Upon returning that night, Song Heping rushed to Hassan Oil Field without delay, seeking out the cook for a detailed discussion on how to kill the Free Army.

Having heard that Song Heping had reached an agreent with Avanti to cooperate in annihilating the Free Army organization, he expressed his concerns.

"Boss, this won't be easy to handle."

"What won't be easy? In what way?"

After stroking his chin and thinking for a mont, the cook said, "Look, we're currently handling the security contract for Country M's energy company's oil field, but the Aricans and Persians have always been sworn enemies.

If Avanti directly deploys two Special Forces battalions to work with us against the Free Army, the news is bound to leak, and we'll certainly be unable to clean up the ss."

"You make a valid point..."

Song Heping acknowledged the cook's concerns were very reasonable.

If the Persian Special Forces were involved in the operation, things would beco quite complicated.

After all, there are no walls in the world that can keep secrets forever.

Cooperating with Persians was indeed violating the Aricans' taboo.

Moreover, his Defense Company currently had two battalions of Illigo rcenaries. As the saying goes, the more people there are, the more talk there will be. Who knows which ill-intentioned fellow could leak the information, making it impossible to keep things completely secret.

His company was still taking orders from their oil fields. If word got out, let alone the Wood Energy Group, even Simon and Thomas would likely co knocking at the door to apprehend people, and then the Defense Company wouldn't be able to continue operating.

"It looks like we'll have to do this ourselves!" Song Heping said.

The cook nodded, "Exactly. I think we just need Avanti to provide us with the Free Army's stronghold intelligence. We can handle the rest ourselves. Although we're a bit short on manpower, we have plenty of ammunition, and rockets and mortars to boot. If we arrange our tactics well, taking down the Free Army's stronghold shouldn't be an issue."

"Alright, I'll handle the tactical arrangents, and I will have Avanti provide us with the intelligence as quickly as possible," Song Heping considered and said, "As for my eting with the Persians, very few people are aware. It's sufficient that our core internal team is inford. We must keep it confidential to outsiders."

The cook replied, "Don't worry, the core team is our own people. There won't be a problem."

After they parted ways, Song Heping imdiately rushed back to Cook Oil Field.

Since Song Heping had night vision goggles, he drove at night without lights.

It was a habit.

It had to do with the training he had received.

Unexpectedly, this small good habit enabled Cook Oil Field to avoid an attack.

About 6 kiloters from Cook Oil Field, Song Heping could see two vehicles hundreds of ters ahead from afar.

Upon closer inspection, they were trucks.

Song Heping imdiately stopped his SUV, then carefully drove behind a dune. He opened the door, grabbed his gun, and ran up the dune before taking out his binoculars to observe the two vehicles.

In the middle of the night, in these desolate wilds, why would there be two vehicles?

Through the binoculars, Song Heping clearly made out the outline of the two vehicles.

What he saw gave him quite the shock.

They were trucks, loaded with Katyusha Launchers!

Good grief!

No need to ask further.

One look and he knew these belonged to an ard organization.

Considering the direction the trucks were facing, they were undoubtedly heading for the oil field.

This damn...

Not even letting people rest easy in the middle of the night, planning so mischief!

The two trucks seed to have just arrived and hadn't started launching yet. A few people were moving around the vehicles, preparing for launch.

He imdiately took out his satellite phone and called Hunter.

Hunter was currently in the Cook Oil Field Area.

"Boss, have you arrived?"

"Yes, just outside the oil field, about 6 kiloters away."

"Is your car broken down?"

The first thing Hunter thought of was that Song Heping's car had broken down; otherwise, why would he call so close to the oil field?

"We have visitors outside our oil field," Song Heping said. "Head to the western high ground of the oil field now and take a look as quickly as possible. If I'm not mistaken, there are ard militants lurking outside. There are two Katyusha Launchers 6 kiloters away, likely prepping to bombard before attacking."

"What?! I'm on it!"

