jiang Chen, why did you co out? Aren’t you afraid they’ll start fighting?" Fu Ling’er was surprised to see Jiang Chen co out.
Jiang Chen chuckled, "No, they won’t start fighting."

After a while, just as Jiang Chen was about to rush in, the door finally opened, and Gong Lin ca out.

After a long while, he finally let out a long sigh of relief. Stepping forward, he walked into the room.
