119: Chapter 118 Fart Fire 119: Chapter 118 Fart Fire Li Jinfang spoke in a low voice, but Harris still heard him; surprisingly, Harris was not angry.

“It seems you’re quite confident,” Harris said.

“I believe what Big Dog has said about you.

He said you’re really good, so you must be.

But it’s rare to encounter a worthy opponent, so I’d still like to spar with you.

Since you’re willing to promise that you won’t take my life, I’m much more at ease.”

Harris, who was usually quite proud, suddenly lowered his posture, surprising everyone present.

Glolov looked at Harris with a face full of astonishnt, hardly able to believe his ears.

“Am I hearing things?

Since when did Fart Fire beco so easy to talk to?”

“Do I look like an idiot to you?

You said this guy took out eight of Scimitar’s n with his bare hands, then he definitely did it.

I would never dare think I could do that.

And please, could you stop calling Fart Fire?

No one knows that na now, and I don’t want to be embarrassed, so please don’t ever ntion that na again, especially in front of my n, or I might just turn hostile.”

“Alright, big guy, I promise not to tell anyone you’re called Fart Fire.”

Harris, with a resigned expression on his face, ignored Glolov and addressed Li Jinfang: “Let’s have a bout after dinner today when it’s not so hot, and try to avoid injuring each other, what do you say?”

Li Jinfang hesitated: “That…

The major just now said, without a mission and permission, we can’t leave this room.

Are you sure it’s okay?”

“Ha, that idiot, don’t worry about him.

He’s only responsible for delivering ssages and doesn’t care if you want to stay in this stifling little room.

As long as you don’t leave this position, you can do whatever you want.”

After hearing Harris’s words, Li Jinfang looked at Gao Yang, and after Gao Yang nodded, Li Jinfang imdiately said, “No problem.

Just call during dinner.”

Harris nodded in satisfaction and said, “Alright, it’s settled then.

Now let tell you so rules you must follow: first, never leave this area unless you have permission from that idiot of a major; otherwise, the soldiers outside will shoot you.

Second, absolutely do not approach that building—try it, and you’re guaranteed to be turned into a hornet’s nest.

Those are all the rules we need to follow, nothing more.”

Gao Yang said in a deep voice, “So we just have to wait here?

Whether we get paid or not, I don’t want to just stay here.”

Harris rubbed his head in frustration and said, “Everyone understands the situation here.

Just yesterday, there was a bomb dropped very close by, and the opposition will definitely target this place.

There’s nothing we can do; we have no way to leave.

All we can do is pray that Gaddafi cos and lets us escort him out.

Otherwise, we have to wait for that idiot major’s order before we can leave.

The only good news is that we will get our money on ti.”

Gao Yang wasn’t concerned about whether he could make money now.

He was thrown onto this powder keg at the Azzizia Barracks for no apparent reason; unable to leave, all the money in the world wouldn’t matter if he had no life to enjoy it with.

After pondering for a while, Gao Yang spoke gravely: “I always feel that Gaddafi has no reason to abandon us here.

Perhaps he really is using this place as a backup refuge.

Maybe he will co here at so point, stay a couple of days, and then leave.

That’s the most reasonable explanation I can think of.”

Pointing to the soldiers outside, Harris said, “Look at those n, they’re all from Sirte, from Gaddafi’s hotown.

Their greatest strength is their loyalty to Gaddafi.

These are Gaddafi’s true loyal forces; even when all the other units defected to the opposition, these people would fight to the death for Gaddafi.

So I think Gaddafi won’t abandon them that easily.

If we see them leaving, then we must hurry to leave as well, but if they don’t move, we just have to wait here foolishly.”

After speaking, Harris shrugged and said, “What I an to say is, don’t bother trying to figure out what Gaddafi is thinking, because he’s just plain crazy.

What you need to focus on is watching these guys outside, not pondering the thoughts of a madman.”

Gao Yang picked up the satellite phone, glanced at it, and sighed: “No wonder no one took our satellite phones from us, because they don’t need to; we can’t make contact with the outside world.”

Laughing, Harris said, “Of course.

There are more signal jamrs here than people.

Not just satellite phones—you can forget about using any wireless communication devices.”

After finishing his words, Harris looked at his watch and said, “Alright, guys, I need to get back to gambling.

If you’re interested, feel free to join in.

Big Dog, are you ga?”

“No interest, I never gamble.”

“Okay then, hope you have a pleasant afternoon.

