Gao Yang exhaled in relief and spoke softly, “That’s good!”

She walked straight over to Gao Yang’s hospital bed and held Gao Yang’s hand, speaking softly, “Boss, thank goodness you’re alright.”
Gao Yang smiled and looked at Lucica’s long-unseen face and then directed his gaze to Lucica’s belly, then said sowhat weakly, “What brought you here? Did Big Bird tell you? Why would I be in trouble? I was just a bit unlucky this ti, Lucica, you should be resting at ho, not traveling so far to New York. Are you alright? Is the baby inside okay too?”
Lucica’s belly had visibly grown, she placed Gao Yang’s hand on her belly with a look of happiness and softly said, “We’re all fine.
