"Nobody move, if you don't want to die put your hands up, let see your hands..."
Song Heping started shouting as he approached from the front.
He had to remind the two agents in the car not to look for trouble and not to gamble with their lives.
Hawkins and Jodi sat in the car, faces full of hesitation.
Resist?
Or not to resist?
After exchanging glances several tis, Jodi whispered, "There's another team behind us."
Hawkins looked in the rear-view mirror and could faintly see figures moving.
With an ambush from both front and rear and a sniper hidden sowhere further away.
After weighing his options, Hawkins decided to give up resisting.
"Don't shoot! We surrender."
Song Heping couldn't help but smile, the corners of his mouth turning up.
One thing about Aricans is that they never gamble with their lives.
Arican agents are premium hostages.
Soon, two groups of people approached the vehicle from front and back.
Disaster Star stepped forward, pulled Jodi out from the passenger-side and pressed him heavily down onto the dirt road.
Jodi's arms were twisted behind his back by the iron-like grip of Disaster Star, and he grimaced in pain, unable to help crying out.
Seeing him cry out, Disaster Star habitually pressed his face directly into the dirt and placed a knee on his neck.
This was a classic move to subdue soone.
But it was risky, as it could suffocate the target.
However, it was very effective.
Jodi imdiately stopped grimacing, because as soon as he did, his mouth would fill with sand.
Soon, Hawkins was dragged out from the other side by Jiang Feng, while Collins and Klein pulled out pre-prepared zip ties and bound him.
"We're Aricans!"
Hawkins began to protest.
He threw out his identity as an Arican first.
Even though here, being an Arican could be a disadvantage, even life-threatening.
But Hawkins, an agent after all, could tell at a glance that these masked n were not just so local militia.
The re presence of the HK416 assault rifle in Song Heping's hands was not sothing those terrorists could afford or attain.
He even suspected it was a case of mistaken identity by a US Special Forces team on a mission.
"Which departnt are you from?! ISA? Or the CIA?!"
Hawkins had just been pulled up from the ground and was impatient to guess the other party's identity.
Song Heping stepped forward, reached Hawkins, and slowly pulled off his camouflaged face scarf to reveal his true face.
By this ti, the dawn had begun to break, and the dim light cast a distinct outline upon Song Heping's face.
"Haven't you all been looking for ? Mobilizing a great effort to find and kill all night, and you still ask who I am?"
Hawkins's eyes widened at the sight of the Asian face, and his complexion turned pale in an instant.
"Song... Song Heping..."
Indeed.
He would have never imagined that the person standing before him was precisely the target he had recently been assigned to focus on.
The sa person they had planned to eliminate with the large-scale I5I5 assault tonight.
But he quickly realized he had said too much and clamd up promptly.
"That's right, it is I. It seems you know of , and I haven't got the wrong person either--you're Hawkins, correct?"
"You know who we are?" Hawkins grew even paler.
Because this ant Song Heping knew everything.
Of course, last night's large-scale estimated attack, and even the connection with the I5I5 organization, were included.
You should know, covertly supporting I5I5 is a secret of the Secret Action Departnt.
Song Heping actually knows?!
Hawkins felt a sudden urge to urinate in his pants.
"Take them all, withdraw!"
With a wave of his hand, Song Heping issued his command crisply.
Minutes later, only a lonely, oil-leaking pickup with its tires blown out was left burning fiercely on the dirt road. Besides that, there was nothing left—not even the spent shell casings on the ground; Song Heping and his team had picked up everything, leaving no trace.
"Let's start now."
Sitting in the bed of the pickup truck, Song Heping, unconcerned with the bumpy ride, began speaking to Klein: "I want to get all the intelligence from both of them right away—where Baghdadi is hiding, where their troops are, the cooperation with the I5I5 organization, and who gave the order targeting ."
"Boss, we can't interrogate here."
Klein looked around.
"This is delicate work; we need to find a place for it."
Song Heping asked, "I didn't see you bring any tools, isn't direct interrogation enough?"
Klein patted his tactical vest: "I've got a small bag here, it's enough."
Song Heping looked around and then patted the roof of the cab, saying, "Disaster Star, find a wind-sheltered hiding spot ahead for Klein to work."
"No problem, I'll stop when I see one."
Disaster Star replied promptly.
The conversation between them made Hawkins and Jody, lying in the bed of the truck, shiver to their cores.
The aning of the dialogue was too clear.
They were going to torture both him and Jody.
Just thinking about this made Hawkins break out in more sweat on his forehead.
It wasn't long before Disaster Star slowly stopped the pickup truck inside a forest, with the pickup driven by Jiang Feng following behind.
Once both vehicles stopped, everyone got out.
Right after getting off, Song Heping imdiately said to Klein, "They're in your hands now, handle it yourself, but be quick, we must return to the south before it gets completely light."
"No problem, very fast, even the toughest agents can't last twenty minutes."
Klein was confident, taking out his small bag from his tactical vest, which contained his "tools of trade."
"Give a hand, Disaster Star, Collins, carry them over to that grassland."
He called over two brothers to help him carry the n over.
Song Heping had no interest in watching Klein's interrogation techniques, but took out a bag and placed it on the bed of the truck, standing by and searching through it.
The bag belonged to Hawkins and his cohort, taken from their vehicle, including everything searched from the bodies of the two agents; it was all here.
A look through it might yield so new discoveries.
Inside the bag were so snacks, a miniature computer, an external hard drive, a satellite phone, a miniature communication headset, and other items.
All standard agent equipnt, nothing special.
Song Heping powered up the computer to check it out, seeing a Microsoft system, but he believed there must be a hidden system.
However, with no equipnt to decrypt it here, they would have to turn it over to Collins and Henry to see if they could crack it.
After rummaging through for a while, they all seed like ordinary items.
So Song Heping simply turned the bag upside down with a shake, dumping everything out.
"Eh?"
All the items scattered on the truck bed floor, and after checking them again, there were still no special discoveries.
"Why is there nothing?"
He found it strange.
It seed they would have to go back and decrypt the computer.
He began repacking the items one by one.
Suddenly, his hand stopped, and his eyes lit up.
