"What did you say?!"
Who was Stuvia Brad? He was a mber of the 'Brad' Mafia Great Family. Although not a core mber, he was considered one of the best among the family's younger generation. Who didn't flatter him and treat him as an honored guest wherever he went? When had he ever heard such arrogant words?
It was understandable if soone hadn't heard of the great Brad Family's na due to their low status or qualifications. But the tone of that comnt implied a complete disregard for their great family. What a provocation! Not even the Italian Royal Family would dare say such a thing!
If the family found out that he, Stuvia, had allowed the great Brad Family to be humiliated, he would face terrible consequences... ones he might not be able to bear! At that thought, a cold light flashed in his azure eyes.
"You are a truly unfriendly person from Huaxia. And unfortunately for you, you've made angry! The great Brad Family will not tolerate insults!" A glacial voice, filled with murderous intent, escaped the handso Stuvia's lips, and the surrounding temperature plumted.
"Wait, what do you think you're doing? We're in the Black Market's castle," Chen Yaoyang interjected, his face changing. He brought up the Black Market, hoping it would make the other man hesitate. It wasn't Stuvia's personal strength he feared, but the family behind him. The Brad Family... one of the oldest and most powerful Mafia Great Families in all of Europe. The very thought was daunting.
But while Chen Yaoyang was intimidated, Chen Fei felt not an ounce of fear. Seeing the Italian's arrogance, as if he ant to teach him a lesson, only fanned the flas of his own simring anger. The smile on his lips grew colder as he said disdainfully, "I have no obligation to be friendly to people who don't deserve it. I'd advise you to be careful. This is Hong Kong. This is Huaxia. If you ss up here, not even the devil can save you."
After speaking, he turned and waved to the panic-stricken Chen Yaoyang and the dazed Dong Shuxian. "Mr. Chen, Ms. Dong, let's go. I don't want to see these two annoying pests again. They're ruining my mood."
"Insolent whelp, stop right there! Do you think I can't send you to hell this very instant? Did your elders teach you no respect for your betters?" Seeing a re youth like Chen Fei act so brazenly before him and a mber of the Brad Family, Ma Shihao trembled with fury, pointing a finger at him as he berated him.
But in the next instant, everyone present felt the atmosphere turn frigid. A terrifying pressure descended out of nowhere, causing everyone's pupils to contract.
"Old fool, it seems you really can't keep that mouth of yours in check." Chen Fei had been about to enter the castle gate when Ma Shihao uttered those words. But upon hearing the taunt about his 'elders', he stopped dead in his tracks. He turned around, his gaze fixed on the old man, and his voice was as cold as Myriad Years Ice, chilling them to the bone.
He had been raised by his mother, having never known his father. Later, by a stroke of fate, he learned martial arts from his master. As such, he was extrely sensitive about this topic. His mother had endured untold hardships to raise him, and his master had bestowed upon him the skills to protect himself—a debt of gratitude so imnse it could never be repaid. How could he possibly allow so random outsider to criticize them? This was his reverse scale, the one line that could not be crossed.
"Heh heh!" Ma Shihao, completely oblivious that he had just stepped on a landmine, sneered condescendingly and continued his tirade, "A young man should know his place! Who are your elders? Where are they? You are utterly lawless!"
Who did Ma Shihao think he was? This was likely the first ti in his life he had ever been pointed at and scolded by a re youth, and it made him even more furious. With every word, he was digging his own grave. To ask about his elders, where they were... heh, the man was simply courting death.
In a dark corner outside the castle, a hunched figure slowly materialized. Leaning on a cane with a stooped back, the figure was shrouded in a dark grey robe that concealed its face and body. Only a faint, hoarse, ancient voice was heard murmuring, "The youth of today are getting more and more... Heh." The hoarse murmur cut off abruptly, and the eyes hidden within the darkness widened in shock.
A cold scoff echoed. A violent aura erupted from Chen Fei, and the great vine-draped castle gate seed to tremble. He lunged like a furious tiger, unleashing a punch as terrifying as the Yellow River bursting its banks, powerful enough to roil the very clouds in the sky!
"That technique... could it be from that damned old geezer...?" the figure in the dark corner murmured in a strange tone. Then, in a flash, the figure vanished into the shadows.
"ROAR!"
