The confrontation in front of the ancestral hall ended when the Third Elder couldn’t accept reality and refused to fight.

Jiang Chen looked at the three Elders and Jiang Mingcheng with great excitent.

Using the Bloody Radiance to deflect and dodge attacks was sothing he had just learned today.

With this move, he wouldn’t need to, like before, face more than two Innate Grandmasters and only use the Blood Dance Dharmic Heaven to quickly eliminate one of them. If he were to face Mu Si and the other three Paladin Knights now, he was confident that he could kill them unscathed without using the Blood Saber!

"Thank you, the three great-uncles and Fifth Uncle," Jiang Chen said with a solemn deanor, bowing deeply to the four n. This insight was truly significant, showing him new ways to utilize the power of blood.

"It seems you’ve grasped sothing impressive!" Elder Master Jiang said with a smile, "But only you could do it—our Inner Qi isn’t potent enough to deflect the full force of a strike from an Innate Grandmaster like that."

Jiang Chen smiled, did not respond, and turned to look at Jiang Mingcheng, "Fifth Uncle, how co you have ti to co over these days?"

"I... am I that damn free?" Jiang Mingcheng glared at Jiang Chen, but the glare caused pain in his wounded face, making him grimace.

Jiang Chen was montarily startled and then shook his head with amusent.

"Brat, you just wait for . Once I can beat you, I’ll give you a good thrashing!" Jiang Mingcheng looked at Jiang Chen, filled with rage.

Jiang Chen shrugged and said indifferently, "I look forward to that day."

"You, don’t get cocky! Watch out, or I’ll call in a top expert from our departnt to teach you a lesson!" Jiang Mingcheng glared, his voice nacing.

"Sure, sure!" Jiang Chen nodded repeatedly; he was eager for soone to spar with him.

"You..." Noticing the eager look in Jiang Chen’s eyes, Jiang Mingcheng couldn’t help feeling annoyed. Suddenly, a thought occurred to him, and he sneered, "Did you find soone to protect your mother and Jing Yi?"

"Yes."

Jiang Chen was slightly taken aback, then thought of Xia Yu and the others, and gently nodded.

"They never left the Jiang Family since they ca, and you making such a ruckus with your fights with the Elders, they got worried sothing might happen. They sent to tell you to go out and bring them in," Jiang Mingcheng rambled on.

Jiang Chen gave him a puzzled look, "If they’re here, why don’t they just co in directly? Or they could tell the people at the gate to inform , and I’d fetch them. Why must we go out to pick them up?"

"You..."

Jiang Mingcheng gave Jiang Chen a white look, "Who are they? Fla Dragon bodyguards. If they co knocking on the door on their own, Jiang Minghui and his lot would definitely investigate them. Once they find out they’re Fla Dragon bodyguards but ca to protect your family, what would people think if this news got out?"

The three Elders were all stunned, looking at Jiang Chen in amazent.

Jiang Chen’s brow furrowed slightly, "So, you an that Jiang Minghui and the others won’t investigate them if I bring them in?"

"Not exactly, the information they forged says they’re experts you subdued in Dingjing, but it would seem abrupt if they showed up on their own. That’s why they waited for you to go out; they don’t want even the slightest chance of exposure," Jiang Mingcheng explained.

Jiang Chen’s expression darkened, and he coldly said, "They don’t want to leverage that? If they’re really so apprehensive about leveraging their power, then they can piss off! I hired them as bodyguards, not so bigshots. If these bodyguards still worry about leveraging their power and guard against , what use do I have for them?"

The three Elders all frowned, just about to speak to calm him, but then they thought about it and realized he had a point, so they closed their mouths again.

"This... Jiang Chen, after all, they are Fla Dragon bodyguards. They have more concerns. Maybe you could..." Jiang Mingcheng softly tried to pacify.

Jiang Chen glanced at Jiang Mingcheng, took out his phone, and made a call.

"Hello, General Instructor Jiang." The call was quickly answered, with Xu Wannian’s voice coming from the handset.

"Elder Xu, if you don’t want to send people to protect my mother and Jing Yi, just say so. There’s no need to be concerned about this and that. I, Jiang Chen, have always relied on myself. Do you have to make this so complicated? I asked them to co here to protect people, not to be received like so nobles. If they want to co, co; if not, piss off!"

Jiang Chen vented his complaints in a burst and then imdiately hung up the phone.

"Who, who were you on the phone with?" Jiang Mingcheng stood there, dazed, staring dumbly at Jiang Chen.

He recognized the voice on the phone, but he simply couldn’t believe it.

Could Jiang Chen really boss around a big shot like Xu Wannian?

That was way too aweso!

"I called whoever sent them!" Jiang Chen answered irritably. "Do they really think they’re so important? Do I have to personally invite them? Wasn’t this what they promised in the first place?"

"This... well, you..." Jiang Mingcheng wanted to ask sothing more but abruptly closed his mouth.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, a figure burst out from the woods. A Semi Innate bodyguard bowed to the crowd and said respectfully, "Young Master Jiang Yuqing is here to invite Chen’er to attend the Jincheng family’s youth gathering."

"Good, Chen’er, you go ahead. Making more friends is a good thing," the Elder Master Jiang said with a gentle nod.

Jiang Chen nodded in agreent, called out a greeting, and turned to walk into the woods, the Semi Innate bodyguard respectfully taking two quick steps to lead the way in front.

Not just anyone could enter these woods without announcing themselves; within the entire Jiang Family, only Elder Master Jiang and Jiang Mingcheng had the freedom to co and go as they pleased. Now there was Jiang Chen as well.

The many guards in the woods, having witnessed Jiang Chen sparring with the three Elder Masters over the past few days, were filled with awe for Jiang Chen.

Stepping out of the woods, Jiang Chen imdiately spotted Jiang Yuqing, Jiang Yuling, and Jiang Yufeng waiting on the other side.

"Cousin Jiang Chen!"

"Cousin Jiang Chen!"

Upon seeing Jiang Chen, the three greeted him in quick succession. They were very clear in their hearts that Jiang Chen’s freedom to enter and exit the woods ant he had definitely earned the three Elder Masters’ approval.

The position as the legitimate eldest grandson of the Jiang family was now firmly established.

Whether they accepted it or not was another matter, but the respect they showed on the surface was sothing they dared not skimp on.

Jiang Chen nodded and then followed them out.

...

anwhile, in the parking lot of Longteng Company, Jiang Mingqian walked with an unhappy expression on his face.

Suddenly, two n appeared abruptly in front of him on the pathway.

"Who’s there?!"

The two Heavenly Level bodyguards accompanying Jiang Mingqian imdiately stepped forward, intending to drive the two n away.

But before they could reach them, an intimidating aura suddenly burst forth.

Thump thump!

The two Heavenly Level bodyguards were instantly knocked down by the force of this aura.

From a distance, Jiang Mingqian’s face turned pale with shock, murmuring, "Two, two Innate Grandmasters?"
