As he spoke, he glared fiercely at his son, Jin Ming, as if to say, Who told you to invite this thug here?
I didn’t invite him! He just showed up! Jin Ming was so wronged he was on the verge of tears. Zhou Wenlong had co on his own. Not only had he failed to bring a birthday gift, but he also hadn’t even offered a single word of congratulations. To top it off, he had brought a dozen of his lackeys, clearly intending to freeload.

"Brother Long, Jin Peng is disrespecting you! We can’t let this stand."
"When has Brother Long ever been humiliated like this? Let’s go! Since Jin Peng is being shaless, there’s no need for Brother Long to give him any face."

The lackeys were fuming with righteous indignation. Jin Peng, Jin Lian, and the rest of the Jin Family grew anxious. Jin Peng’s eightieth birthday had already been full of twists and turns. He was about to flip a table when a shoe suddenly flew through the air and slapped him across the side of his face.

The scene stunned everyone into a montary silence. Then, they all began scanning the room, searching for Zhou Wenlong’s attacker.
"Huh? Where did my shoe go?"
Just then, a young man hopping on one foot entered their line of sight.
Seeing this person, Jin Lian couldn’t help but burst out laughing. The Jin family mbers and the guests who recognized Ye Xiu also started to laugh. Those who had never seen Ye Xiu before, however, were shocked, wondering if this kid had a death wish. How dare he sneak-attack Zhou Wenlong?
"Is this your shoe?" Zhou Wenlong asked, picking it up and glaring coldly at Ye Xiu.
"Oh, there it is," Ye Xiu said as he hopped over apologetically. "I’m so sorry. My shoe has developed a mind of its own lately. It’s quite mischievous and always running off."
"Hahahaha..."
Those in the crowd who knew Ye Xiu roared with laughter. They truly hadn’t expected the dignified dicine King Xuanse to have such a playful side.
"You’re fucking looking for death!" Zhou Wenlong was furious. He was already seething from Jin Peng’s disrespect, and now he had been hit with a shoe, only to be laughed at by the entire room. He was so enraged he nearly passed out. "Get him for !"
His dozen lackeys sward forward.
"You dare ambush Brother Long? I’ll fucking kill you!"
"You’ve pissed off the King of Hell himself today!"
"Break his shoeless leg!"
"Chop off the hand he used to throw that shoe!"
The thugs charged with vicious intent, but in the next mont, disaster struck them all. Ye Xiu sent them sprawling with a single backhanded slap for each of them.
Zhou Wenlong’s face drained of color. His towering rage instantly morphed into shock and apprehension, though not quite fear. The guests who didn’t know Ye Xiu were also astonished. They never expected the man who dared to ambush Zhou Wenlong to be such a highly skilled martial artist.
"Kid, I’m Zhou Wenlong. On Qingfeng Road’s turf, no one dares to provoke . You hit my n—do you have a death wish?" Zhou Wenlong announced his na, his voice a cold threat.
"Put my shoe on for , then kowtow ten tis to Old Master Jin to wish him a happy birthday. Do that, and you can walk out of here in one piece," Ye Xiu stated coldly.
"Ha! Kid, I thought I was arrogant, but you’re even crazier than . I fucking think you’re looking for—"
SLAP!
Ye Xiu’s slap cut off Zhou Wenlong’s words. The force of the blow was so great that it sent Zhou Wenlong’s stout body sprawling to the ground.
"Do as I say," Ye Xiu said, extending his foot toward Zhou Wenlong.
"You’re fucking courting death..." Having never suffered such humiliation, Zhou Wenlong beca enraged and tried to scramble to his feet to fight Ye Xiu.
CRACK!
Ye Xiu stomped on Zhou Wenlong’s ankle. With a sharp crack, the bone shattered.
"AAAGH..." Zhou Wenlong let out a scream like a stuck pig.
Everyone present gasped.
Ye Xiu is too ruthless! Too cruel!
"I’ll say this one last ti. Do as I say," Ye Xiu said impatiently.
"In your dreams! You just wait! If I don’t kill you, my na isn’t Zhou—" Zhou Wenlong remained defiant, roaring through the intense pain.

"I gave you a chance. You didn’t take it."
Ye Xiu raised his foot, aiming for Zhou Wenlong’s arm.
