Chapter 1222: Chapter 1205: Recruiting Hatred

The so-called high-end travel customization company exists to fulfill any request the custor makes, as long as it can be done.

Even if Gao Yang wants to go to space, Octavia can arrange a trip to Russia for a space expedition. As long as money can solve the problem, and money isn’t an issue, then nothing else is a problem either.

Yelena brought Gao Yang back to the hotel once again, but this ti, when they arrived, a Ducati motorcycle was parked behind Octavia.

After seeing Yelena stop her motorcycle, Octavia stepped forward, took the helts from Gao Yang and Yelena, tilted her head slightly, then soone got out of a nearby vehicle carrying two large garnt bags along with two black professional racing helts.

Octavia took the two bags of clothes, bowed slightly toward Gao Yang, and smiled, “Mr. Gao, as per your request, the Ducati has been delivered. Additionally, I’ve purchased motorcycle gear and racing helts suited for both your sizes, since you and Miss Yelena will be undertaking a long-distance ride. For added comfort, I took the liberty of selecting the Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak racing edition for you.”

Gao Yang nodded, smiled, and said, “Thank you.”

Yelena, however, walked over to the motorcycle, grabbed the handlebars, and, with a look of pure fascination, exclaid, “The classic Ducati racing Marchesini three-spoke wheels, Termignoni exhaust—classic, absolutely amazing! Though it’s an all-terrain bike, I absolutely adore it!”

Octavia pursed her lips and suddenly said, “There’s only one concern, Mr. Gao—do you and Miss Yelena have experience with handling large-displacent motorcycles? For safety’s sake, I must remind you that such bikes are very difficult to manage.”

Gao Yang shrugged, while Yelena, without even looking up, said, “Thank you for the kind reminder, but I’m perfectly fine. Darling, let’s go change into our gear!”

Gao Yang smiled at Octavia, took the garnt bag from her hands, but just then, the butler who had stepped out of the car behind him ca over to assist by carrying the clothing bags for him.

Gao Yang walked over, pulled the visibly overexcited Yelena, and headed straight to the room.

Watching Yelena in her leather suit, flipping her hair effortlessly and then tying it into a ponytail with a hair tie, Gao Yang couldn’t help but exclaim, “You look stunning!”

Yelena had always had an air of sophistication about her, influenced by her musical background. Normally, her elegance and quiet charm were her defining traits. But now, in her leather motorcycle suit, she radiated a wild beauty and an exuberant energy from head to toe.

Yelena approached Gao Yang, leaned in to kiss him on the lips, fastened the clasp on his collar for him, smiled sweetly, and said, “Thank you.”

For various reasons, ever since Yelena arrived in New York, she had seed sowhat subdued. Although her living conditions had vastly improved, Gao Yang always felt that Yelena wasn’t as cheerful as when she was back in South Africa. However, ever since coming to Europe, Yelena seed far more lively and cheerful.

Sitting in the back seat, Gao Yang wrapped his arms around Yelena’s slender waist, tilting his head to press close against her back. Unsurprisingly, they attracted a lot of attention.

Gao Yang felt a little helpless, but since Yelena enjoyed it, he wasn’t about to say anything. He simply pretended not to notice the strange looks from passersby. Fortunately, his head was completely hidden inside his helt, saving him from feeling any real embarrassnt.

But Gao Yang soon realized that, in fact, the stares from passersby weren’t disdainful—they were envious. Especially the n. Whenever they saw a glamorous woman riding a motorcycle and speeding by, their complex expressions targeted Gao Yang weren’t filled with contempt; rather, envy, jealousy, and bitter longing seed to dominate.

“Yes! Aweso! I love Ducati, Gao, and I love you!”

Yelena shouted excitedly inside her helt. Thanks to the wireless intercom within their helts, her conversation with Gao Yang remained completely uninterrupted.

“You like it? Alright, if you truly love it, we’ll buy this bike. You can bring it back to New York, but you can’t ride it alone—you’ll only ride it if I’m there with you!”

“Gao!”

“What’s up?”

“Let give you a baby!”

Gao Yang swallowed hard and shouted, “You’re still too young!”

Yelena didn’t respond. Just then, Gao Yang’s helt intercom suddenly buzzed with the voice of his bodyguard.

“Mr. Gao! You’re riding too fast! We can’t keep up—please slow down, will you?”

Yelena was startled. She shouted, “They can hear us talking?”

Gao Yang replied helplessly, “Yes, our intercoms are connected with theirs. There’s no other option; they can hear everything we say.”

Yelena didn’t respond verbally, but suddenly accelerated.

Already nearing the edge of Ro, Yelena’s sudden burst of speed made the motorcycle instantly surge past 120 kiloters per hour.

Yelena weaved back and forth through traffic. No matter how hard the bodyguards pushed their small car, it was impossible to keep up—not even if the road was entirely open ahead.

