Langley, CIA Headquarters.
A spy quickly ran towards Pence's office with a report in hand.
"SIR, sothing has happened."
"What happened?"
Pence looked up, seeing the anxious expression on his subordinate's face. His eyebrow slightly twitched, feeling unsettled.
He had a premonition.
The briefing in his subordinate's hand was definitely related to Song Heping.
"There's so trouble in Africa."
As expected.
The subordinate's answer confird everything.
"What kind of trouble?" Pence extended his hand, "Let see the report."
The subordinate hurriedly handed over the report.
Pence took it and looked down to read, as the subordinate continued to report.
"According to the latest UN news, the hospital in Kodok Town was attacked by unknown ard personnel. Several dical staff were killed on the scene, and there are bodies of several ard personnel holding UN credentials left there. They are currently verifying the identities of these people. I suspect these people are from the 'Satan' regint."
"It should be…"
Pence felt a tightness in his chest.
Things have beco a bit troubleso now.
The 'Satan' regint sent people to Sudan to hunt Song Heping, and I knew about it. I even provided them with intelligence and logistical support.
Including the forged docunts, they are actually linked to us.
If the squad hunting Song Heping ends up being wiped out, the UN Peacekeeping Forces will definitely notice sothing fishy.
I don't have the power to cover up even the UN's field reports.
This is a bit tricky…
"Alright, I've seen the report. You're on standby for now. Cut off contact with the 'Satan' regint until I handle this."
"Understood."
After the subordinate left, Pence picked up the phone on his desk and dialed Campbell.
"Damn it! Song Heping escaped again! He even took out your n. What did you say back then? You said you were certain you could take down this guy?!"
As soon as he spoke, he began to question aggressively.
"This has blown up, and it could potentially implicate !"
On the other end of the line, Campbell scoffed: "Pence, look how panicked you are. Aren't you just worried about your own involvent? Don't worry, I'll personally handle this matter, and leave the UN to ."
"Alright then…"
Seeing Campbell give his word, Pence finally breathed a sigh of relief.
The "Elder Council" has substantial influence; if they want to handle this, they should have a way.
Although these old magnates are equally untrustworthy.
But right now, I still have value, so they probably won't betray .
Thinking of this, he felt slightly at ease.
"What do you plan to do about Song Heping next?"
"It seems we've underestimated him ti and again. Pence, relying on just us, it will be difficult to kill him in Africa. Your CIA should also co up with a plan. I refuse to believe that with you CIA, Mossad, and our combined forces, we can't take down a nobody!"
"Hmph!"
Pence snorted coldly: "Song Heping is not a nobody anymore. We've listed him on the KB list, and it's having so unexpected effects…"
"What effects?"
"Analysis shows that many ard group leaders now want to side with him…"
"FUCK!"
Campbell swore.
"How did it co to this!"
Regarding Song Heping's idea, Ferrari and others found it quite crazy.
Now on our side, we have just over ten people. Among them, Ferrari and Henry are both in clerical roles, so their combat power isn't top-notch.
Is this small group going to take down Damao?
Isn't this madness?
The opponent is a local warlord, at the very least a leader of an ard organization, claiming to have a regint. Even with so exaggeration, they must have over a thousand people.
More than ten against a thousand?
We've never fought such a crazy battle.
"Even with the weapons from the helicopter, it's tough taking on more than a thousand…"
Ferrari looked troubled.
"Song, your idea is too insane."
"It's not insane."
Song Heping pulled out a map and spread it out.
"Previously, we didn't encounter Damao's forces, which ans he wasn't with Charles. Since they're not together, according to my analysis, he was probably encircling us from another direction through the swamp. Now that Charles is dead, I assu Damao's forces must be returning to their original camp. In this process, their troops won't be concentrated but rather scattered in batches. How many troops are by his side? A company? A battalion?"
Song Heping tapped the map with his finger.
"If it's a battalion, we'll coordinate with the helicopter for an aerial assault, and with our team on a ground raid, once we spot Damao, let Queen and Hunter snipe him. There's a high chance of taking him out."
Ferrari still frowned after hearing this.
"The risks are still high."
"In our line of work, which venture doesn't involve risks?"
Song Heping said: "In tactical planning, hesitation ans missing the mont. Thinking too much will cost opportunities."
Ferrari looked at those around: "What do you think?"
Jiang Feng was the first to reply: "I trust my old squad leader, he never misses."
Hunter nodded: "Hmm, I think it's worth a shot. With long-range sniping, squad assault, and aerial support, even if we can't win, can't we still run? Without villagers holding us back, at our pace, ard militants can't catch up."
Others expressed their agreent.
"No problem."
"Fight, as Boss said, to establish ourselves here, we have to raise our banner. If we're attacked and don't fight back, slinking away, who will ever respect us?"
"Exactly, just do it! If you're afraid of death, don't do this job!"
"I also support fighting! I haven't been in a battle for a long ti, enough was not had earlier, you were in the hospital, my wife and I only took down one outside, too few."
Among all the agreents, Antonov, White Bear, and other Da Maozi were most excited.
These guys, having stayed in Russia for a while, spent their days hunting without wars, they'd long been driven bored.
They initially thought getting entangled with the CIA and Mossad would frighten Song Heping into hiding.
Unexpectedly, Song Heping didn't flinch but chose to stand his ground.
Finally, sothing to do.
"Don't get too excited."
Song Heping, seeing everyone getting pumped up, instantly doused spirits.
"This is just my preliminary plan. Now the most essential issue remains unsolved."
"What issue?"
Ferrari curiously asked.
Song Heping pointed to the map: "Can anyone tell where exactly is Damao right now?"
Only then everyone realized this crucial question.
Right.
Where's Damao?
The Machar Swamp Zone is vast; where could this guy be?
Without any intelligence support now, there's simply no way to obtain the latest information, let alone pinpoint Damao's location.
"Do you have a plan?"
Ferrari looked at Song Heping.
"Have you any solution and are just teasing us?"
As far as he was concerned, Song Heping had done this many tis, revealing cards at the last mont.
All eyes were now on Song Heping.
