"The only way to do it is to pay out all the money on the betting pool at one-to-one odds, whether they bet on Snake Woman winning or losing!" Huo Huade forced down the fear in his heart and spoke as if he were indifferent.

"How much money is in the betting pool now?" Jiang Chen asked again.

Huo Huade took a mont to compose himself and waved over to a staff mber.

The staff mber hurried over, bowed respectfully to Huo Huade, and said, "Mr. Huo Huade."

"How much is on Snake Woman’s betting pool right now?" Huo Huade did not avoid Jiang Chen and directly asked.

"A total of 580 million International Currency," the staff mber replied in a low voice.

At these words, Scar couldn’t help but exclaim, "How co it’s so much?"

The staff mber glanced at Scar but said nothing.

"Mr. Dragon King, because Snake Woman is a Great Knight in strength, so..." Huo Huade started explaining to Jiang Chen.

"No need to explain, 580 million, plus a ransom of 2 billion, I’ll pay it, cancel the fight right now," Jiang Chen said urgently as Mage Liesi was about to walk into the cage.

Huo Huade was startled by the comnt, but then gritted his teeth and stood up to shout, "Stop the fight!"

The crowd in the Beast Fighting Arena paused for a mont, looking in the direction of Huo Huade.

Scar’s eyes flashed with a complex look, but it was not one of shock; instead, he looked at Jiang Chen with deep significance.

The Young Master... really paid such a sum!

For a friend going to such lengths, it’s worth entrusting my secret to him.

Upon hearing this, the staff mber at the door of the cage sidestepped and stood in front of Mage Liesi.

Mage Liesi and Snake Woman in the cage both looked up in the direction of Huo Huade.

When Snake Woman saw ngte De’er, a look of surprise flashed in her eyes.

"Mr. Dragon King, according to the rules, the fight can’t be stopped once Snake Woman sets foot in the cage, but I really want to owe you a favor, so I did this!" Huo Huade looked at Jiang Chen and said solemnly.

Jiang Chen had just relaxed when he heard this and turned his head to look at Scar, taken aback.

Scar nodded slightly, confirming it.

"Alright! Mr. Huo Huade, I owe you a favor. As long as it’s nothing against moral principles and conscience, I will lend my aid to you once for free!" Jiang Chen turned around and gratefully looked at Huo Huade.

In his words, Jiang Chen only ntioned himself and did not ntion the Dragon Fla rcenary Group.

Such wordplay was clear to Huo Huade, but what he valued was Jiang Chen as a person—soone who, for his friend’s granddaughter, would spend so much money, especially since he had just had murderous intent towards him, which intrigued him.

Huo Huade nodded, then turned to scan the audience in the Beast Fighting Arena and announced, "Ladies and gentlen, Snake Woman has been ransod. Your bets will be refunded at a one-to-one ratio. We ask for your understanding."

The crowd was taken aback, glanced at Jiang Chen, and said nothing. Firstly, they hadn’t lost any money, and more importantly, the Beast Fighting Arena had a rule for ransoming. Although Snake Woman had entered the cage and the fight should not have been stopped according to the rules, no one would offend Huo Huade over this—it would be tantamount to offending the Dark Night Angel rcenary Group!

"Why stop the fight? Snake Woman has already entered the cage!" While others did not pursue it further, there were so who did want to. Outside the cage, Mage Liesi shouted out loudly.

Huo Huade turned to look at Mage Liesi, and shouted sternly: "If you’re not satisfied, you can have your brother, Mage Liesi, co talk to . You... are not qualified!"

"You..."

Mage Liesi’s face turned purple with rage, but he didn’t dare cause trouble here, let alone really go fetch his father to confront Huo Huade. Others might not know Huo Huade’s identity, but as the son of one of the top ten rcenary Corps leaders, he was well aware of it, and he knew he was no match!

After giving Jiang Chen a vicious stare, Mage Liesi noticed Xuan Long beside him, his pupils contracted, and a flash of understanding crossed his eyes.

Making a throat-slitting gesture at Jiang Chen, Mage Liesi returned to the stands, fuming with anger.

The staff released Snake Woman from the cage, and an elderly man stepped forward to lead her over to Jiang Chen and the others.

"Snake Woman!" ngte De’er looked at Snake Woman excitedly, joy shining in his eyes.

"Big Silly!" Snake Woman looked affectionately at ngte De’er, then turned and bowed to Jiang Chen, "Thank you, sir."

Jiang Chen shook his head slightly and glanced at the old man who had brought over Snake Woman — another Paladin Knight!

"What’s your na? I an your Fla Dragon Kingdom na!" Jiang Chen stared straight into Snake Woman’s eyes, his voice filled with anticipation.

Snake Woman was taken aback for a mont, her brow furrowing slightly as she turned to look at ngte De’er.

ngte De’er said anxiously, "Snake Woman, this gentleman seems to be a friend of your grandfather."

"My grandfather’s friend?" Snake Woman gasped, turned to look at Jiang Chen, and said incredulously, "You’re my grandfather’s friend?"

"Yes, I’m a friend of Elder Yao. Is your nickna Fei’er..." Jiang Chen looked at Snake Woman expectantly.

Snake Woman replied joyfully, "My na is Xing Fei; Grandfather calls Fei’er."

"Yes, it’s you!" Jiang Chen was overjoyed and imdiately transferred the money to Huo Huade via his phone.

Extending the bank card, Jiang Chen said gratefully, "Thank you, Mr. Huo Huade, I’ve made a friend in you; my na is Jiang Chen!"

"Haha, it wasn’t easy." Huo Huade laughed heartily and then whispered, "My na is Mu Erhaben Huo Huade!"

Jiang Chen was slightly startled and nodded with a smile, "Mr. Huo Huade, we won’t disturb you further; they still need to treat their wounds, so we’ll be leaving now!"

"Alright!" Huo Huade nodded and chuckled in response.

Jiang Chen and his group, along with Xing Fei and ngte De’er, headed out of the Beast Fighting Arena. Kuang Shi hesitated for a mont, then rose and followed them.

In the distance, Mage Liesi watched Jiang Chen and the others leave with a dark expression and also got up to follow them.

Having left the Beast Fighting Arena, Jiang Chen stopped, turned, and looked at Kuang Shi who had followed.

"Mr. Jiang Chen, I ca to remind you that to deal with Dark Spider, you must kill them in one blow. If you take out those Paladin Knights, Ge’er Te, seeing no hope left, might not bother Long Yan anymore. However, if you leave him with hope, even though he’s not controlling Spa Training Camp right now, he could still manage to pull strings there!" Kuang Shi warned in a low voice.

Jiang Chen was taken aback, then spoke with depth in his eyes, "Mr. Kuang Shi, thank you. If you ever have the chance to visit Fla Dragon Kingdom, be sure to give a call."

While saying this, Jiang Chen took out his phone.

With a slight smile, Kuang Shi achieved his goal of extending goodwill, and clearly, Jiang Chen understood.

The two exchanged mobile numbers, and Kuang Shi turned and left.

Watching Kuang Shi’s retreating figure, Jiang Chen suddenly felt that today’s gains were truly substantial. With a slight smile, he turned and walked towards the hotel where they were staying.

"Wait!" A grim voice sounded, and Mage Liesi from Dark Spider rcenary Corps erged from the Beast Fighting Arena.
