"Defected?" Chen Fei was slightly stunned upon hearing this, but he said nothing, continuing to listen.
"Yes, he defected. Not long after he turned his back on the Yin Yang Sect, First Emperor Qin vanished. No one knew where he went. It was thought he fled the Qiannan Ancient Kingdom to hide temporarily in another Ancient Country. However, about a hundred years later, he suddenly returned. He reappeared in the public eye with his new identity as a mighty Primordial Core True Lord Realm Expert. His very first battle was to kill a Primordial Core True Lord elder from the Yin Yang Sect, taking his head and hanging it on the battlefield for a full day and night!"
The further he got into the story, the more the surging emotion in Zhen Jingkong's voice beca impossible to conceal. "To ignite an entire era of flourishing prosperity with the strength of a single man! Only he could have done that, right? First Emperor Qin... And the most terrifying part is, in the end, he actually succeeded."
As Zhen Jingkong spoke with impassioned and turbulent emotion, Chen Fei listened with a trembling gaze, his eyes filled with admiration.
An Ancient Country in the Cultivation World is at least ten, even a hundred tis larger than Earth. It's ho to countless powerful sovereigns, heaven-shaking titans, and all sorts of supre figures. Yet, 'First Emperor' Ying Zheng still managed to carve out such a fearso reputation for himself there. He even earned the reverence and awe of Zhen Jingkong a thousand years later. At most, there were so 'small fry' who weren't worthy of notice making so minor moves behind the scenes, but that was nothing... Now, though, things are different."
"Things are different? How so?" Chen Fei asked, a little taken aback.
"Because the Ying family has begun to migrate as a whole. They're moving to the Dominating Emperor Domain, a realm beyond the Ancient Country that is far more vast and has a much deeper foundation!"
The answer Zhen Jingkong gave was stunning.

Just as Chen Fei's mind reeled in turmoil, Zhen Jingkong's voice rang out again. "Relying on the lingering might of the Ying family's First Emperor Qin, your Earth might be able to hold on for another few decades. But what happens decades from now, when the Ying family has completely departed from the Qiannan Ancient Kingdom for the distant Dominating Emperor Domain? Do you think the major powers will still feel the need to be so restrained?"
"After all, this is still a small world!"
Hearing this, Chen Fei fell silent. An expression of deep solemnity he couldn't suppress appeared on his face, his gaze even flickering with a hint of panic. He murmured, "What you're trying to say is..."
"I an that before long—perhaps in a few decades, perhaps in a century—your Earth will definitely descend into chaos! "Save Earth? ?" Chen Fei's eyes flickered as he murmured to himself for a mont before suddenly asking aloud, "Senior, do I look like a hero to you?"
He was asking Zhen Jingkong if he, Chen Fei, looked like a hero. It was sothing only a world-defying, peerlessly brilliant figure like First Emperor Ying Zheng had been able to accomplish. Could he, Chen Fei, really do the sa?
"If you're thinking about being a hero, then I truly doubt the Cultivation World is the right place for you... After all, it's a place that devours people whole, leaving not even the bones behind! "Of course not!" Chen Fei declared without hesitation, his pupils contracting. He then clenched his fists, his gaze shimring.
Inwardly, however, he couldn't help but sigh and admit the truth. This Zhen Jingkong truly was a sly old fox with over a century of experience. He was just too good with words.
