Box after box was stamped with yellow English letters—M72 LAW.
A whole truck of M72 rocket launchers!
Song Heping really liked this thing; he had used it before in Illiguo.
Although Soviet-made RPGs were very well-known, for Song Heping, the M72 was more suitable for the operational needs of small Special Forces units.
First of all, this thing was extrely light, with a total weight of only 2.5 kilograms.
Next, it was very short; when carried, it asured 63 centiters in length, less than two feet.
A rifleman could carry one without it affecting normal combat operations, and carrying 2-3 when necessary wasn't a problem either.
The reason why Song Heping thought the M72 was more suitable for special operations was due to its ammunition carrying mode.
The live rounds were usually loaded inside the launcher, and when needed, the firing device was pulled out, going from one section to two.
Then, you would set up the aiming device, aim at the target, and fire.
The entire operation process was very simple.
Unlike RPG launchers, which at least required two people to cooperate, one to shoot and one to carry the ammunition.
The M72 was a one-ti use item; you could shoot and then run.
The launch tube was made of fiberglass reinforced resin, cheap to produce, and could be discarded after use.
Finally, it also perford well in terms of accuracy.
It had a hit rate of over 50% for a 2×2 static tank target at 200 ters and for slow-moving tank targets within 165 ters.
Initially, Song Heping wanted to give the last three undetonated trucks of arms to Morins as a favor.
But now, he had changed his mind.
The other truck was filled with rifles and machine guns, and a smattering of mortars—those things didn't interest Song Heping.
But these M72 rocket launchers, such a large batch, at least two hundred of them, would be enough for his own use for quite a while.
"Anthony, contact Morins imdiately, set up a rendezvous point, and take this truckload of arms back as a graduation gift for you guys."
As he spoke, he pointed to the truck full of M72 rocket launchers behind him.
"I'm keeping this truck."
Anthony wasn't a fool; just one look at the truck full of M72 rocket launchers, and he knew they were valuable. He relentlessly asked, "Principal, can we also take this truck? We are really lacking in anti-tank weapons!"
Song Heping rolled his eyes and gave his student a glare, "Don't talk nonsense! Your boss just bought the first batch of arms from , which included a hundred and fifty RPG launchers. How could you be lacking anti-tank weapons? The power of this thing is similar to RPGs."
But Anthony said, "But the M72 is more portable."
"Portable? Who do you think you are?" Song Heping always had a reason not to lack what he set his eyes on. "Portable, but this thing is one-ti use. Do you know why so many guerrillas around the world like to buy RPGs instead of using M72s? Because you throw it away after using it, you can't reload. You throw away the launch tube and have to spend money to buy a new one. RPGs are different; you can just change the rocket and fire again. They're durable and robust. You are a guerrilla, an ard organization, not a small Special Forces unit. Do you understand? These aren't suitable for you!"
Anthony was left dumbfounded by Song Heping's retort.
He knew full well he couldn't win arguing with the principal, so he changed his tone, "Principal, how about you give us ten, just ten? We have reconnaissance squads too."
Song Heping didn't want to argue with Anthony here; after all, ti was life.
Although the ambush had been very successful, it was unknown if the convoy had sent out a distress signal when they were attacked. If they had sent a distress signal, reinforcents should already be on their way.
"All right, all right, I won't fight with you!" Song Heping said impatiently, waving his hand. "Hurry and take ten, just take them and get lost! Disappear from my sight imdiately, and we'll each go our own way."
Anthony called two people over to take the rocket launchers and then asked Song Heping, "Principal, does this an we've graduated?"
Song Heping, who was annoyed at having given away ten M72 rocket launchers, said, "Actually, it ans you haven't qualified. What? Wasn't it who suggested this combat plan? Take a look at the plan you guys ca up with. With your approach, I estimate you'd have at least a dozen casualties by now."
Anthony smirked and said, "If we don't pass, should we go back to school and study with you for another month?"
By this ti, Anthony had understood.
Following the old man, he could learn so real skills.
He was completely in awe of Song Heping's military talents, realizing he had been a pigheaded fool compared to the school principal.
"No!"
Song Heping hastened to refuse when he heard that Anthony and his n might return to study with him, "You don't have ti left. Take a look at these weapons. Do you see any problems?"
Anthony said, "Suddenly supporting the AUC with so many Arican equipnts, I think they're definitely planning sothing big soon."
"Good student!"
Song Heping was very satisfied with the answer.
"Hurry back to your units, organize surveillance and defenses, and keep a watch on the movents of the nearby AUC ard forces. I estimate that the battle will start within a month. After it's over, if you're still alive, you're welco to co back and study at the school."
In the end, he didn't forget to add one more thing.
"The tuition fee will have to be recalculated. No dodging it, pay up before coming to study."
"No problem!" said Anthony. "If we win this ti, I won't even have to ntion it; the boss will send more key mbers to study with you. As for the tuition, once we truly defeat the AUC, money won't be an issue."
That was indeed the harsh truth.
If the ACU forces were defeated, the ELN would beco the second largest ard organization in Colombia.
Their strength and territory could more than double.
All of the drug cartels, oil companies, and the like within the country would have to pay tribute to Morins.
Would money still be an issue then?
Of course not!
Song Heping was now betting on Morins.
As long as he could build up Morins, he would beco a living advertisent.
Soon, Anthony's n took away ten launchers, and without further pleasantries, Anthony saluted his principal and instructor, said goodbye, and then he and his n disappeared into the darkness.
Song Heping and Jiang Feng drove a truck loaded with M72 launchers toward the border, contacting Seras on the way to arrange a rendezvous at the frontier.
At three in the early morning, Song Heping returned to his military academy, took a bath, and then called Henry in Illiguo to co online.
"Boss, what's the ergency?"
Upon receiving the call, Henry imdiately realized that it must be sothing serious.
After all, it was still the middle of the night in South Arica.
"Henry, I need you to gather so intelligence on Colombia for . The AUC forces seem to be brewing sothing big recently, their arms trade is very active. See if you can get so intel through your network, especially any movents against the ELN forces, and call as soon as you get the information."
"No problem, I have contacts with intelligence brokers in South Arica; they should be able to help ."
After finishing his response, Henry asked, "Aren't you training students? Why are you interested in Colombia's affairs now?"
Song Heping shut him up with a single statent: "Henry, don't ask what you shouldn't, don't need to know what you don't need to know."
Henry broke into a cold sweat upon hearing this.
The statent was both a reminder and a warning.
"Alright, boss. I'm on it."
