At six o’clock in the evening, Ye Xiu finished his day’s work, declined Song Yushu’s invitation to dinner, and took a taxi to the Xu Family.
On the way, Mo Luo said, "Young Master, there’s a car following us. It’s being quite brazen, staying just a few ters from our taxi’s bumper."
Ye Xiu turned to look. Indeed, a black rcedes was tailing them closely, and the driver was none other than Jiao Fuping.

Inside the black rcedes, Jiao Fuping’s lips curled into the smile of a cat playing with a mouse. In Jiao Fuping’s mind, Ye Liangchen must be terrified, panicking and regretting ever having offended him.

Long Wu’s eyebrows shot up. Realizing Xu Zhiqiang wouldn’t listen, she hurried toward the mansion, intending to get Xu Zengshan to intervene.
Seeing this, Xu Zhiqiang ordered, "n, chop off Ye Liangchen’s damned hands for !" He was still seething about Ye Xiu choking him in the duty room of the Mingde Ancient dical Hall.

The others also looked at Ye Xiu with a mix of mockery and contempt. They looked down on this doctor, and none of them were willing to act, fearing it would dirty their hands.

"No problem," the man agreed readily. He pulled a dagger from behind his waist and prepared to strike.
"Wait!" Ye Xiu shouted, stopping him. He then called out, "Xu Zengshan, is this how you treat your guests? If you don’t co out and stop this now, I can’t guarantee what will happen next!"
This was a preemptive warning. If Xu Zengshan still refused to show himself, he couldn’t bla Ye Xiu for what was to co, even if it ant killing Pang Ze. Moreover, Ye Xiu was certain that Xu Zengshan would not appear.
As he expected, no voice ca from the mansion to stop the proceedings.
"Cut the crap! Pang Ze, get on with it," Xu Zhiqiang ordered impatiently.
"Yes, Young Master!" The man nad Pang Ze gripped his dagger and charged toward Ye Xiu.
The latter prepared to crush him.
"Stop!"
Just then, a thunderous shout echoed through the yard. Jiao Fuping rushed in at full speed and blocked Pang Ze.
At that mont, in a bedroom on the third floor of the mansion, Xu Zengshan, Long Xiaoyun, and Du Long were watching from a floor-to-ceiling window. Their original plan was to use Xu Zhiqiang to force Ye Liangchen into using Nangong Lie’s unique Traveling Dragon Sword Technique, which would confirm whether he was Nangong Lie’s disciple.
