A BMW Mini stopped at the hotel’s entrance, and Wang Yujiao stepped out of the car, having headed straight here after leaving Yichen Company.
Glancing at the hotel entrance, a cold look flashed in Wang Yujiao’s eyes, "Jiang Chen, Ye Jingyi, if you won’t let live peacefully, I won’t let you have it easy either!"
Muttering to herself, Wang Yujiao stepped into the hotel.
"Welco, glad to have you!"
As soon as Wang Yujiao entered, the receptionist at the door greeted her with an enthusiastic bow.
"Miss Wang, what brings you here?" a surprised voice rang out as the hotel lobby manager Li Jie, puzzled, approached Wang Yujiao.
Li Jie knew that Wang Yujiao was a friend of Ye Jingyi, but she was also aware that when the hotel first opened, Wang Yujiao had wanted her family to supply goods to Yichen Hotel, only to be turned down by Ye Jingyi.
Though Ye Jingyi valued personal relationships, she was very clear about separating business from private matters. Even though Wang Yujiao was her close friend, because Wang Yujiao’s family’s room products did not et the hotel’s standards, Ye Jingyi did not give approval.
Since then, Wang Yujiao had never visited the hotel again; her unexpected arrival today made Li Jie slightly surprised.
"Manager Li, is Mr. Pu Juncheng from Sanxin Group here? Jingyi sent because Jiang Chen has returned, and she can’t et Mr. Pu today, so she asked to help keep him settled," said Wang Yujiao with a light laugh.
Li Jie blinked, looking doubtfully at Wang Yujiao.
Jiang Chen was back, and Ye Jingyi was with Jiang Chen; Li Jie understood this completely. The tangled relationships among Jiang Chen, Gong Lin, Ye Jingyi, and Ye Yuwan were well known to the upper managent of Yichen, who all envied the pure emotions shared among the four. However, what puzzled Li Jie was why the task of reassuring a client was assigned to Wang Yujiao, who wasn’t an internal company mber?
"Jingyi feels bad for not partnering with on the hotel business, and this ti she wants to see if I can manage to get so benefits from Sanxin Group based on the successful cooperation between Yichen and Sanxin."
Noticing the doubt in Li Jie’s eyes, Wang Yujiao spoke with an embarrassed expression.
Li Jie instantly understood; after all, they were close friends.
With a slight nod, Li Jie quietly said, "Mr. Pu is in the Presidential Suite No. 2. Miss Wang, this ti President Ye has given you an opportunity, I hope you won’t disrupt the company’s collaboration with Sanxin Group."
"Don’t worry!"
Wang Yujiao smiled and nodded, then turned towards the elevator. Having passed the lobby check, Wang Yujiao let out a sigh of relief. It might seem like just passing through the lobby, but if her presence there had raised Li Jie’s suspicions, Li Jie would have surely inford Ye Jingyi that she was at the hotel, and that would have exposed her plan!
Boarding the elevator and watching the doors close, a cold gleam flashed in Wang Yujiao’s eyes.
Ding-dong!
Arriving at the door of the Presidential Suite No. 2, Wang Yujiao took a deep breath and pressed the doorbell, muttering softly, "Ye Jingyi, you were the one who refused to let be. You ruined my deal with Pu Minsung, so I have no choice but to turn to Pu Juncheng. You can’t bla for this!"
The door opened, revealing a middle-aged man with an icy facial expression who stepped out and coldly eyed Wang Yujiao.
"My na is Wang Yujiao, I am the close friend of Ye Jingyi, President of the Yichen Group’s Jinhai branch; I have a way to help you secure the cooperation with Yichen," Wang Yujiao got straight to the point.
"Let her in," a deep voice commanded. The middle-aged man stepped aside, and Wang Yujiao, taking a deep breath, walked in.
The sunlight filtered through the curtains into the room as Jiang Chen slowly awoke.
He turned his head to look at the sleeping beauty in his arms, savoring the sensation from the night before, and a satisfied smile curled at the corners of his mouth.
Finally, he had consummated his relationship with Jingyi.
With a grin, Jiang Chen turned his head and gently kissed Ye Jingyi’s vermilion lips.
"Mmm."
A subconscious moan sounded as Ye Jingyi slowly opened her eyes.
"You pervert, are you trying to tornt to death!" Jing Yi said with cheeks turning as red as a peach at the sight of the handso face so close to hers, her voice carrying a playful rebuke.
The madness of the previous night had left her inebriated and bashful, causing her to curl up and bury her head deep in Jiang Chen’s embrace.
The two of them were entwined in bed for a long ti until the sun was already high, when Jiang Chen got up to cook. Ye Jingyi, however, because she had just lost her virginity and had been overco by Jiang Chen all night, found herself unable to get out of bed for the ti being. She could only lean against the headboard with a sweet yet wistful expression, waiting for Jiang Chen to take care of her.
After sharing a brunch cuddled up in bed, Ye Jingyi complained in a whiny voice, "You, you’ve made so sore that I can’t even think about eting Pu Minsung now. Weren’t we supposed to discuss a collaboration with him?"
"I’ll take care of it, you just rest," Jiang Chen said as he stroked Ye Jingyi’s hair and kissed her forehead gently before standing up and leaving the room.
Stepping out of the villa, Yan Hu and Leng Ye stood guard at the entrance, one on the left and one on the right.
"Mr. Jiang."
"Young Master!"
Upon seeing Jiang Chen erge, they both greeted him respectfully.
"Jing Yi needs to rest. Make sure no one disturbs her," Jiang Chen instructed softly.
"Yes!" They both responded in unison.
Jiang Chen gave Leng Ye a deep look and exchanged a knowing glance with Yan Hu.
Yan Hu nodded in understanding.
Jiang Chen then turned and walked towards his car, the Knight XV.
Inside the guest reception room of the Yichen Company’s Jinhai branch.
Early in the morning, Pu Minsung arrived at Yichen with a sultry-looking woman, and after being shown to the guest reception room, they settled in to wait quietly.
"Mr. Pu, isn’t this Yichen too arrogant? We’ve been waiting all morning and haven’t even seen a shadow of their CEO or boss!" The woman frowned deeply, expressing her discontent.
"Assistant Kim, we are the ones seeking a partnership with Yichen; a necessary level of courtesy is required. Besides, Mr. Jiang may be assertive, but he shouldn’t be the arrogant type; he probably got held up by sothing. Let’s just wait," Pu Minsung said in a soothing tone.
"Mr. Pu, you’re just too nice. If it were up to , I’d say we should be waiting for them at the hotel to co to us!" Assistant Kim said with a frosty look on her pretty face.
Waiting for them to co to us?
Pu Minsung glanced at Assistant Kim and shook his head slightly. My brother, who is also waiting for them to co to us, probably thinks the sa as you. But what’s the result? With Mr. Jiang’s personality, would he really pay a visit for such a collaboration?
"If you can’t wait, you’re free to leave. No one’s forcing you to stay," a deep voice said as Jiang Chen walked in through the doorway.
"Mr. Jiang." Pu Minsung stood up to greet him, extending his hand for a handshake.
Jiang Chen shook hands with Pu Minsung and apologized, "I’m sorry, Mr. Pu, I was delayed by so matters! I’ll treat you to lunch as an apology."
"Oh no, it’s only right for us to wait, we’re the ones seeking cooperation!" Pu Minsung hastily shook his head.
Jiang Chen was slightly taken aback, then gave Pu Minsung a deep look.
