Upon hearing this, everyone’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. Was this the sa proud and arrogant Ito iya from a mont ago? He was acting like a complete bootlicker!

This scared Wang Hongtao out of his wits; he thought Ye Xiu was about to kill him. He imdiately knelt and begged for rcy. "Spare my life..."
Ye Xiu ignored him and beckoned to Xu Jinghao. "Co here."
Xu Jinghao shuddered, forcing his trembling legs to move. He stumbled over and fell to his knees before Ye Xiu. "Don’t kill ! Please, don’t kill ! I have money, lots of money! I’ll give you however much you want, just please don’t kill ..."
"I... I have money too!" Wang Hongtao chid in. "I’ll give you all my money! What’s more, from now on, you’re my boss! I, Wang Hongtao, will follow you. If you tell to go east, I’ll never go west. From now on, I’ll be your loyal dog!"
"Shut up!" Ye Xiu glared at Wang Hongtao.
The glare alone made Wang Hongtao wet himself in terror. He felt as if he had just taken a step through the Ghost Gate.
"Xu Jinghao, your family’s Kangtai Pharmaceutical was sold to the Rongfu Consortium?" Ye Xiu asked.
"Yes, yes!" Xu Jinghao nodded repeatedly.
"What were the terms? Did the Rongfu Consortium acquire it fully, or did they just take a controlling stake?" Ye Xiu asked.
"A controlling stake. For instance, with our family’s Kangtai Pharmaceutical, the Rongfu Consortium only acquired fifty-one percent of the shares," Xu Jinghao explained.
"Has the contract been signed?" Ye Xiu asked.
"It’s being signed this afternoon," Xu Jinghao said.
Ye Xiu nodded.
