Chapter 1311: Chapter One Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Four: Life is Like a Play

“Two Typhoons, guys, the Austrian Air Force is here.”

Eileen said indifferently over the intercom. Jansen sighed and helplessly said, “Finally, they’re here.”

Rafael chuckled and said in a deep voice, “No problem, the Austrian Air Force is pretty much useless. They won’t dare to open fire, especially since you’ve taken so hostages.”

Two jet fighters swooped rapidly over the helicopter, circled a large loop ahead, and ca back again like performing an aerobatic maneuver. As they passed by the helicopter again at high speed, they tilted to show the missiles mounted under their wings, indicating they weren’t joking.

Eileen asked over the intercom, “What should we do?”

Yake replied in a serious tone, “Don’t worry, just keep flying, I’ll handle it.”

After finishing, Yake, who was on another aircraft, yelled loudly in Arabic to the people at the back, “Show them the hostages!”

After shouting, Yake prodded the helicopter pilot beside him with a gun, sternly saying, “Fly straight and true, no tricks, or I’ll kill you and fly the plane myself.”

The pilot stamred nervously in German, “Sorry, the fighter pilot is requesting communication.”

The call light kept flashing, but Yake remained expressionless, “Wait a mont, I’ll talk to them, but now is not the ti.”

Cui Bo grabbed a rescue worker whose mouth was gagged and limbs were tied, dragged the hostage to the hatch door, and yanked open the door. He pushed the hostage slightly out, letting their head hang outside, then pulled out a pistol and pressed it to the hostage’s head. As the fighter jet flew past again, he waved his hand, pointing into the distance, signaling them to leave quickly.

Yake snapped his fingers and said to the pilot beside him, “Connect it, let talk to them.”

The radio was imdiately activated, and soone shouted in English, “We are the Austrian Air Force, and we have authorization to open fire and shoot down your aircraft at any ti. Follow our designated route and land imdiately, or I will shoot down your aircraft. This is a final warning, maintain radio communication, and follow our guided route until landing, or you will be shot down.”

Yake, uninterested, said in a grave tone, “I warn you, this has nothing to do with you. We only need to borrow this helicopter to leave, and if you keep tailing us, I will start killing. See the hostages? I have four hostages. If you do not leave, we will execute one hostage imdiately and continue killing one every minute. Want to fire on us? Go ahead. Now, you have one minute to respond, hurry up, I’m running out of patience.”

After speaking, Yake smiled at the anxious pilot beside him, “Don’t be afraid. Your air force won’t dare open fire or stay to monitor us, so you won’t be in any danger. I just need to leave safely and won’t kill you, so don’t worry, just fly the plane.”

The fighters didn’t make a move. When almost a minute passed, Yake solemnly said, “Ti’s up, give an answer.”

“We will leave imdiately, don’t harm the hostages. I speak on behalf of the Austrian official governnt. If you have any conditions, you can make them, but please do not harm the hostages.”

Yake responded casually, “Alright, alright, just go. We have no demands, we just want to borrow the helicopter to leave. The helicopter and hostages will be returned safely to you, as long as we land safely. Final warning, if your fighters take off, we will kill a hostage. Communication ends here, goodbye.”

Yake tossed the communicator aside, reached out to turn off the radio, and said in Arabic over the intercom, “The fighters are gone.”

Just then, Krulney woke up, looked around, and started writhing with his tied limbs, shouting, “What are you doing? Don’t do this, I didn’t betray you!”

Yake switched to a fierce tone and snarled, “Shut up!”

Krulney scread in terror, “Don’t do this, I’m here on behalf of the Iron Madonna to collect money! I’m one of you! Why tie up?”

In an angry voice, Yake shouted, “Damn it, shut him up!”

Krulney scread in horror, “Don’t kill !”

No one in the back moved, and Yake, extrely furious yet helpless, shouted in Arabic, “Shut him up!”

Krulney implored anxiously, “Aren’t you with the Iron Madonna? Your people were killed by the Iron Madonna, it has nothing to do with , you can’t kill ! I understand now, I understand! You are Prince Nayef’s people. Let speak to Prince Nayef, you can’t just kill ! Let go, I beg you, at least let speak to the Prince, please!”

Cui Bo quickly chambered a bullet with a clattering sound, pressed it to Krulney’s forehead, and made like he was about to shoot. Amid the terrified screams of the hostages lying beside Krulney, Yake angrily said, “Idiot! Don’t kill him! He’s still useful, I told you to shut him up, not to shut him up permanently!”

Cui Bo shrugged and said in Arabic, “Sorry.”

Krulney shouted, “I won’t say a word, don’t kill !”

Cui Bo struck Krulney on the head with the gun handle, making Krulney roll his eyes and pass out. Yake looked annoyed in Arabic, “If he wakes up again, you might as well die. Such a simple task yet you can’t do it! What use are you!”

After speaking furiously, Yake said in Arabic over the intercom, “Now fly close to the ground to avoid radar, land at the destination.”

After that, Yake told the pilot beside him, “Fly extrely low to the ground, just follow the aircraft in front, and don’t try anything funny. I’ve said it, you won’t have any problem, but if you get clever, that might change.”

Eileen lowered her altitude, changed course, and started flying at a minimum altitude. The helicopter piloted by a hostage followed closely behind. Both aircraft’s rescue helicopter pilots were skilled, able to fly at treetop height in mountainous terrain. If they couldn’t do this, they couldn’t operate rescue helicopters.

They flew for over twenty minutes. As the altitude decreased, a large expanse of forest and farmland appeared below, along with a wide highway and villages.

Behind a small grove not far from the highway, Eileen found a piece of flat land and landed the aircraft.

After the aircraft landed and seeing Eileen and her companions had left the aircraft, Cui Bo imdiately aid his gun at the hostage he was controlling, but with a soft click, the bullet didn’t fire.

Cui Bo muttered in Arabic, “What’s going on!”

Amid the terrified screams and writhing of several hostages, Cui Bo pulled back the slide to eject the unfired bullet, pulled the trigger again, but the gun didn’t fire, just making another soft click.