A terrifying presence exploded from Chen Fei's slender fra, as overwhelming as the Yellow River in flood. The roar of a tiger descending a mountain seed to echo in the void, shaking the land and making hearts tremble. "I originally didn't want to bother with an old fool who hides behind his age," Chen Fei snarled, "but you just had to court death. In that case, don't bla for being rciless."
In fact, my temper is already very good, but ti and again, so self-righteous fool cos along to test my limits, to dance on a knife's edge. My mother and my master are my reverse scale, yet he insulted them both with a single sentence. If soone like that doesn't deserve to die, who does? It's his own damn fault. Does he really think being the head of the Ma Family, one of Hong Kong's Five Great Tycoon Families, and a re B-Level Ability User ans he can do whatever he wants? Sorry, but I, Chen Fei, don't give a damn about that level of strength!
"A youngster like you dares to raise a hand against ?" Seeing Chen Fei actually throw a punch, Ma Shihao's expression darkened. A deadly coldness surfaced in his murky old eyes, and a flicker of killing intent flashed within them.
With a low shout, an unimaginable storm instantly ford in his hands, radiating an aweso and terrifying power that surprised even Stuvia. Staring blankly at Ma Shihao's back, he muttered in shock, "He can instantly cast a peak B-Level Ability Magic? Has he already broken through to A-Level?"
The Storm Tornado was considered one of the most powerful Wind B-Class Supernatural Magics. Most B-Level Ability Users would find it exhausting to cast, yet Ma Shihao had summoned it instantly. This proved he had either touched the threshold of the A-Level, or had already secretly broken through. Either possibility was shocking enough for a mber of the Brad Family. After all, an A-Level Ability User was equivalent to a First-Class Master. Even in an ancient Mafia Family like the Brads, they were considered crucial powerhouses who were afforded great respect and a certain degree of influence in family affairs.
"ROAR!"
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
The terrifying peak B-Level Ability Magic, Storm Tornado, ascended with a frightening rumble after being instantly cast by Ma Shihao. It exploded with intense power in mid-air and, propelled by Ma Shihao's savage expression and cold laughter, it barreled towards Chen Fei with overwhelming might.
"No!"
"Don't!"
Chen Yaoyang and the others turned pale at the sight. Dong Shuxian let out a piercing scream.
Even as an ordinary person, she could feel the terrifying power of the Storm Tornado. It seed capable of destroying the heavens and the earth, shaking the majestic castle gate in its gale and making it reverberate with a thunderous roar. It was a power no mortal should possess. Her face filled with despair, believing Chen Fei had no chance of survival against such a demonic attack. He was too young; he was only a man, not a god. In her eyes, Ma Shihao, with his terrifying Ability Magic, was no different from the devil himself.
But what about her father's illness? What was she going to do?
"Heh... to think you'd dare show off such a hollow spectacle."
Just as she was about to fall into despair and Chen Yaoyang had closed his eyes in resignation, that familiar, disdainful chuckle echoed coolly through the air. Their bodies jolted, and their incredulous gazes snapped toward the center of the terrifying Storm Tornado.
"BOOM!"
A trendous roar, powerful enough to shake the entire castle, erupted. The Storm Tornado, which had seed so invincible just a mont ago, was suddenly ripped apart by an imnse force. An abrupt, deathly silence fell over the world, broken only by the rustling of leaves in the wind outside the castle.
Everyone stared, dumbfounded, at the dreamlike scene before them.
A young man of about twenty had not only been completely unhard by Ma Shihao's instantly cast peak B-Level Ability Magic—the Storm Tornado—but that fully-ford spell had also been effortlessly torn apart by so mysterious power, as if it were all a movie special effect. Witnessing this, Stuvia broke out in a cold sweat. His azure pupils trembled uncontrollably, his face a mask of pure fear.
Good heavens, what kind of great personage had I just offended? To remain completely unhard by a peak B-Level Ability Magic and to destroy it so casually... One would need to be a powerhouse at the level of Count's Peak—a peak A-Level Ability User—to have the qualifications and ability to do sothing like that. But... but that's impossible! How old is he? Even if he started his Cultivation in his mother's womb, he couldn't have reached such a level at his age, could he? One must realize that even within our Brad Family, there are very few who have reached Count's Peak!
