"Shen Xiangtian, I’ll let you be the lead horse this ti. The Heavenly Level Peak master is yours; he’s already severely injured. Adding Feng Lang and Xie Long to help you, you three take him down," Jiang Chen continued to assign tasks.
"Yes!" Shen Xiangtian and the others responded loudly.
Jiang Chen spoke again, "Chen Jiantao, Wealth God, Cannon, Spirit You, Kuang Long, Du Feng, the Earth Grade Peak master is for you to handle!"
"Yes!" A fierce fighting spirit shone in the eyes of Chen Jiantao and the others.
Jiang Chen smiled slightly, he hadn’t expected the elders, like Chen, to cooperate so well. The people left were perfect for giving Long Ya’s ten elite mbers a good sparring session. Severely injured and higher-ranked opponents who were bound to fight to the death were just the right challenge. A victory over them would surely lead to profound insights.
Long Jianfei glanced at Shen Xiangtian and the others, understanding that these ten were likely the elite of the elite that Jiang Chen intended to cultivate!
The elders in the valley, such as Elder Chen, coldly observed Jiang Chen’s assignnts, focusing on their recovery. They knew they were dood. If Jiang Chen willed it, two Innate Grandmasters could strike, and they wouldn’t even have a chance to flee. Yet, at this mont, Jiang Chen wanted to use them for training, and they too wished to gain enough before they died!
"Go ahead!" Jiang Chen glanced at the valley and spoke indifferently.

"Co on, you old fart from Blood Blade Sect, you were chasing after this old man just now, now it’s my turn to chase you!" dicine Saint dashed into the valley, tightly locking on to Elder Chen.
Long Jianfei looked at Shen Xiangtian and the others who had been blocked by Jiang Chen’s gesture, gave a slight smile, and charged into the valley, attacking the two Semi Innate masters.
Next, Shen Xiangtian and the other two tied up the Heavenly Peak Grandmaster, and finally, Chen Jiantao and his group besieged Li Wucheng.
This sequence was also deliberately arranged by Jiang Chen. If dicine Saint didn’t take action first but instead Shen Xiangtian and his group, they would only end up killed by Elder Chen’s surprise attacks. If Jiang Chen didn’t stay by Shen Xiangtian’s side the whole ti, he wouldn’t be able to rescue them in ti.
Hence, even though Elder Chen and the two Semi Innate had already been engaged, Jiang Chen followed Shen Xiangtian and his group into the valley, standing in the center to direct the battle.
"Old Shen, listen up, don’t think I’ll help you just because I ca in. I’ll only ensure that the Innate Grandmaster and the Semi Innate won’t interfere with you. The rest is on you. And don’t forget, there’s a high death rate in this training that I haven’t tapped into yet!" Jiang Chen reminded them.
As he fought, Shen Xiangtian shouted back, "Head instructor, don’t worry. If we can’t handle these few injured guys, how are we going to take on that bunch from Flying Eagle!"
"Squadron Leader Shen, Flying Eagle is not the sa as them. We’re not enemies!" retorted Long Jianfei, frustrated.
In front of him, the commander of the Flying Eagle Special Combat Squadron, these n were openly clamoring to take them down, showing a blatant disregard for him!
"We are enemies. Until the great contest, we are deadly rivals. Comrades in arms, wait until after the contest!" Shen Xiangtian bellowed.
Long Jianfei gave a bitter smile and did not reply. He knew that the n from Long Ya had been deeply agitated by the news of their disbandnt. Continuing the conversation might provoke their shared anger, and if they decided to attack him, it could turn into a big joke, even though he was not afraid.
Moreover, Long Jianfei glanced at Jiang Chen. If Shen Xiangtian and his group were roused by him to gang up on him, it could be humiliating for Long Jianfei.
Noticing the gaze of Long Jianfei, Jiang Chen offered a slight smile, "Captain Long, I advise you to focus a bit more. These two fellows are quite strong, and as for you, it is apparent that you haven’t engaged in a life-or-death battle in a long ti. You’re considered a high-level martial artist; you should understand the importance of actual combat. If you continue to slack like this, sooner or later, you will destroy yourself!"
Furrowing his brows, Long Jianfei felt that there was more to Jiang Chen’s words, especially when he emphasized ’these two fellows are quite strong.’ He couldn’t help but observe his opponents’ attacks more closely.
Show the enemy weakness!
Suddenly, a chill ran down Long Jianfei’s spine as he realized that the two opponents seed to be feigning weakness and had not truly reached the point of desperation. A cold sweat broke out, and he inwardly exclaid that he indeed hadn’t engaged in real combat for a long ti, failing to notice the opponents’ tricks. If the battle continued like this, the enemy’s sudden burst could possibly deal him a severe blow, or even place him in mortal danger.
With a touch of solemnity in his eyes, Long Jianfei dared not take things lightly any longer and shouted loudly, "General Instructor Jiang, thank you!"
"You’re welco!"
Seeing Long Jianfei’s realization, Jiang Chen stopped worrying about him and turned his head to look at the battles involving Shen Xiangtian and Chen Jiantao. He didn’t need to concern himself with the dicine Saint and Long Jianfei; given the opponents’ injuries, as long as the two of them were cautious, taking down their adversaries shouldn’t be a problem.
The situation was different for Shen Xiangtian and the others, however. They had always engaged in military operations and rarely in martial artist battles, so they were not familiar with so martial artists’ fighting techniques.
Although Jiang Chen said he wouldn’t interfere, how could he truly stand by? They were the future hope of Long Ya!
Watching the battle in the valley, Commander Zhang at the entrance felt a trace of relief, especially observing Shen Xiangtian and his comrades’ combat. Turning to look at Jiang Chen’s figure, Commander Zhang silently mouthed two words:

The battle in the valley ended, and Jiang Chen looked at Shen Xiangtian and the others supporting each other with satisfaction as he walked out of the entrance.
As Jiang Chen had anticipated, the fight involving the dicine Saint and Long Jianfei went without any surprises. The battle for Shen Xiangtian and his comrades, on the other hand, faced a crisis. However, to Jiang Chen’s delight, Shen Xiangtian and the others hadn’t relied on his intervention but had worked together seamlessly with mutual understanding to kill their adversaries, albeit at the cost of all being injured.
Being injured was not to be feared, with Jiang Chen around, even severe wounds posed no problem. What was gratifying was that during the fight, Shen Xiangtian and his comrades didn’t so much as glance at Jiang Chen, completely without any expectation of his help. That was the most reassuring part.
Jiang Chen’s biggest fear was creating a dependency on him, and now, seeing the performance of Shen Xiangtian and the others, he felt at ease.
"General Instructor Jiang." Just as he walked out of the entrance, Long Jianfei called out to Jiang Chen, sincerely saying, "Thank you!"
Jiang Chen offered a small smile, "No need to ntion it. We’re all comrades-in-arms, as long as you think I’m worthy, Captain Long."
"Of course!" Long Jianfei quickly agreed, and then, scratching his head sowhat sheepishly, he said, "General Instructor Jiang, could I trouble you with sothing?"
"Speak!" Jiang Chen guessed what Long Jianfei wanted his help with and asked with a smile.