Watching the cars quickly left behind, Gao Yang felt a pang of anxiety. He wanted to tell Yelena to slow down imdiately, but when he opened his mouth, the words he uttered were entirely different.

“Don’t bother following us. Turn off your intercoms and wait for us back at the hotel.”

“Understood, Mr. Gao. We’ll wait for you at the hotel. Please be careful and call us if anything happens. Intercom off, over.”

Walking through gunfire on the battlefield and weaving through traffic are entirely different concepts. Gao Yang wasn’t fearless in combat, but driving recklessly on the roads was an entirely different beast.

Truth be told, Gao Yang was truly quite scared. However, he was resolved to stick by Yelena’s wild side—to share her madness, even if it was terrifying.

Yelena sped out of the city and onto a highway leading toward Pescalin. As she just hit the highway, a police car suddenly flicked on its lights and began chasing from behind.

Yelena said softly, “Darling, I believe we might have been speeding.”

Gao Yang took a long glance back at the police car and asked, “How fast are we going?”

“140 kiloters per hour.”

Gao Yang exhaled in amazent at the speed and asked grimly, “Are you sure motorcycles are allowed on the highways in Italy?”

“They’re allowed in Arica, but I don’t know about Italy.”

Gao Yang let out a sigh and shouted, “Nothing can be done, then.”

Yelena responded casually, “Indeed, darling. Hold on tight.”

Gao Yang quickly tightened his grip around Yelena’s waist.

The 1200cc, 150-horsepower engine unleashed incredible power—and Yelena wasn’t just lively at this mont. This was outright fury.

As the engine roared, Gao Yang felt another surge of power pulling him backwards. Despite already speeding at 140 kiloters per hour, the motorcycle continued its aggressive acceleration in re seconds.

The police car was quickly left far behind, its silhouette fading into the distance. Then, with an excited edge in her voice, Yelena said, “Gao! We’re going 200 kiloters per hour now!”

A motorcycle traveling 200 kiloters per hour on a highway, not a racetrack, is a dangerous gamble. Hitting even a tiny stone could send it flying—and at that speed, survival is impossible; it’s just a matter of whether there’s anything left recognizable.

With his eyes shut tightly, Gao Yang said gravely, “Got it—ditch the police car. Just focus on driving.”

Gao Yang gave in. The amount of courage required in this mont rivaled anything he’d ever needed charging through the battlefield under enemy fire.

After losing the police car, Yelena slightly reduced their speed but still maintained a pace of about 160 kiloters per hour. Rember—this was on a highway, not a racetrack.

There were no more police cars giving chase, no blockades ahead. Italian police were famously not diligent. Chasing down or setting up checkpoints on highways wasn’t sothing they did casually; it would require a major incident. And a speeding motorcycle clearly didn’t qualify.

The journey from Ro to Pescalin was a little over 200 kiloters. Normally, driving would take more than two hours. But Yelena only needed an hour and a half to reach the highway exit.

Once Yelena finally slowed down upon reaching the more complex road conditions, Gao Yang dared open his eyes—and when he saw the Pescalin road sign, he finally let out a long breath of relief.

Gao Yang felt they’d made it through, but then Yelena suddenly remarked, “Darling, there’s a police car ahead—and I think they’re trying to stop us.”

Gao Yang exhaled deeply and shouted, “Charge on.”

Two police cars were stationed at the city entrance, and an officer stood by the roadside, signaling to Yelena to pull over from a distance.

Yelena slowed down as if intending to pull over, but then abruptly accelerated again, zooming past the police cars once more.

Gao Yang glanced back and laughed loudly, “You’ve ticked off the cops—they’re furious.”

Yelena shouted, “They can’t catch us! No one can! The only problem is, I have no idea where Pescalin stadium is.”

Amid their conversation, Yelena suddenly braked hard, parking the motorcycle beside two pedestrians on the sidewalk. She flipped up her helt visor and yelled to them, “Hi! Do you know how to get to Pescalin stadium?”

Yelena spoke in English, leaving the two young n staring in stunned silence. Seeing no response, Yelena asked helplessly, “Darling, can you speak Italian?”

Gao Yang knew a bit of Italian, having learned from Rafael. Asking for simple directions wouldn’t be a problem.

Gao Yang quickly asked for directions and then shouted, “Keep going straight. I’ll let you know when to turn. Oh, hurry! The police are catching up.”

Yelena said thank you to the two pedestrians, lowered her visor, and set off at high speed once more.

Watching their backs, one young man murmured, “Wow, that chick on the motorcycle—her voice is aweso. Her eyes are incredible.”

“Totally, that chick is stunning. Dude, I hate that bastard riding with her on the motorcycle—that’s why I gave him the wrong directions!”
