The tent of the command center was brightly lit, with only the faint sound of electrical current from the radio and the sound of Song Heping's fingers tapping on the table.
Spread out in front of him were intelligence summaries, and the screen flickered with a map of Northern Illiguo.

The soldiers roughly pushed Abu You out of the room, into a non-branded off-road vehicle.
The vehicle did not head towards the command post or any place resembling an interrogation room, but directly drove out of the camp, heading toward the dark, desolate Gobi Desert.
The cold wind hit his face, Abu You's heart sank to the bottom.
He knew they planned to execute him in the wild, disguising it as an escape or enemy ambush.
Despair and anger burned like wildfire in his chest.

Outside the camp, at a vantage point hidden in the darkness, the sniper of Sand Fox Squad, concealed behind rocks, clearly saw everything through the high-powered thermal imaging scope.
