When Ye Xiu and Kuroki Suzu arrived at the Yalton Hotel, they found bodies strewn everywhere. The Sang Jing Ninja Warriors that Kuroki Suzu had brought with her were utterly annihilated, and An Dongye had long since disappeared.
Miyamoto Satoshi and the doctors from the Sang Jing dical research group were huddled in a corner of the lobby, their faces pale with terror, as if they had suffered an imnse shock. An Dongye really plays rough. She has promise! Ye Xiu clicked his tongue silently.
Kuroki Suzu grabbed Miyamoto Satoshi by the collar, lifting him as she angrily demanded, "Where is she?"
Miyamoto Satoshi seed to have just woken from a nightmare, stamring in fear, "Sh-sh-she... she’s gone. She... she told to pass on a ssage. She said there are too many scoundrels in the Sang Jing nation, and she’s more than happy to help reduce the population. She invites you to continue sending more people to Jin Ye City..."
An Dongye is so arrogant. Ye Xiu was speechless.
"Damn it!" Enraged, Kuroki Suzu threw Miyamoto Satoshi aside. Her face was contorted with anger. "This is a provocation! A blatant, contemptuous provocation against our nation’s Ninja Warriors!"
"That’s right, it’s a provocation. You can’t compromise. Hurry up and call for more people to co and kill her," Ye Xiu goaded.
Kuroki Suzu was so angry her nose was practically crooked. "You’re just enjoying the chaos from the sidelines."
"Can you really stomach this insult? If it were , I definitely couldn’t," Ye Xiu continued to prod.
Kuroki Suzu really couldn’t stomach the insult. Since its founding, the Tiansha Association had never suffered such a great loss or been so humiliated. However, I get the feeling this man with the la-sounding na is gloating, urging to call for reinforcents. He must have so ulterior motive.
She asked, "Are you in league with that woman with the black plastic bag over her head?"
"If I were with her, you’d be long dead," Ye Xiu said.
Kuroki Suzu thought about it and realized he was right. Although this guy is weaker than , he’s incredibly fast. Back on the soccer field, if he had stabbed with a knife instead of just slapping my butt, I would be dead by now.
"Which side are you really on?" Kuroki Suzu suddenly found she couldn’t grasp Ye Xiu’s position, so she asked bluntly, "If the Tiansha Association sends forces to retaliate against that woman, whose side will you be on?"
Ye Xiu thought for a mont. "I’ll be on the sidelines."
"So you won’t help either side?" Kuroki Suzu asked.
Ye Xiu nodded.
Kuroki Suzu breathed a sigh of relief. In Jin Ye City, this guy with the la-sounding na was the only one she was wary of. Since he chose to remain neutral, she could request reinforcents from Headquarters.
Just then, Ye Xiu looked at Miyamoto Satoshi and asked, "What about the hotel staff?"
"They were all herded into the restaurant," Miyamoto Satoshi said.
Ye Xiu felt a sense of relief. An Dongye does have so restraint after all; at least she didn’t kill indiscriminately. As for the slaughtered Ninja Warriors, they were dead either way. If An Dongye hadn’t killed them, I would have.
He then said to Kuroki Suzu, "You should find another hotel. I’ll take care of the aftermath here."
Of course, Kuroki Suzu knew they had to move. The hotel had beco a living hell and would inevitably attract the attention of the Jin Ye City Official Family. It was no longer appropriate for them to stay.
"Thanks!" Kuroki Suzu said, thinking Ye Xiu was helping her. She then told Miyamoto Satoshi and the others to pack their things, and they quickly relocated.
Ye Xiu chuckled to himself. I’m not helping Kuroki Suzu. A massacre has occurred at the hotel, and I have to handle it quickly to prevent the situation from escalating and causing panic among the citizens of Jin Ye City.
After Kuroki Suzu and her group left, a team of people arrived. They swiftly cleaned the scene and escorted all the staff away.
Ye Xiu called Gong Jin. "Do you know where An Dongye is?"
"She’s at a bun shop not far from the Yalton Hotel, buying buns," Gong Jin replied.
Ye Xiu was at a loss for words. Going to buy buns right after a killing spree... I have to hand it to her. "Send the location."
"Okay!"
After receiving the location, Ye Xiu glanced at his navigation. The bun shop was less than three hundred ters from the Yalton Hotel. When he found it, he imdiately spotted An Dongye sitting on the curb, munching on a bun.
"Little Bro?" An Dongye said, slightly startled. "Today’s a training day. What are you doing here?"
"Aren’t you skipping training too?" Ye Xiu replied with a smile, sitting down next to her.
"I went to training, but the supervising instructor dismissed our class." An Dongye offered him a bun. "Here, have one. It’s pork and green onion."
"I’m not hungry, you have it." Ye Xiu shook his head and asked, "I heard you were at Saint He dical School yesterday asking around for Ye Xiu’s ho address. Do you need to see him for sothing?"
Hearing this, An Dongye leaned in and whispered slyly, "Have you heard about the 200 million Gold Reward for Ye Xiu’s left arm?"
"I have," Ye Xiu nodded. "Are you after the reward too?"
"Nope." An Dongye shook her head. "I’m after the assassins who took the job. I was asking for Ye Xiu’s address so I could ambush them. I’ll tell you a secret: I was hiding on the mountain next to his neighborhood all last night and took out three of them."
"Why are you helping Ye Xiu?" Ye Xiu asked.
"Ye Xiu is a great benefactor, and his dical skills are incredible. It would be a sha if he died. I figured I’d help him wipe out all his enemies so he can just focus on being a good doctor." At this, An Dongye added a reminder, "Don’t you dare tell him, though. I don’t need his thanks. I’m the type to do good deeds without wanting any recognition."
"Alright." Ye Xiu nodded, looking at An Dongye intently. This girl’s eyes are clear, and she has a bright, straightforward personality. She’s a real straight shooter, so what she’s saying is probably true. Still, her vigilante style doesn’t quite fit the modern era!
"Let’s go, ti to head back to school," Ye Xiu said, getting up.
"Sure!" An Dongye stuffed the last bite of bun into her mouth, stood up, and stretched. "I’m dead tired. I’m going back to the dorm to catch up on sleep."
Ye Xiu was speechless.
The two of them hailed a taxi back to Saint He dical School. On the way, An Dongye fell asleep like a log. She was impossible to wake, her snores thundering loudly. Ye Xiu had no choice but to carry her back to her dormitory. The campus was full of students training, and the sight of Ye Xiu carrying An Dongye caused quite a stir wherever they went.
Fortunately, I’m wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a mask. If I had been recognized, my image as the dicine King would have been ruined.
After taking An Dongye back to her dorm, Ye Xiu went to the athletic field, sat in the stands, and watched the freshn train. He suddenly noticed sothing was wrong with the coaches.
What is going on? Where on earth did Ghost Doctor find a bunch of thugs to be coaches?
