A stern voice rose, and the doors of the ancestral hall opened once again, as two old n walked out from the entrance.
The elder on the left had a kindly face, a white robe conveying his scholarly deanor, while the elder on the right was the exact opposite, his face frosty, a black tight-fitted garnt making him look efficient and stern.
"First Elder, Second Elder!" Jiang Chen bowed to the two elders.
The two elders nodded in approval at Jiang Chen, with Second Elder in black turning to glare at Third Elder and chastising him in a low voice, "Are you disgracing yourself?"

The ancestral hall was styled like an old courtyard, divided into east and west wing rooms and a main room to the north. As soon as one entered through the gate, they would face the main room directly.

Upon entering the east wing room, Jiang Chen was taken aback. The room contained only a bamboo bed, a wooden table, four wooden chairs, a wooden cabinet, a tea set, and a chessboard. Beyond that, there was nothing else!
"This is my bedroom," the Great Elder said softly, introducing the room as he sat down at the head of the wooden table. The Second Elder and Third Elder also took their seats, leaving the one closest to the door vacant.
Jiang Chen nodded slightly and naturally took the available seat.
Upon seeing this, the Great Elder couldn’t help but laugh.
