"That should be enough! I called Pu Minsung and Scar to join us."

Jiang Chen spoke softly, yet his brows furrowed slightly, for he truly felt unsure.

During this period, Scar Ge’er Yan was not with the Blazing Fla rcenary Corps. When Jiang Chen had dealt with "Te," he had sent him a ssage to hurry back and compete for the assets in Ge’er Te’s hands.

This ti, needing financial support, Jiang Chen had called him in.

"Let’s not talk about this for now. I’m going to board the plane. The annual conference of Wanguo Bank is tomorrow afternoon. I’ll arrive in the afternoon, just in ti to see Yu Wan." Glancing at the ti, Jiang Chen reached out to embrace Gong Lin and kissed her forehead.

"Go ahead, Yu Wan has always been busy, and so have you. You really do see each other rarely," Gong Lin nodded.

A trace of apology appeared in Jiang Chen’s eyes as he spoke softly, "I’ve put you through a lot during this ti, I..."

"Enough!" Gong Lin covered Jiang Chen’s mouth with her hand, laughing softly, "A man should have his own career. We have plenty of ti ahead! Hurry up, don’t miss your flight."

"Okay!" Jiang Chen nodded, kissed Gong Lin once more, and then walked towards the airport entrance.

Watching Jiang Chen’s retreating figure, a tender look flashed through Gong Lin’s eyes, which then turned into a resolute expression!

Jiang Chen, we sisters can’t help you much, but at least we won’t hold you back anymore. We will quietly wait for the day you stand at the pinnacle!

Rumble, rumble, rumble...

Soon after, a plane flying from Jincheng to Ross City in the Northern Confederation slowly took off and soared into the sky.

On the plane.

Jiang Chen sat in first class, feigning sleep, his mind imagining how Yè Yùwǎn would react upon seeing him.

After the talent show, Yè Yùwǎn had taken up a role in a movie being fild in the Northern Confederation at the splendid Huahuahua Film City.

"Ah! John! There’s no more dicine! What do we do?" Suddenly, a panicked shout erupted.

Jiang Chen opened his eyes and looked forward.

There were only four people in his cabin, seated in pairs.

Next to Jiang Chen sat a Northern Confederation Caucasian woman wearing large frog-eye glasses. Her slender figure, although partially obscured by the glasses which covered most of her face, still hinted at her extraordinary beauty through her facial contours. Her simple business suit exuded an air of nobility.

In front was a Caucasian young couple from the Northern Confederation. The man was dressed in a suit, and the woman wore a split Fla Robe, clearly, the two were just concluding their vacation and were returning to the Northern Confederation.

At that mont, the man was lying back in his seat, breathing heavily, unable to speak, his face deathly pale, eyes wide open, and hands tightly clutching his heart.

The woman held an empty dicine bottle, her face full of panic, tears brimming in her eyes!

"Hello, I’m a doctor. Is there anything I can help you with?" Jiang Chen stood up and approached the couple, offering his services.

"A doctor? You’re a doctor? Thank God! Please save my husband, he’s having a heart attack, but we’re out of dicine!"

Upon hearing Jiang Chen’s words, the woman grabbed Jiang Chen’s hand like a drowning person clinging to a lifesaver, urgently speaking.

"Let take a look," Jiang Chen gently patted the back of the woman’s hand to comfort her, then placed his hand on the man’s wrist.

Seeing this, the woman sitting in the back row’s eyes lit up, watching Jiang Chen with keen interest.

"Here, doctor, this is the dicine my husband, John, was taking!" The woman handed the dicine bottle to Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen spoke softly, "That’s not necessary."

The woman paused, then realizing Jiang Chen was checking John’s pulse, her expression changed to one of surprise, "You, you, you practice ancient dicine?"

"Yes!" Jiang Chen nodded softly, beginning to remove John’s shirt.

The woman in the back row stared intently at Jiang Chen, her eyes filled with anticipation.

"Wait a minute!" The woman extended her hand to stop Jiang Chen, a skeptical look on her face, "Can ancient dicine really cure illnesses?"

Hearing the woman’s words, Jiang Chen furrowed his brows and a flash of dissatisfaction crossed his eyes. He looked sternly at the woman and asked:

"Did his illness begin three years ago?"

"Has he been searching for a suitable heart for a transplant ever since he got sick?"

"Is his heart disease hereditary? And is it a case of skipping generations?"

"Most importantly, wasn’t it supposed to be his father who fell ill, not him? But his father didn’t fall ill, and it skipped two generations to him. Is that right?"

The woman was stunned by Jiang Chen’s barrage of questions, her face full of astonishnt as she looked at him: "How, how do you know?"

John, who was lying in the seat, also struggled to raise his head to look at Jiang Chen, showing a shocked expression in his eyes.

"This is ancient dicine. No instrunts are needed, no tests are required, just a pulse check and the disease and its cause can be known!"

Jiang Chen straightened up and looked indifferently at the woman: "Moreover, his condition is an acute disease. You shouldn’t have concealed his condition to get on a plane!"

"We..." Panic flashed in the woman’s eyes, and then she hesitated, "Can, can you treat it?"

"Yes, I can. If you allow to treat him, I will. But I have one condition!" Jiang Chen said calmly.

"How much money do you want?" Doubt flickered in the woman’s eyes.

Jiang Chen gently shook his head. "I don’t want money. I need you to apologize, to apologize to ancient dicine!"

"What?" The woman was taken aback.

John grabbed the woman’s hand abruptly, and she quickly turned to look at him.

By then, a thin layer of sweat had ford on John’s face, which was completely pale. He seed as if he was about to pass out.

The woman’s face changed, and she looked at Jiang Chen in a panic: "I apologize, I’m sorry, sir, please save my husband, save my husband!"

Jiang Chen still did not make a move, and said indifferently, "Not to , but for the words you just spoke, apologize to the ancient dicine of the Fla Dragon Kingdom."

The woman’s brows furrowed and she looked at John, thought for a mont, then apologized again: "Yes, I was wrong, I apologize for my earlier words, I shouldn’t have spoken of ancient dicine that way."

Jiang Chen ignored the woman and began to unbutton John’s shirt, retrieving three silver needles from the sleeve.

"What, what are you going to do?" The woman’s expression changed again, her eyes on the cold, gleaming silver needles in Jiang Chen’s hand.

Jiang Chen glanced at the woman and said indifferently, "To treat or not to treat?"

"You... are going to use these needles for the treatnt?" Doubt appeared again in the woman’s eyes.

"These are Silver Needles, a traditional tool used for treating diseases in the ancient dical practices of the Fla Dragon Kingdom. Ya Sha, you’ve always boasted about being familiar with the Fla Dragon Kingdom, do you distrust its revered ancient practices as well?" A woman in the back row spoke, her tone laden with sarcasm.

At the words, Ya Sha’s expression changed, and she turned her head to look at the woman in the back seat. But when she saw her face, she exclaid, "Miss Sa Li?!"

"That’s !"

The woman in the back seat took off her glasses and looked at Ya Sha with a teasing expression.

Ya Sha gave a sheepish smile, turned her head back down, and lowered it, seemingly lost in thought.

Jiang Chen frowned and glanced at Ya Sha, then turned to look at John.

By then, John’s breath had weakened severely. Seeing Jiang Chen turning to him, a pleading look appeared in his eyes.

Jiang Chen’s heart softened, and he raised his hand to begin acupuncture.

"Hold on, I need to see your dical license!" Ya Sha, noticing Jiang Chen’s movents, suddenly held up her hand to block Jiang Chen’s.

Jiang Chen couldn’t help but be stunned.

There was sothing odd about this Ya Sha’s behavior.
