The woman seed not to have noticed him, continuing her leisurely stroll forward.
"Why are you following ?" Ye Xiu asked, stepping in front of her.
The woman looked startled for a mont before a brilliant smile spread across her face. "Handso, are you talking to ?" Her smile was like a sunflower blooming in the midday sun, absolutely dazzling.
Ye Xiu glanced at his watch. "At the forty-five-minute, thirty-six-second mark, I was walking along the road when you passed by in a taxi. Then, at the thirty-seven-minute, nineteen-second-mark, I saw you again as I was coming out of a convenience store after buying cigarettes. At that ti, you had short black hair and were wearing a baseball cap, a mask, a white t-shirt, long jeans, and white sneakers. Afterward, I took a cab, and you tailed all the way to Longhu Tianjie, where you changed into your current outfit."
As he finished, Ye Xiu’s gaze sharpened, fixing on the woman as he asked in a cold voice, "Tell , why are you following ? Who sent you?"
The woman’s large, artfully made-up eyes widened in disbelief. "How did you do that? My tracking skills are top-notch, and I kept changing my appearance. I can’t believe you saw through it all."
"Cut the crap," Ye Xiu said coldly, annoyed that this nuisance had appeared just as he was starting to deal with the Shen Family. "Since you were following , you should know who I am. Answer honestly, or don’t bla for what happens next."
"There are so many people here," the woman taunted with a confident smile. "Do you really dare to lay a hand on ?"
Ye Xiu glanced around. The street was crowded. She was right; forcing an interrogation here would cause chaos and panic. "Fine. Then let’s find sowhere else to talk," he said.
He then threw an arm around the woman, intending to pull her sowhere more secluded, like a small grove.
However, she suddenly threw her arms around him and started screaming, "Help! Assault! He’s assaulting !"
She struggled in his arms as she yelled, and once she had drawn the gazes of passersby, she shoved Ye Xiu away with all her might and collapsed to the ground. Her porcelain-doll face, now pale as a sheet, was a mask of panic and distress, with tears welling up in her wide eyes.
What the hell... Ye Xiu was dumbfounded. Is this woman an actress? Her skills are incredible!
Bystanders began to stop one by one, forming a crowd around them.
"Miss, what’s wrong? Who’s harassing you?" a chivalrous young man asked, helping the woman to her feet.
The woman burst into tears, pointing a trembling finger at Ye Xiu. "It was him! He asked for my number, and when I refused, he... he got physical with ," she wailed.

The young man’s fist froze in mid-air. He tried to muster his courage several tis, but he couldn’t bring himself to follow through.
Ye Xiu laughed. He had guessed correctly. The young man and the woman were working together. They knew who he was, which was why he didn’t dare to actually hit him.
"I’m not falling for your trick," the young man said, extrely embarrassed. He quickly ca up with a new tactic and sneered, "Assault is illegal. You’re just trying to bait into hitting you so I’m the one who breaks the law. I’m not going to get arrested over scum like you."
The onlookers started shouting again.
"Why bother hitting him and dirtying your hands? Just call the authorities! Let the Patrol Officers take him away."
"Right, call them!"
"I’ll do it!" soone said, taking out their phone and dialing the ergency number.
The young man then goaded the crowd, "Everyone, take his picture! Post it online! Let the whole world see what this scum looks like!"
"Yeah, take his picture!"
"Let the netizens dox him!"
"Post his photo everywhere online so everyone can see it. We have to make sure no other girls beco his victims."
The crowd took out their phones. But just as they were about to take pictures, they saw Ye Xiu calmly put on a mask and flash a peace sign.
