The editor suddenly notified of the launch, which is tomorrow at noon, twelve o'clock.
Write a launch speech?
It seems to be the norm.
Since that's the case, I'll go with the flow.
At the end of 2012, I resigned from the system, started writing in 2014, and it has just been ten years now.
Why write books?
As a child, I was good at writing essays, and naively, not knowing how hard life could be, I bragged to my teacher that I wanted to beco a writer.
A person must have dreams, right?
After resigning and having so free ti, I thought I might as well write.
And just like that, ten years have passed.
How many decades does one have in life?
Not many, indeed!
I kept failing, I kept writing.
Occasionally, I would rember that saying by Zhong Zheng – fight and fail, fail and fight again.
Initially, I wrote about the military and was fortunate to receive support from a group of readers who liked military thes. From my very first military book to the present, they have stuck with through thick and thin. I've t many of them offline, shared drinks, and they've beco real friends.
Regardless of the results, I've already profited greatly in this respect.
My books, as my readers say, are valued for their "authenticity," but perhaps are lacking in exciting elents.
This is their way of encouraging .
If put in a less flattering way, that's called being "outdated."
Just like a reader in the discussion area said, what era is this, and there are still people writing rcenary stories?
I've been a soldier, I am familiar with the military.
I wouldn't even know what else to write if not this.
But change leads to success, and people must seek change.
I too must learn, I too must progress.
Maybe in the future, I will write sothing else, but that ti is not now.
This book has, to a degree, not strayed from my previous style. The content is too tough, to the point where a friend suggested that my use of professional jargon was excessive, it's incomprehensible to non-military enthusiasts, and I focused too much on the team instead of highlighting the heroism of the protagonist, leading to diocre results.
I admit it.
My skills were not sufficient.
I can only seek change in my next book.
This book, I still have to write it seriously.
But my books have one characteristic, they are slow burners.
In the end, many readers are ultimately satisfied.
So, if you're looking at this book, or if you are already reading it, please be patient and continue.
Of course, this makes seem too full of myself again.
These days, everyone is busy, caught in the rat race, where ti is money, and no one has the right to demand others waste their ti on them – after all, I don't have that much clout... (laughs)
It's going live tomorrow at noon.
I'd like to ask all the readers who are following this book to support it with a subscription. I, Baron, thank you here in advance.
Lastly, I want to thank the friends who have supported over the years: Book Man, Old Wu, Old Dao, Niuwa, Old Bao, Autumn Wind, Little Fat, Old Zheng, Lazy Cat 11, Huihui, Lao Mi, Qing Qian, Pentastar, Old Zhuang, JH, Big Bunny, Baron, Star far away in Malaysia, Little Tangyuan, and so on – there are too many to na individually.
I also want to thank the new ally, Sister Veela, who affird my old book "Special Years" and went out of her way to reward as the leader of the alliance.
What could make more grateful than soone who spends their hard-earned money to read and even tip my book?
Last but not least, I want to say thank you to all the friends who have supported and subscribed to my books.
Having you by my side on this journey has been my greatest honor!
