They usually avoid wearing conspicuous official military uniforms to not beco a target for ard militants. They prefer low-visibility tactical gear to reduce recognition and enhance concealnt in crowds and urban environnts, such as monochro tactical clothing, tactical vests, etc.
If soone saw a rcenary in full US Army camouflage on the streets of Illiguo, everyone would definitely think he had lost his mind!
It would be no different than wearing a tag on his forehead that says "shoot ."
So, most rcenaries usually wore sunglasses with a monochromatic T-shirt and tactical pants with, at most, a tactical vest on.
Regarding tactical vests, they wouldn't choose sothing like a JPC, which is exclusively for real Special Forces and is also extrely expensive.
Often, rcenaries would opt for a Black Hawk AK chest hang, a more ordinary and durable tactical accessory, and many low-paid rcenaries would just wear a harness similar to a type 56 ammo belt and go straight to work.
As for firearms, most rcenaries working in Illiguo wouldn't foolishly buy M4A1 assault rifles, nor would they spend a fortune on a full set of tactical equipnt that made their gun as conspicuous as a Christmas tree.
The reason is that cheap AKMs, many of which are new and of decent quality from Romania or other Eastern European regions, are readily available in Illiguo, and adding a dovetail mount with a white light scope is not impractical.
They definitely wouldn't fill it like in the movies with things like AN/PEQ15 laser designators, which are silly, expensive gadgets used by the foolishly rich White Eagle from the US to direct missiles for bombers from the sky. Could a poor PMC casually call for aerial support to direct missiles at targets?
No.
Not even close.
If one doesn't prefer the Soviet-made AKM assault rifle, there are plenty of German-made G3 assault rifles available for purchase.
Although the G3 is a bit heavy, its quality and accuracy are first-class, only slightly more expensive than the AKM assault rifle.
Despite the seemingly high monthly wages of around ten to twenty thousand US Dollars for rcenaries in large companies, most of these highly paid rcenaries co from the United States and Britain, and they are not here because they love to fight but because they have families, kids, or a pile of bills to pay back ho.
Spending an entire salary on an M4A1 assault rifle and its full set of tactical accessories isn't enough, not to ntion many are low-inco freelance rcenaries who don't earn nearly as much as those working for companies like Black Water and Sparta.
There are still rcenaries willing to use M4A1 assault rifles like so core operation squads of Black Water Company. Most of these n carry out high-difficulty, well-compensated, covert operations, and occasionally operate alongside US Special Forces, so they find it convenient to use the mainstream US Army M4A1 for its ammunition compatibility.
During combat, logistics is a very, very important factor to consider.
