Now reading: Chapter 1444 - 1201: from Mercenaries, I Will Be King, a Action novel by Yan Qi Guan.

Almost gritting teeth, harsh enough to cut through ears.

The omission of nas felt more like a declaration of disdain and drawing a line.

Song Heping was unfazed by this, having long expected it to be so.

He t Jas' murderous gaze, and very slightly nodded, the gesture so small it was like a faint twitch of neck muscles.

No words, no expression, but that complete and superior disregard was more damaging than any direct rebuke.

He walked straight to his seat, pulled out the chair, and sat down.

The movent was smooth and natural, as if the tense scene had never occurred.

The "Hunter" silently stood by the wall behind him, like a quiet shadow, but his eyes never left Major Jas and the US Army officers beside him.

Colonel Kote's eyes flickered with a trace of helplessness but quickly masked over.

He cleared his throat and resud his seat, his gaze sweeping over all present and the representatives on the screen: "Ladies and gentlen, now that everyone is here, let's begin. The main purpose of this eting is to finalize the details and tiline of Operation 'Furnace.' Mr. Song is the principal planner and executor of the ground offensive for this operation, and now he will introduce the specific deploynt."

All eyes returned to Song Heping.

Song Heping did not bother with pleasantries, imdiately stood up, and walked to the massive electronic tactical map.

He picked up the stylus, and the screen instantly lit up, presenting a precise military map with lines and symbols in different colors indicating enemy and friendly positions, offensive axes, and key points.

"Based on the consensus reached in Elbil and preparations over the past few days—"

His English was so flawless it nearly lacked any accent, "I declare Operation 'Furnace' officially initiated."

The stylus swept across the map, a conspicuous red arrow extending from Sulaimaniyah City.

"Seven days later, at 4:30 a.m. local ti, the eastern offensive will first comnce, advancing in two directions."

His tone left no room for doubt.

"I will directly command the Sulaimaniyah direction, under which are two elite rcenary camps drawn from Africa by the 'Musician' Defense Company, the main force of the Liberation Forces guerrillas, and the Abu You Brigade, totaling about five thousand troops. The mission is to move south from Sulaimaniyah, the primary strategic target—"

The tip of the pen heavily tapped on the location of Daguk Town.

"To conquer Daguk! It is a crucial cornerstone of the eastern defense line held by the 1515 Ard; capturing it opens the gateway to the south."

The red arrow continued unwaveringly moving south, pointing to another key town.

"After taking Daguk, proceed without pause, leveraging the elent of surprise to pursue the fight, the ultimate goal—Titrick!"

The pen circled around Titrick, similar to locking a target in crosshairs.

"Seizing Titrick will completely sever the connection between 1515 Ard in the Ozham region and places like Mosul in the west, achieving strategic segntation!"

He paused montarily for the attendees to fully digest the information before his gaze shifted to the Illigo Army Commander, General Sayif.

"The other direction is led by General Sayif commanding the Illigo Army's 9th Armored Division and two other chanized divisions..."

Song Heping continued, "Your task is to launch a powerful feint and diversionary attack on positions around Ozham to the west of Baghdad simultaneously as I move south. You need to create a scenario of a main battle to maximize distraction and pin the attention of Ozham's defenders, creating an opportunity for my troops to advance south."

General Sayif looked at the symbol representing Ozham's fortress on the map, his brows furrowed tightly, tapping his thick fingers on the tabletop but ultimately not voicing any objections.

He understood that his troops' assault capabilities were far inferior to those experienced rcenaries and guerrillas, and although the diversionary task was equally dangerous, it was more realistic.

He responded solemnly, "Rest assured, we will complete our mission."

Song Heping's gaze turned to the Russian representative on the large screen.

"Western and abroad, Brigadier General Niezov."

The stylus jumped to the region of Eastern Siria.

"After combat ignites towards Ozham, the Russian Army and the Silia Governnt Army must initiate the planned large-scale strategic counteroffensive in Eastern Siria, particularly from Deir Ezzor to Raqqa, within 48 hours. I need you to firmly hold and deter the main forces of the 1515 Ard stationed within Cilia, preventing them from crossing the border to reinforce the Illigo battlefield."

On the screen, Brigadier General Niezov replied to the microphone with English tinted by a heavy Russian accent, "The Russian Air Force, Special Forces, Wagner rcenaries, and Silia Governnt Army ground forces have assembled as planned and will launch on schedule. Coordinates and timing will sync through the agreed channels."

"The North, Mr. Avanti."

Song Heping's pen tip moved to the mountainous areas near the Persian Border in Northern Illigo.

"Persian side and allied forces' southward offensive's timing is set for when my southern force conquers Daguk and confirms the attack toward Titrick. Your task is to capitalize on the mountainous terrain, move swiftly south, maximally disrupting the 1515 Ard's defensive systems and command nodes in the northern region, clearing their scattered strongholds, and capturing high-value targets."

Avanti in the video, still donned in a simple traditional robe, maintained a deep gaze.

He made no extra movents, only slightly nodded towards the cara, concise: "Understood. Holy City Brigade and allied forces are in position."
