Now reading: Chapter 716 - 657: I'm Laying My Cards on the Table from Mercenaries, I Will Be King, a Action novel by Yan Qi Guan.

From the dwarf's tone, Song Heping heard the answer.

If the dwarf did not wish to fall out with the CIA, then he would definitely not have asked the following question—"What do you want to do?"

Since he asked, it ans that he was not afraid at all.

"I plan to secure so benefits for you."

When Song Heping said this, he couldn't help but laugh himself.

It was he who had taken the CIA's orders to consolidate the drug market in xico.

But now, it was he who spoke of opposing the CIA.

It indeed sounded ridiculous.

But what's the problem?

No problem!

Tis have changed.

In the underworld of rcenaries, relationships are always changing.

If one day the dwarf stabs him in the back, Song Heping wouldn't be surprised.

"If you cooperate with this ti, your supply of goods in Colombia will be doubled in the future, but only for your Sinoloa Group, think about it."

Song Heping threw out his offer.

The dwarf on the other end hesitated.

He couldn't figure out what Song Heping ant by this.

Isn't this guy with the CIA?

Why is he suddenly opposing the CIA?

Is this a trap for himself?

The dwarf's worries and suspicions were not unfounded.

However, the purity and quality of the goods from Colombia were extrely high.

Much better than those from xico.

In terms of natural versus synthetic drugs, Colombia's quality far exceeds that of xico.

xico mainly manufactures chemical drugs, with price as the advantage, but synthetics can never match up to the naturals.

The consur group for natural products are wealthy individuals.

Wealthy people don't mind spending an extra thousand US dollars to buy so high-quality stuff.

Whereas low-end synthetic products may have a large market and strong addictive properties, the profit margin is not as high as for natural products.

As a drug lord, the dwarf was very clear about this.

Song Heping has a lot of influence in the circle of anti-governnt ard forces in Colombia.

The dwarf was aware of this.

Offending him, the basic source of goods would cut off eighty percent.

Interests.

What was circling in the dwarf's mind was interests.

He was tinkering with his own little calculations.

Which was greater, the cost of betraying the CIA or the gain from siding with Song Heping?

"This matter..."

He spoke ambiguously, pacing back and forth in his room, circling the table with the phone in hand.

The scales of interest swayed back and forth in his mind, leaving the dwarf unable to make the quickest judgnt for a while.

"I need to think about it..."

Song Heping couldn't help but sneer: "Dwarf, stop pretending. Why did you band together several families against the CIA back in the day? Wasn't it because it was uncomfortable being squeezed by the neck? I'm giving you the chance now to sit at the table in the future and negotiate with the CIA face to face, but there is no such thing as a free lunch. If you want higher profits, then show the most sincerity."

The dwarf was still hesitating.

His hand holding the phone was already sweating, wet and clammy.

Song Heping taking the initiative to knock on his door, was it an opportunity or a trap?

The dwarf had a lot of respect for Song Heping.

This man was definitely capable.

You could entrust him with tasks, absolutely dependable.

It's just that this ti, it was opposing the CIA, and that was no joke.

Once the CIA is thoroughly enraged, the risks I face will multiply.

"I am very sincere, but as you know, the CIA is no ordinary force. If they get annoyed, I won't be able to get away with it."

"Do you think you'll be safe just by surrendering? Dream on!"

Song Heping laughed heartily, fully mocking the dwarf.

"Let tell you sothing else, right now in the drug trafficking circles of xico, several major groups like yours are being watched, including the people currently in control of your transportation network - it's not , it's the CIA."

"What did you say?!"

When it was said that the transportation channels were under CIA control, the dwarf broke out in cold sweat.

"Haven't you realized? I am ordered to consolidate you guys, but the key positions are still controlled by CIA agents, such as..."

He stopped talking here, purposely whetting the dwarf's appetite.

As expected, the dwarf was very anxious, and blurted out subconsciously: "Such as what?!"

With this response, he had already lost.

Of course, the dwarf also realized the problem.

The least desirable thing in negotiations is to be led by soone else's pace.

Since the call was made, Song Heping has always maintained the initiative.

It's as if this guy didn't co for help, but to give orders.

"For instance, the person who took over the Balot Organization, he is a CIA undercover agent. You might even know him. He's been in xico for six years, just got plastic surgery. If you're willing, I can send you his file to see who he really is."

"Are you talking about Barrett?!"

The dwarf's eyes almost fell to the floor.

He never expected that the person currently controlling xico's underground drug transportation channels, the one who dismantled Balrot, was actually a CIA undercover agent?!

WTF!

This is insanity!

"That's right, it's Barrett."

Song Heping didn't deny it at all.

Taking the risk of leaving Barrett in play was now finally paying off.

He was of course aware of the thods the Sinoloa Drug Lords used to clear out traitors.

But at this point, this piece on the board was tradeable.

"The CIA placed him by my side because they don't trust , and at the sa ti, they want to slowly infiltrate each group with their own undercover agents, gradually taking over all your distribution and transportation channels. Once the CIA's plan is fully in place, you'll likely lack the power to resist in the future, unless all you old Drug Lords die and a new group takes over—I wouldn't mind seeing that day co. Just not sure if you'd like to see your own pathetic end."

Song Heping's words hit the dwarf right where it hurt.

Cold sweat broke out from his spine, and the hairs on his face stood on end.

If what Song Heping said wasn't an exaggeration, with Barrett's current expansion speed, he really could control the entire Sinoloa drug market in the future.

Naturally, unless there's a major overhaul as Song Heping ntioned.

But once a major overhaul happened, he would be the old blood that's being replaced.

And that's a price, the dwarf wasn't willing to pay.

"Son of a bitch!"

He cursed: "I knew there was sothing off about how earnestly that guy was working for you. Turns out he wasn't doing it for you at all; he's a goddamn CIA operative..."

"Got it now?"

Song Heping asked.

Grinding his teeth, the dwarf replied: "I got it, but you have to guarantee to keep your promise!"

Song Heping snorted coldly: "Don't you know my reputation after dealing with for so long?"

Speaking of credit, the dwarf had no choice but to give a thumbs up.

"Of course, I trust you."

After a pause, he continued, "Alright, just tell what you need to do to cooperate with you."

"First, capture Barrett, then execute him,"

Song Heping said it very matter-of-factly.

As if discussing an easy ho renovation project.

"Once you have him, you can deal with him however you like, as long as it's in line with your traditions. But I have one request—the bigger the commotion, the better."

"Don't worry," the dwarf chuckled: "I know what to do."