If you find the ti dragging with nothing to do, give a shout, and I’ll send over so decks of cards.

We brought quite a few this ti, that was my one wise decision.

Also, don’t forget the appointnt this afternoon.

See you, guys.”

Once Harris had left, Cui Bo complained bitterly, “Fuck, I’ve been ignored, gracefully ignored at that.

Ram, Toad, the machine-gunner Big Dog, he ntioned them all, damn it, everyone but , fuck!”

“Brother Yang’s sniping skills are legendary; even the Coleman guys treat him like an ancestor.

The Old Russian, the Machine Gun Artist, goes without saying.

Though I’m not much myself, I’ve got a couple of good moves in hand-to-hand combat, and I made a na for myself in that battle against the cowards with scimitars.

What have you done?

If you want to get noticed, haha, you better practice a bit more.”

After Lee Jinfang finished his smug declaration, Cui Bo seethed with even greater resentnt, punching the bed he was sitting on and growling, “Soday, I’ll make sure everyone knows my na!”

“You an the na Cui Bo?”

Stabbed by Gao Yang’s tily quip, Cui Bo froze, then flopped back onto the bed with a long sigh, “It’s over for in this lifeti, my real na can’t even be spoken.

Even if I get famous, what’s the point?

My life’s ruined, all thanks to my damn na.”

Too busy to care for Cui Bo’s overwhelming sadness, Gao Yang addressed Glolov, “So that’s the situation.

For now, we can only stay here and deal with things as they co.

Since there’s no pressing matter, let’s talk about your friend.

Toad’s going to have a go at him later, and what I want to know most right now is why you call that big guy Fart Fire?”

With a smirk on his face, Glolov explained, “Do you know that farts are mostly composed of thane, along with gases like oxygen and hydrogen, which can be ignited and even cause explosions?”

Gao nodded, “I do, what about it?”

“We didn’t know that before, especially not Harris the idiot.

Long story short, in Sierra Leone, we were surrounded on a mountain with no food, everyone was scavenging for anything edible, Harris ate so plant that made him fart non-stop, then soone told him farts were flammable, so he decided to verify it.

Unfortunately, the fart he chose to experint with was a bit too substantial.

After a burst of fla, boom, to put it elegantly, the gases he had yet to expel exploded at the end of his intestine, and then, haha, sorry, let get my laughter out, then, Harris couldn’t walk until he left Sierra Leone.

You get what I’m saying?”

Even Cui Bo, preoccupied with his own tragic fate, couldn’t help but offer a lecherous comnt after hearing Glolov’s story, “His asshole blew up into a flower?

Man, that must’ve been painfully unbearable, might as well have been dead.”

“Exactly, and that’s what Harris thought too.

He even tried to go that route but luckily survived.

After his rear was blown to bits, in order to save his life, our dic had to stitch up his entire sphincter and take away all his weapons.

Harris lost his combat abilities like that.

After the war ended, he was half-dead when sent to a big hospital to have the stitches removed and undergo surgery, then he lay in bed for two months.

Thus, the nickna Fart Fire ca about, but it’s best not to ntion this nickna in front of him, as Harris has threatened to kill anyone who dares to call him that.”

The group was laughing so hard they were nearly doubled over, with Gao Yang literally crying with laughter.

He couldn’t imagine how bored soone would have to be to test if farts were flammable while being surrounded, and even more unimaginable was how strong soone’s will to live must be to not just take a gun to their head after their anus had exploded.

When they finally stopped laughing, Glolov shrugged, “Alright, let’s not joke about soone else’s trauma anymore.

To get serious for a mont, Toad, you’ve got to be careful with Harris.

The guy is an expert boxer; he can knock out a zebra with one punch, so don’t underestimate him.”

Lee Jinfang nodded, “Don’t worry, I never take an opponent lightly in a fight, not until they’re dead.”

“We are going to fight alongside Harris’s Black Fire rcenary Corps; so, do you know how strong Black Fire or Harris is right now?”

Gao Yang was more concerned with Harris’s strength, and Glolov, as if rembering sothing, spaced out for a mont before muttering, “Harris may have done so stupid things, but he really is formidable.

He’s most renowned for his use of the rocket launcher.

Naturally, his marksmanship is top-notch too, and he can hit different targets with two handguns at the sa ti.

As for the Black Fire rcenary Corps, I believe as long as Harris is there, Black Fire will certainly be formidable; he has never tolerated the incompetent in his team.”
