In less than twenty minutes, Song Heping lost the largest source of business inco in Illigory.

The oil field security contract, the military transport contract, these two were the largest sources of inco for "Musician" Defense in the Eastern Z region.

That is to say, three months from now, he would have nothing left in Illigo.

The local rcenary force of more than five hundred people established there would also face the crisis of disbandnt.

Once these two important sources of inco were gone, maintaining this force of five hundred rcenaries would beco nothing but a burden.

Such a ruthless move!

Song Heping now had to admit that the "Elder Council" Niki ntioned was indeed incomparable to any opponent he had encountered before.

In just a few days' ti, they had managed to turn both Wood Energy Group and the Pentagon against him.

Just the power behind this was no less formidable than that of the CIA.

The CIA couldn't command the military, yet these people did it with ease.

Song Heping felt imnse pressure.

He imdiately called Ferrari.

"Ferrari, have you returned to Illigo?"

"Just got back to the company! Sothing has happened here."

The urgency in Ferrari's voice was palpable.

"I know, I've already received several calls, from Henry, from Wood Group, and also our old friend Peter in the military."

"That's right, I heard about it the mont I got off the plane," Ferrari said. "Song, it seems soone has made a move against us, and it's definitely related to your action in Ba Country. You had Henry looking into the 'Elder Council', I bet they know about it."

"It was only a matter of ti."

Facing the crisis, Song Heping beca calm instead.

"If they didn't stir trouble, I'd have to be on guard against them every day. Now that they have taken action, it's good for us. It's hard to find the identities in a secret society, but if they act, they will expose their flaws."

Ferrari said, "We only have three months. After three months, our inco in Illigo, apart from arms dealing, will be almost completely cut off."

"There won't be any inco from arms either," Song Heping said. "If they're cutting off our contracts with the military, do you think we'll still be able to get arms from the supply side?"

"FUCK! We give the military so much money under the table every year, so much to the Illigo Governnt's Material Managent Committee; do they not fear us turning against them?"

Ferrari said, "Worst cos to worst, we go down fighting."

Song Heping said, "I'm calling you to discuss this matter. I suspect a lot of things will happen soon, and they'll all be targeting . If anything happens to , you must take control of the company's affairs. If there's trouble, follow the plan I've discussed with you before, understand?"

"Understood," Ferrari said. "I'll start implenting the plan right away and get prepared."

"Good, I'm calling you to get you ntally prepared. The company may face a series of difficulties in the short term, and whether we can survive depends on us. For now, our inco from xico is very substantial; we have enough funds to maintain the company's operations, so we aren't worried about money at the mont. What we need to do is to follow our previous financial operations model, you must back up all the data, and hand it over to soone you trust. In case sothing happens to , and sothing happens to you, we still need soone to carry out the plan."

"No problem, I've thought it all through. Our core mbers are trustworthy, having been through thick and thin together. I will make several backups and have them leave Illigo, to avoid being wiped out in one swoop."

"Let White Bear and Queen take a break and go back to Russia, and by the way, get in touch with the Chef; he's doing quite well there at the mont. If we really need protection in the future, he can help."

"Okay, I'll arrange it."

Another round of calls ended.

All afternoon, Song Heping was busy contacting various parties and starting to deploy his plan.

He believed that the "Elder Council" wouldn't stop at these three moves.

What big move they were planning next, he had to have a ntal contingency, so he could respond calmly if a major incident really happened.

What was most important now was to find out the identities of the people inside the "Elder Council" – who exactly they were.

However, Henry hadn't found anything yet - they could only wait.

As Song Heping was deploying his ergency plan, in a private club in New York City, Ms. Kelly, the director of the Secret Action Departnt, erged from the underground parking garage and, under the protection of her personal agents, entered the club. Then she took the private elevator to the top floor.

As soon as she exited the elevator, bodyguards approached to indicate that a security check was necessary.

Ms. Kelly looked sowhat unwell, and the agents by her side had already stepped forward to stop the bodyguard: "Stay away from our lady."

"Everyone must go through a security check to enter, no exceptions."

The bodyguard completely ignored the power of the CIA and stood his ground.

"Toby, Ms. Kelly is an old friend I trust. Let her in, please."

Suddenly, Mr. Campbell's voice ca through the speakers in the hallway.

The bodyguard nodded and then gestured to Ms. Kelly, "This way, ma'am."

Then he stopped the agents who wanted to follow.

"You are not on the guest list, please wait in the lounge over there."

Several agents were clearly struggling to contain their anger.

As CIA agents, although they have no power to act dostically, they have never been ignored like this before.

These private guards, each more bullish than the last, had an air of arrogance about them.

Ms. Kelly turned to the agents about to lose their cool and said, "You guys wait over there, I'll go in by myself."

"Yes, ma'am."

The agents had no choice but to hold back their frustration and head towards the lounge.

Ms. Kelly followed the bodyguard through the long corridor.

The decoration of the corridor was simple yet exuded a sense of luxury.

The whole corridor was not only wide, but also had a built-in flower bed in the middle, where various potted plants and flowers were planted. As it was made to order, the top of the corridor had a translucent design that could be opened to allow sunlight to shine through directly onto the plants, providing sunlight. When not needed, the curtain could be closed to beco a starry sky ceiling.

Finally, Ms. Kelly arrived at a huge door. The bodyguard knocked gently, and Mr. Campbell's voice ca from inside.

"Co in."

The bodyguard pushed open the door, stepped aside, and Ms. Kelly walked in.

This was actually a huge study.

In the center of the study was a large globe.

Mr. Campbell, however, stood beside the globe in a pair of pajamas, staring absent-mindedly at the geographical patterns carved on it.

"Ms. Kelly."

Seeing Ms. Kelly co in, Mr. Campbell's gaze shifted from the globe to her.

He stepped forward, took one of Ms. Kelly's hands, and gently perford a hand-kissing greeting.

"Welco to my private club."

"I've heard about your club being the most low-profile and luxurious in New York; seeing is believing."

Ms. Kelly surveyed her surroundings.

In front of her were tall bookshelves on three sides, requiring a ladder to access the books on the higher shelves.

The floor was covered with expensive Persian cashre carpets, and all the furniture and decorations were wooden antique pieces. On the large desk lay an ivory-carved pen holder with pens made of white gold and gold.

One wall was adorned with various animal head specins, from lions to elks, everything was present. Below the wall were sofas styled after the 17th-century British Royal Court. Although they appeared to have seen years, they were very well-maintained.

In such a place, every inch seed steeped in historical sedint, showing that the owner deliberately chose this decorating style to showcase the historical heritage behind him, displaying the power from centuries-old traditions.

Mr. Campbell invited Ms. Kelly to sit down on a sofa, then picked up a small bell from the desk and gave it a gentle shake.

Shortly after, a servant erged from a side door with two cups of coffee and so cookies, gently placing them on the table.

"I tend to eat less at night, just a bit of coffee and so cookies. I hope you don't mind."

"Of course not, I'm here for business." Ms. Kelly picked up the coffee and got straight to the point: "I know why Mr. Campbell invited , so let us have an open and frank discussion about Song Heping."