Hunter was instantly on high alert.

"Keep the call going, I didn't bring a personal radio this ti out. We'll communicate via cell phone. After I take down those two vehicles, you'll be my spotter and provide with the coordinates of those dumbasses outside the oil field trying to sneak attack us!"

"No problem!"

Song Heping heard the sound of vehicles starting over the phone.

It appeared that Hunter had already gotten into the vehicle and headed directly to the west side of the oil field.

He stuffed his phone into the pocket of his tactical vest and then fitted a silencer onto his MK18 assault rifle, moving towards the rear of the two vehicles.

Next to the two Katyusha Launchers, a minor leader of the Free Army was directing his subordinates.

"Hurry up, move faster! Didn't you guys eat dinner tonight?!"

"Be careful! Mind the fuses, don't knock them!"

A Free Army soldier complained, "Boss, can we turn on the vehicle lights? It's dangerous working in the dark."

He looked up at the sky.

It was cloudy now, and the clouds were obscuring the moon.

The minor leader spat on the ground, cursing, "What's with all the crap? If you don't speed it up, you'll delay the attack. Wait till the platoon leader gets a hold of you!"

Suddenly, the walkie-talkie in his hand crackled twice, then soone asked, "Are the Katyusha rocket launchers ready? Can they fire yet?"

Clearly, this was the minor leader's superior.

He quickly picked up the walkie-talkie to respond, "Platoon leader, we need ten more minutes. It'll be ready soon."

"You said the sa thing a mont ago! Omaha, it's just loading rockets, not sending you to space in a rocket. Is it that difficult?! If you delay my attack plan, I'll treat you to peanuts!"

"Yes yes yes, platoon leader, I'm pushing them. It'll be ready shortly."

"Hurry up, and report to when it's done!"

After the conversation ended, the minor leader once again urged the five soldiers working.

"Move it, move it! Did you hear what the platoon leader said? If we delay the attack, he's going to treat to peanuts, but before that, I'll treat you first!"

No sooner had his words fallen than a soft "click" was heard nearby. The minor leader's skull was blown open by a bullet, and he fell to the ground, instantly lifeless.

The Free Army soldiers carrying ammunition under the vehicle heard the noise and turned to look this way.

Upon seeing what happened, they scread in alarm.

But with their arms full of rocket projectiles, they had to bend down to set down these deadly things first.

This delay caused a continual "click-click" sound all around them.

Several fell to the ground, one after another.

Song Heping, from a hole about a dozen ters away, poked out half his body, aid his rifle, observed for a while, then slowly approached the two Katyusha Launchers.

Circling around to the driver's side, he saw a guy with his legs on the dashboard, slumped in the seat, snoring loudly.

Song Heping went over, grabbed his clothes, and yanked him out of the vehicle.

The driver hit the ground hard, dazed for a mont, not understanding what had happened. He tried to get up to curse, but...

Click—

Soon, a bullet made him completely silent.

After cleaning out the inside and outside of both vehicles, Song Heping returned to check the Katyusha Launchers.

One of the vehicles was fully loaded and ready to fire.

The other was still missing two rockets.

Song Heping took out his phone and asked, "Hunter, have you spotted the people outside the oil field?"

"Still searching… I've climbed the tower, using night vision to look… They must be hiding too far away, can't see clearly… wait..."

Atop the oil field tower, Hunter finally saw a moving spot in his Night Vision Goggles.

About 400 ters outside the oil field.

It was a moving single soldier.

Certainly, it was a Vanguard coming in for close reconnaissance.

"I see their Vanguard, but not the main force."

Song Heping, miles away, pondered for a mont before responding, "Don't rush, keep an eye on them. Let know when the main force starts to move and exactly where they are."

After speaking, Song Heping began to adjust the firing data, aiming at the open area just outside the western side of the oil field.

As soon as Hunter saw the Free Army's main force, he was going to give them a taste of the Katyusha feast, to their heart's content.
