"Darling, I, I…" she stamred, trying to say sothing.
"Shut your mouth! As of now, you're fired. Get the hell out of here imdiately!"
However, the man she had called 'darling', the manager in the suit, reacted far more intensely than anyone had imagined. He clenched his teeth and actually fired his girlfriend, the blonde woman nad Selina. She was so startled she froze in disbelief.
"Oh, no! I'm sorry, my dear, I was wrong. And to you, esteed guest, please… I shouldn't have acted that way before. I beg you, don't let him fire . Please don't fire !" The blonde, Selina, was on the verge of tears as she frantically turned to the manager, grabbing his arm and begging him not to fire her from the hotel.
The entire European economy, including London, was in a downturn, and unemploynt rates were high. A hotel receptionist might not be a prestigious title, but the salary was excellent. If she lost this job, finding another with similar pay would be extrely difficult. At the thought of personally throwing away such a lucrative job, Selina wanted to slap herself hard. Why did I have to be so vile? Why did I have to be such a snob, judging people by their appearance?

How could she dare give Chen Fei any trouble? Hadn't she just seen her forr colleague, the blonde Selina, lose her hard-won job? She certainly didn't want to suffer the sa fate.
By now, most of the anger in Chen Fei, Young Master Chen, had subsided. He couldn't be bothered to argue with a receptionist, especially one who hadn't done anything to him. Hearing her response, he gave a slight nod and said quietly, "Thank you."
The olive-skinned, long-haired woman quickly completed the check-in procedures for Chen Fei and Feng Lu. She was extrely respectful, almost timid, as she inford them of all the other necessary details.
The manager was sowhat taken aback when he saw the key for a standard, special-rate room in Chen Fei's hand. In his view, a man holding a Centurion Black Card should be staying in their top presidential suite to match his status, but now… Being a smart man, however, he knew better than to ask foolish questions. As Chen Fei and Feng Lu headed for the elevator, he called out respectfully, "Enjoy your stay, esteed guest."
But Chen Fei, Young Master Chen, still didn't deign to acknowledge him.
A mont later, once Chen Fei and Feng Lu were in the elevator, the latter could no longer contain her curiosity and excitent. Clenching her fists, she whispered, "Hey, why are they so afraid of you? Are you really a billionaire?"

How was I supposed to bring sothing like that up? Besides, would you even have believed ? "Pfft. You're such a narcissist! Showing off is shaless!" Feng Lu retorted, shooting him a contemptuous look. Imdiately after, however, she couldn't stop her lips from curling into a smile as the elevator arrived at their floor.
"I'm going to get so rest; I'm exhausted. If you're free tomorrow, we can hang out," Feng Lu said as she walked out of the elevator.
"Sounds good. Just give a call," Chen Fei nodded, stepping out as well.
