Captain Wilson understood Song Heping's aning.

Continuing to wait was not impossible, but it would waste too much ti.

Now, ti was of the essence.

After all, Shorty and his crew had definitely taken to the tunnels, and no one knew how long it would be before they would leave here and escape successfully.

They had to find the tunnel entrance before the enemies slipped away and send people in to capture them; otherwise, today's operation would certainly end in failure.

The armored car quickly returned to the vicinity of the main gate, turned on the loudspeaker, and began to blare out calls for surrender.

"Those inside, listen up, if you don't co out you will burn to death! Co out and surrender promptly; this is your only way out! If you don't want to die, surrender!"

Lao Mo's Spanish was wickedly fast, babbling like a song when heard.

After repeating several tis, Song Heping indeed saw people rushing out from the flas in the main building.

"Don't be quick to shoot; make sure they are the ones surrendering."

Seeing people erge, the Marines on the armored car started shouting again.

"Drop your weapons, put your hands on your head, get down, get down! Don't move! If you don't want to die, don't play any tricks!"

From the first Sinoloa Group mber who ca out to surrender, the dominoes began to fall.

One...

Two...

Three...

A group...

Even Song Heping was dumbstruck watching.

More than forty people had actually surged out from within.

Damn, there were so many people hidden inside.

After coming out, these people all threw their weapons aside as instructed and lay down on the ground with their hands on their heads.

The armored car kept moving forward, driving all the way to the front of the building, and the 12.7mm Lao Ganma on the roof started banging away, wildly strafing the building.

After a while of strafing,

Indeed, a few more ran out.

But these few did not lay down their weapons.

They appeared to be the die-hard mbers of the drug cartel, holding their guns and spraying bullets wildly at the armored car and the woods.

"Go to hell!"

They were completely oblivious to death as if they were on drugs.

Of course, the assault team mbers quickly fulfilled their wishes.

Bullets from different directions riddled the few with bullet holes like a hornet's nest.

The assault team mbers slowly advanced, began to move the weapons to the side, and so went up to search those surrendering drug cartel mbers to ensure they weren't hiding any explosives or such on their bodies for mischief.

Song Heping quickly climbed up from the stinking ditch, holding a gun as he charged into the side door of the H-shaped building.

He suspected that the underground passage entrance might be here.

As soon as he entered the door, the scene in front of him also gave Song Heping a headache.

A wave of heat hit him in the face, and the dazzling firelight forced Song Heping to retract back onto the dried squid rail.

At the entrance hall of the back door, the room had been blown up by half!

In front of Song Heping was a pile of raging fire, but this didn't faze him, as after all, fire endurance training is often a resilience training conducted in the PLA Special Forces.

He lowered his head and sped through the fire.

Behind the fire was a long corridor; Song Heping imdiately pressed against the wall, holding his MK18 assault rifle level, and through the red dot sight, he began to move forward slowly.

When he reached a guard room, Song Heping stopped. He noticed that the interior was divided by wooden planks, probably influenced by Arican-style construction, which made extensive use of wood inside.

At least for Song Heping right now, this was not good news; it ant these places would quickly beco seas of fire, and he had to leave quickly, or else he would beco a roast pig.

He pressed the comms key to start contacting Wilson.

"Captain Wilson, this is Song. What's your location?"

"We've entered the area in front of the H-shaped building, which is, the row of buildings ahead. Look for an entrance to a passage in the building complex to your left. We'll handle the row of rooms in front," Wilson quickly responds.

Since the mansion belongs to Joaquin, a notorious drug lord, it certainly must have more than one hideout. The last ti I saw them they were running southwest. Now the mansion is surrounded, there's no way they can get away on the ground. There must be a secret passage for escape.

Southwest, that's exactly where I am.

Walking further inside the room, the heat seems to lessen.

The fire here isn't fierce. It seems the incendiary grenade didn't hit here directly, and the flas haven't spread this far.

The priority now is to find Balrot. I can ignore the others, but Balrot is the contract target.

Without capturing him, my 50 million US Dollars will go down the drain.

He turns to look behind. Several Marines are following him.

Song Heping wanted to get in touch with Wilson, to tell him to move closer to his position, as the entrance might be on this side.

"Wilson..."

Click—

Just as he starts to speak, Song Heping suddenly hears a faint noise from the shadows.

This friction sound is definitely not the sound of an assault rifle's safety being switched off—it's a completely different sound.

In Song Heping's audio mory, sothing clicks, but it's sothing he definitely doesn't want to see here—an RPG!

The sound is of a shaped-charge warhead being slid into the launch tube. The rocket's aluminum tail fins, like springs, will fan out upon launch. As they're inserted into the tube, they make a slight noise.

SHIT!

Soone's actually using a rocket launcher indoors!?

This outrageous act defies the operating procedures!

The massive backblast would reflect off the walls and engulf the operator as well.

Song Heping instinctively drops to the ground.

Just as he does, the wall less than three ters ahead of him explodes!

Bang!

Splintered wood and chunks of cent fly in all directions like steel pellets from a shotgun. If Song Heping hadn't dropped to the ground in ti, even with a bulletproof vest and a helt, he would likely have been blinded or severely injured.

After hitting the ground, Song Heping imdiately rolls over, pointing his gun towards where the enemy might appear.

Sure enough, a Sinoloa mber bursts out, holding an M16 assault rifle. Without hesitation, Song Heping mows him down, then gets up and moves to the side of the door.

Dust fills the corridor, limiting the line of sight significantly. Instead of barging in, Song Heping pulls out a shock bomb, quickly pulls the pin, and throws it into the room.

Before setting off, Song Heping had anticipated that he might need to enter rooms and tunnels for combat, so he brought plenty of these instrunts, using them generously.

Following the muffled explosion, Song Heping quickly charges into the room.

The room is surprisingly large.

Three Sinoloa mbers, disoriented by the blast, wander the room like headless flies.

In an instant, Song Heping sees there are no hostages in the room. He raises his rifle and takes them all down with three bursts.

He kicks away their weapons. One of them is a rifleman, and the other two are rocket launcher operators. RPGs could be fired here because the opposite side of the room isn't a wall, but a floor-to-ceiling glass window, already shattered by the blast.

The spaciousness of the room probably once served as an entertainnt area, which allowed the RPG rockets enough distance to disengage their safety and explode.

Noise suddenly cos from the right side—Song Heping imdiately turns his gun towards it.

It's a door within the room, slightly ajar.

Song Heping shoots through the door with two short bursts, then hears the sound of a body hitting the floor.

He quickly rushes in with his gun ready to finish off any survivors.

But contrary to his wishes, as soon as he enters, a large shadow erges from the side, charging and slamming Song Heping towards the opposite wall, finally crashing against it.

Since they're too close, Song Heping's MK18 assault rifle is rendered useless; he can't raise it to aim at the opponent.

He imdiately reaches for the Glock pistol at his right waist but the enemy grabs his wrist and pins it against the wall.

Now, Song Heping finally sees the enemy clearly.

This guy is a head taller than Song Heping, with well-defined muscles. His arms are a full circle thicker than Song Heping's, making him look like a live silverback gorilla!

Fuck!

I've encountered a tough adversary!
