Ye Tianming and Ye Shaokang were strolling around the small island where Ye Xiu’s family resided, looking like tourists. Qin Qing and Chloe followed behind them.
"What did you say?" Ye Tianming asked, looking at the furious Qin Qing in surprise. "You said Li Yan and his four n dug up the graves of Ye Xiu’s mother and maternal grandparents this morning?"
"Interesting," he mused. "I sent him and four Eighth Grade Grandmasters to negotiate with Ye Xiu, and he actually thought of using the ashes of Ye Xiu’s mother and grandparents as a bargaining chip. Have they already finished their negotiations?"
"They’re already dead!" Qin Qing said coldly. She had told him about Li Yan and the others desecrating the graves to confirm if Ye Tianming had ordered it. Apparently, he hadn’t. But this old scoundrel actually thinks what Li Yan and the others did was right. He deserves to die! If I could actually beat Ye Tianming, I would skin this old bastard alive myself.

He was genuinely curious. Claiming the dicine King title at sixteen and reaching the Great Grandmaster level by twenty-six definitely ant he had a famous master guiding him. And that master must still be alive; otherwise, there was no way Ye Xiu could have amassed such wealth in just ten years.
"I don’t know," Qin Qing replied flatly.
"You’re Ye Xiu’s wife; there’s no way you don’t know," Ye Tianming said with conviction, his voice turning into a cold threat. "Tell the truth, or I’ll make sure you never see his final monts."
"If you’re any kind of man, you’ll kill ," Qin Qing retorted coldly.
"Oh, quite the fiery temper!" Ye Tianming stopped and turned, staring coldly at Qin Qing. "Do you think I don’t dare to kill you?"
"If you don’t, you’re no better than a dog I raised," Qin Qing said, completely unafraid.
"You’re seeking death!" Ye Tianming roared, commanding, "Shaokang, I despise her mouth. Slap it until it’s ruined!"
"Alright!" Ye Shaokang raised his hand to strike Qin Qing.
Just then, Chloe stepped in front of Qin Qing, her voice laced with killing intent. "Ye Tianming, Ye Shaokang, your lives belong to the Young Master. Don’t force my hand."
"Who the hell do you think you are? Get lost!" Enraged at being threatened by a foreign woman, Ye Shaokang swung his palm at Chloe’s face, but she caught his wrist mid-air.
"Oh?" Ye Tianming and Ye Shaokang were both slightly taken aback.
"Well, what do you know. A re servant from the kid’s household is actually a Martial Artist," Ye Tianming said, eyeing Chloe with interest. "Shaokang, since she wants to die, send her on her way!"
"Alright!" Ye Shaokang nodded. However, when he tried to deliver a killing blow, he discovered he couldn’t move his right hand from Chloe’s grasp at all. This shocked him. "Dad, this woman is stronger than ."
"What?" Ye Tianming was stunned. "Your strength is near the top, even among Eighth Grade Grandmasters. This woman looks to be only twenty-two or twenty-three. Could her power possibly be at the Great Grandmaster level?"
"She’s definitely a Great Grandmaster," Ye Shaokang said. As much as he hated to admit that a young woman was stronger than him, it was the undeniable truth.
Qin Qing looked in disbelief at Chloe, who was shielding her. She never could have imagined Chloe’s strength was so terrifying.
"How is this possible!" Ye Tianming asked Chloe, incredulous. "How did you cultivate to the level of a Great Grandmaster at such a young age?"
"You’re not worthy of knowing," Chloe said disdainfully. She casually released Ye Shaokang’s wrist, took a tissue from her pocket, and wiped her hand as if it had been sullied by his touch.
"You dare to be so arrogant in front of , the War God? Do you have a death wish?" Ye Tianming asked coldly.
"If you have the ability to kill , then go ahead and try," Chloe retorted with contempt.
"You’re seeking death!" Ye Tianming roared with fury as he reached for Chloe’s neck.
"Stop!" an angry shout echoed suddenly.
Ye Tianming quickly retracted his hand and turned toward the sound, as did Qin Qing, Chloe, and Ye Shaokang. They saw a middle-aged foreign man with an icy expression walking toward them.
"Bister?" Ye Tianming exclaid upon recognizing the man. "What are you doing here?"
"Father!" Chloe said happily upon seeing Bister. "What brings you here?"
Father? Qin Qing was confused but impressed. She didn’t know who Bister was, so she only wondered why Chloe’s father would appear at this mont.
Ye Tianming and Ye Shaokang, however, were shocked. "You... you’re the daughter of the Hair Family?" Ye Tianming asked Chloe in astonishnt.
"Indeed," said Bister as he approached. "Chloe is my daughter, the most noble daughter of the Hair Family."
Ye Tianming and Ye Shaokang were completely stunned. The Hair Family was a titan in Youkeduo. Their wealth could rival a nation, their power was imnse, and they were also a family known for their Ancient Martial Arts Abilities. The Hair Family’s Purple Pupil Ability was feared throughout the global Ancient Martial Circle. Yet, the esteed daughter of the Hair Family was working as a maid in Ye Xiu’s household.
"Chloe, you..." Qin Qing was finally shocked speechless. She had heard of the Hair Family—the number one financial conglorate in Youkeduo. She couldn’t fathom why the daughter of such a colossal family would co to her house to be a maid.
"Ye Tianming, did I just see you try to strike my daughter?" Bister asked, glaring at him with undisguised killing intent.

"My daughter is an ordinary maid in Ye Xiu’s household," Bister declared with pride. "And for her, and for the entire Hair Family, that is the highest honor."
