Prince Schumacher stiffly raised his head, his gaze fixed on the young Easterner's face—the face of Chen Fei, Young Master Chen. His expression was complex, and for a long ti, he was speechless.
Chen Fei, however, paid them no mind. His foot remained planted on Bishop Hales's chest, and then… he suddenly began to apply more force.
BANG!
"Gah—save… save … Prince Schumacher, save !"
Bishop Hales instantly spat out a mouthful of blood. The area of his chest caved in under Chen Fei's foot, and his breathing beca labored. Terrified out of his wits, he finally began to beg for rcy, his face pale as he coughed. "Save !"
The scene fell deathly silent once more.
Aside from Mardo, who could still regard Chen Fei with a trace of complexity, everyone else's eyes were filled with disbelief, even shock.
How could they not be? Who could have predicted that a confrontation expected to be a one-sided crush would end like this? The First Red Robed Bishop of the Holy Church of the Divine Holy Church, a genuine ss Ultimate Powerhouse, was now beaten into begging for rcy. The scene was utterly staggering, completely unbelievable.
"Your Excellency…" After a long mont, Prince Schumacher finally spoke, his expression still conflicted.
No matter what, Hales is soone our family asked for help. For that reason alone, I can't just stand by and watch. Otherwise, if the Holy Church of the Divine Holy Church decides to hold us accountable later, it will be a real ss!
Upon hearing the Prince speak, Chen Fei knew he likely wouldn't be able to land a killing blow. "Heh, so you finally rembered to call for backup?" he said with a cold laugh. "I can spare him this one ti, for your sake, Prince. However, you made your killing intent toward perfectly clear just now. While the death penalty may be waived, a living punishnt is unavoidable."
Hearing Chen Fei relent, Prince Schumacher couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief, even feeling a strange sense of having been shown respect. Unwittingly, he had started to see Chen Fei as an expert on his own level, not just so youth.
"You… you… what more do you want!?" Bishop Hales, however, did not see it that way. His blood-stained, contorted face filled with shock and rage. He couldn't believe it! His opponent still wasn't planning to let him go! Does this little bastard truly think the Holy Church of the Divine Holy Church behind is a joke!?
"What more do I want?" A sinister smile touched the corners of Chen Fei's lips, and his gaze turned glacial. "It seems your mory isn't very good, Old Rascal. Have you forgotten what you said back in the palace?"
I've always been one to hold a grudge. This Old Rascal… didn't he want to snap one of my arms? Didn't he want to make kneel and beg for rcy? Fine. Let's see who gets an arm snapped now! Let's see who… kneels and begs! As for the Holy Church of the Divine Holy Church… things have already gone this far. There's no chance of a peaceful resolution, so the consequences don't matter. After this is over, a battle between and the church behind Hales is inevitable. After all, I beat their First Red Robed Bishop to a pulp. How could they possibly not stand up for him?
"What did you say!?" Hales's face twisted, becoming utterly ferocious and unsightly.
Who is he, Hales? What is his status? He's the First Red Robed Bishop of the Holy Church of the Divine Holy Church, a genuine ss Ultimate Powerhouse! Even within the vast and mighty Church, he is an absolute high-ranking official with imnse authority! And now? Now this little bastard was actually demanding that he… in front of everyone… beg for rcy!? As a high-ranking figure in such a powerful organization, his pride was imasurable. So, even though his strength was currently inferior, wasn't being taught a lesson and suppressed the absolute limit? Begging for rcy? You must be fucking dreaming! FUCK!
Prince Schumacher obviously understood this 'blatantly obvious' truth as well. His expression flickered before he slowly began to speak, "Your Excellency, this matter…"
"Prince, I believe I have already shown you face once, haven't I?" Chen Fei's indifferent voice cut him off before he could finish.

The crowd erupted into an uproar. Nearly everyone stared at Chen Fei with a petrified gaze. This kid… he… that's Prince Schumacher, not Bishop Hales! A venerable Blood Clan Prince! And this… this Easterner actually dared to speak to him with such a tone and attitude? Even Bishop Hales, pinned beneath Chen Fei's foot, felt his expression shift into one of panic.
Ultimately, he could only turn his pleading eyes back to Prince Schumacher. I can't beg for rcy! It would an a complete loss of dignity! But if I refuse… this ti, I feel like that little bastard really intends to kill !

Seeing Hales look to him again, a fire ignited in Prince Schumacher's heart. How could a supre expert of his age fail to understand that the young man's words were a direct warning? Just a mont ago, the boy had abandoned his murderous intent simply because I said a single sentence. He had already shown more than enough face. If I, Schumacher, were to speak up again, it wouldn't be to diate for Hales—it would be to pick a fight with Chen Fei! But even though he understood this, being shown such disrespect and being cornered by Chen Fei's words left him deeply infuriated!
Yet, when his gaze fell upon the wretched figure of Hales under Chen Fei's foot, he hesitated. In the end, he spoke slowly and gravely, "In any case, let's not take things too far."
Anyone could understand his stance from that lukewarm statent. 'Don't take things too far' was rely a suggestion. If things did go too far, it wasn't his problem.
"Prince Schumacher…"
At that, Bishop Hales's face beca impossibly ugly. I thought he would side with , speak for , if only for the sake of the Holy Church of the Divine Holy Church! But now? I, Hales, the First Red Robed Bishop, am being trampled underfoot like a dead dog. That's humiliating enough! I wanted to preserve my last shred of dignity! If I truly beg for rcy and word gets out, my reputation… my face… it will be ground into dust, completely obliterated! At the thought, a wave of sha made the blood roil in his chest, and he nearly coughed up another mouthful.
In the end, however, he suppressed the humiliation and the rising gorge in his throat. His face was grim, his jaw trembling as he clenched his teeth and squeezed out a few words, each as quiet as a mosquito's buzz. "...I'm sorry. Please… let go this ti."
The expressions of everyone present seed to freeze, and the atmosphere beca so silent it was eerie.
Even they could never have imagined it. Hales, the distinguished First Red Robed Bishop of the Holy Church of the Divine Holy Church, had actually… actually just begged for rcy. If news of this got out, it would cause an earthquake.
"Heh heh…" Seeing the scene unfold, Saint Magus lsdom, who had been observing with narrowed eyes, kept his gaze fixed on Chen Fei, though what he was pondering remained a mystery.
"Your Excellency, ladies and gentlen, let us gather in the council chamber to discuss 'that matter.' There isn't much ti left." Just then, Prince Schumacher's hoarse voice rang out again, inviting everyone inside. The seal on the stone door was clearly about to fail. There really wasn't much ti left.
