Chapter 1215: Chapter One Thousand One Hundred Ninety-Eight: There are Benefits
It was getting late, yet during the demonstration shooting, Gao Yang said to the president, “I have already delayed everyone’s ti significantly, now it’s ti for the official competition, shall we proceed with the main event?”

Glock monopolized the International Practical Shooting Confederation’s original gun group. Besides Glock 17, the only other guns visibly used were CZ75 and P226. To dethrone Glock looked unrealistic for now, but expanding market share was the determined goal for everyone at SIG Company.
A person resembling a team leader stepped onto the stage and addressed Gao Yang in a deep voice, “Hello, Mr. Gao, my na is Alaine Bessey, I’m an arms dealer and a distributor of SIG products, I’m here as a contestant.”
Alaine reached out his hand, and as Gao Yang shook it, he said in a deep voice, “Nice to et you, Mr. Bessey.”
After Alaine nodded, he added solemnly, “Mr. Gao, I think you should use a SIG pistol for the sa shooting demonstration to be fair, as you are not a spokesperson for Glock. After achieving outstanding results with Glock, I believe it’s unfair to other brands. Since you have begun shooting, why not try shooting with a SIG as well?”
Gao Yang felt sowhat helpless internally. It was just for fun, yet it ended up causing trouble.
Using the Glock 17, he significantly outperford others who used Glock pistols, but also considerably surpassed the highest standards set by other brands. This made the sellers of Glock happy, but certainly not those selling other brands.
The CZ75 is a Czech brand and this brand does not organize shooting teams for the competition, at least not this ti. However, SIG has its shooting teams and also arms dealers present. Gao Yang’s performance with Glock created a star effect, so would SIG’s sales be affected? This was a crucial concern for brand distributors like Alaine.
The president shrugged and said to Gao Yang, “You can continue shooting. It’s not easy for you to co out and shoot, and we enjoy watching your shooting, so don’t worry about ti. Whether or not to use a SIG again, that’s your choice.”
Gao Yang liked SIG, and that’s why his backup gun in Arica was a P229.

Alaine’s face imdiately lit up with joy, and he exclaid loudly, “That’s fantastic, I also have new guns, please hold on a mont.”
Alaine quickly ran down from the stage and then hurried back up. He brought two gun cases and opened one of them, then said to Gao Yang, “P226, a new gun, unmodified but finely tuned.”
Alaine’s action was actually quite risky because Gao Yang might be familiar with Glock 17 but not with P226. If Gao Yang perford poorly with the P226 during the shooting, it would make it seem like the P226 was inferior to the Glock 17.
But fortunately, Gao Yang was very familiar with the P226, as Cui Bo’s was also a P226, and Cui Bo was the person Gao Yang most frequently swapped guns with, possibly making Gao Yang’s familiarity with the P226 second only to the 1911.
Gao Yang picked up the gun and smiled, “Alright, no problem, I’ll use this one.”
The referee inspected the gun, and after the inspection, Gao Yang began shooting again.
The P226 is more expensive than the Glock and has a full tal body, which makes it significantly heavier than the Glock 17. This makes the P226 a bit too heavy for everyday carry, hence the Glock 17 is more popular in the civilian market. However, on the battlefield, Gao Yang prefers a heavier gun for its sense of security, even though the Glock 17 is no less reliable. Being more familiar and easier to handle, Gao Yang’s performance with the P226 was naturally good. He ended up shooting a ti of 49 seconds, which was one second faster than with the Glock.
When Gao Yang finished shooting, Alaine Bessey couldn’t close his mouth from smiling, and after taking back the gun from Gao Yang and putting it back in the gun case, he opened another case and took out a 1911 style handgun, laughing, “One P226, one GSR1911, these are gifts for you. Gao Yang took the handguns and after looking at them, smiled at Alaine Bessey, “Thank you very much for your gifts, I really like them. I won’t hesitate to accept them.”
Amidst Alaine Bessey’s laughter, Gao Yang put the guns back in the gun case, and addressed the president and others, “I’m sorry, but I think it’s ti for to leave, my friends are waiting for . I hope we’ll have another opportunity to have fun together.”
The president laughed, “Next ti, don’t just do a demonstration, participate in the competition!”
Alaine Bessey handed Gao Yang a business card, smiling, “Mr. Gao, please call when you have ti and co over to visit.”
After storing the business card, with one gun case in each hand, Gao Yang stepped down from the stage. Yelena hugged him tightly, excitedly saying, “Dear, you were amazing!”

After kissing Yelena on the face, Gao Yang handed the gun cases to Cui Bo to carry, waved to the surrounding crowd, expressed his thanks, and finally left the shooting range.
Cui Bo carried a gun case in each hand, and Li Jinfang also held a Glock gun case.
