The raid had turned into a brutal alley fight.
In the first minute after the gunfire started, the mbers of the Salafi Ard Organization were bewildered.
Many were even killed in their sleep by hand grenades thrown through the door, or confusingly rushed out of their rooms only to be shot dead by the "Musician" defense rcenaries ambushed outside.
After one minute, most who hadn't died
Only one or two raid teams because of the individual combat quality issues, were not swift enough, leading to the raid evolving into a lee, like teams 5 and 6.
Any team that got into a lee inevitably paid the price, team 5 had it relatively easy with only one injury, but team 6 was in a severe condition.
They were in charge of a courtyard, originally based on information provided by the thin man, there were only about a dozen people inside, so Song Heping had allocated only two local Illiguo rcenaries to team 6.
Thinking that the dozen people would not be too much to handle, and they were all deep in sleep at night, as long as they shot the sentry outside dead, charged in, and threw a few hand grenades into the rooms, although they might not kill everyone inside, at least it would put them in a state of shock for at least one minute.
One minute was very generous for close-quarters combat, enough to sweep a room back and forth twice.
Unexpectedly, Song Heping had overestimated his local rcenaries, perhaps due to nervousness, one of the rcenaries responsible for shooting the sentry failed to kill him with one shot, causing the seriously wounded sentry to retaliate, injuring him as well.
This slight mishap prevented them from reaching the room door in ti to throw grenades, and the Salafi militants sleeping inside sward out, instead killing both of them right away.
The person Song Heping had knocked down was one of the militants who had escaped.
Having just killed a militant with a knife, and the gun raised, Song Heping reattached the silencer to his MK18.
In this environnt, using a silencer was extrely effective; it made it hard for the enemy to detect and difficult to figure out the location quickly.
Just as he fitted the silencer and continued to advance while searching, two militants appeared in front of him.
These two jumped out from behind the corner of the courtyard, facing Song Heping directly.
They were less than six ters apart.
At such close range, it's about who draws faster!
Since Song Heping had maintained a ready-to-fire position pointing forward, he could shoot imdiately as soon as the enemy appeared in front of the barrel.
The two militants were at a disadvantage because they were running with their guns, pointing them at the ground.
Tat tat tat tat tat tat—
At this mont, Song Heping didn't bother with precise short bursts, he just sprayed and took both n down.
Rapid firing, the essence is absolute speed!
Accuracy is another matter!
Even if it's not accurate, it can still shock the opponent, gaining a split second to counterattack.
This was the first principle given by the instructor during the first lesson of reactive shooting that Song Heping attended.
"White Bear, Hunter, Disaster Star, how are things on your side?"
"We've got the situation under control here."
"Damn, quickly co to team 6's location, there's trouble, I'm on the south side, you guys cut in from other directions, coordinate the attack!"
"No problem, on my way!"
White Bear's response was very prompt.
After ending the call, Song Heping slowly moved forward along the wall.
He was at a disadvantage now.
He couldn't recklessly charge and shoot anymore.
After all, there was no one to cover him from behind.
In single combat, especially in urban combat, the biggest fear is having no one to cover your rear.
If it were two people collaborating, they could watch each other's backs.
But alone, one could handle the front but not the back.
He looked around and decided to climb to the rooftop of the building opposite.
Only by taking the high ground could he get a clear view of the surroundings.
The courtyard that team 6 was responsible for was completely out of control now; looking at the situation, it was estimated that the militants had already charged out of the courtyard, but where exactly they went was unclear.
Having a night vision device was an advantage, as it allowed him to see the environnt clearly.
Going upstairs was the best choice, to avoid wandering around in these interconnected alleys and possibly being ambushed by an enemy from behind, even soone as tough as himself could get injured.
However, he heard yells of panic coming from behind the wall he was next to.
Clearly, inside the walled yard was the courtyard team 6 was supposed to raid, likely occupied by militants.
He took out a hand grenade, pulled the safety pin, paused for two seconds with it in his hand, then threw it into the courtyard, imdiately squatting down against the wall.
The hand grenade exploded about three ters above the ground.
Even through the courtyard wall, Song Heping could hear the shrapnel whistling into the soil.
Then hears soone inside screaming and yelling.
He rushed to the next building and entered.
Just as he entered, he saw a man crouched at the side of the building, dressed in a robe.
At first glance, the attire suggested a local.
But Song Heping saw the gun in his hand.
It was an AK47 assault rifle.
The man also saw Song Heping.
Actually, the individual was just the hoowner.
It's common for locals to have guns in Illiguo.
Song Heping seed to realize that this person was not a militant.
At least not by appearance.
But his gun was already aid at the man.
The man had intended to raise his weapon to shoot, but unfortunately, Song Heping was quicker and had already aid at him first.
