One person running, chased by many others, Gao Yang has been through this several tis before.

But a group of people running with him in pursuit, especially pursuing a group of experts, this was indeed Gao Yang’s first ti doing such a thing.

Bouncing and weaving through the grass, Gao Yang really did have a touch of the elusive and mysterious about him.

After shooting dead a pair of bodyguards, Gao Yang knew he had approached the line left by Djo Malthael to block him. Whether to search and wipe out this line before continuing after Djo Malthael, or leave the remaining two bodyguards tasked with the ambush to Li Jinfang and his team, was sothing Gao Yang needed to ponder.

In a flash of lightning decision, Gao Yang decided to take out the remaining two.

Li Jinfang and his team were not well adapted to the swamp environnt; in this terrain that severely weakened combat ability, it was not surprising for even the best to be taken down with a single shot.

For Gao Yang, preserving his team was more important than taking down Djo Malthael.

Moreover, Gao Yang was confident that even with the ti wasted dealing with the two, he could still catch up to Djo Malthael.

The path forward depended on the position of the grass. To locate the remaining two, Gao Yang couldn’t go straight; he had to weave through the grass, searching and engaging as he went.

Unable to pinpoint the enemy’s exact location, all he could do was search while circling back and forth.

All his senses were at their sharpest. Although his view was limited to an area just in front of him, Gao Yang’s confidence had never been stronger.

With the next landing point a bit far, Gao Yang leapt with all his might, and just as he did, a shot rang out. While airborne, he saw soone with a gun sweeping through the grass on the other side.

With both parties’ eyes eting, surprise was evident, Gao Yang swung his shotgun single-handedly and shot up under the chin of the gunman.

The person Gao Yang shot under the chin was firing into the grass where Gao Yang had montarily stopped earlier, and although his shooting direction was right, Gao Yang had already moved on.

Two people leaned against each other, searching and guarding their own fan-shaped area. If the opponent wasn’t soone as elusive as Gao Yang, this tactic would have been correct.

Indeed, even if the opponent was Gao Yang, relying on each other in such limited vision to conduct fan-shaped searching and shooting was still the right course, except this tactic made it easier for Gao Yang to continue his kills.

Shooting the enemy through the head at close range, while the other turned to aim at Gao Yang, his second shot had already landed.

Shooting at the sa ti, yet another head was blasted with nine pellets at close range.

In an ultra-close-range mutual shootout, whether with a pistol, shotgun, or any other gun, no one could surpass Gao Yang; perhaps there was soone, but Gao Yang had never encountered them, so he was always the one who survived.

Without pause, Gao Yang leapt forward again.

Upon landing, he loaded a bullet into his gun, and as he leapt again, he shouted urgently: "Enemy defense line."

Landing again, loading another bullet into his gun, Gao Yang shouted once more: "All done."

Reporting the situation, Gao Yang jumped between several nearby grasses multiple tis, confird the direction, fully loaded his shotgun, and, after notifying Li Jinfang and his team of the battlefield situation, targeted a patch of grass and leapt again.

Djo Malthael could not have run very fast, so Gao Yang began to chase in the roughly correct direction.

Encountering the enemy’s rear defense line ant Djo Malthael couldn’t be far. Gao Yang was eager to find so clue left by Djo Malthael and then pursue.

Finally, bouncing along, Gao Yang discovered a murky puddle and a few chaotic footprints.

Gao Yang felt a surge of excitent as he identified the direction of the footprints and began assessing the water’s cloudiness instead of hastily pursuing.

Over ti, murky water would clear. By assessing the degree of cloudiness, one could estimate how long ago the target had left, and from that ti fra combined with the target’s speed, deduce how far away the target was.

If it were in the African savanna swamp, a glance was enough for Gao Yang to estimate the distance to the quarry. Here, he couldn’t achieve that; he still had to connect various observed details before concluding a rough estimate.

A rough estimate was enough; it was the sa for pursuing prey as for pursuing Djo Malthael.

Gao Yang couldn’t follow the footprints directly; he still needed to advance circuitously. Thus, he completed the observation while bouncing and hopping, and then began pursuing again with the sa motion.

In a tension-filled mont, Gao Yang couldn’t help but reminisce about the people of the Akuri tribe. The Akuri tribe not only saved his life but also taught him so much.

Because of the grass’s position, Gao Yang had to take a small detour to get back on track. The main difference between this swamp and the African savanna swamp was that this swamp was permanent, while the African swamp was seasonal. The swamps Gao Yang was familiar with did not have such tall and stiff grasses, nor were the muds so deep.

The differences in the swamp forced Gao Yang to take a longer detour. When he finally found the footprints at close range again, he began thinking about how the next battle would unfold.

More than a few were escorting Djo Malthael. Regardless of the gun used, Gao Yang couldn’t take them all out at once. Moreover, he didn’t have a grenade. In the swamp, unless he could precisely locate his targets and have the grenade explode right above them, its usage would be limited.

Whichever combat thod he chose, the risks were significant. Gao Yang was confident he could identify Djo Malthael at a very close range and take a shot, but he could only fire one shot. Choosing the most direct and forceful way to take down Djo Malthael ant taking bullets himself.

Although he knew his status was far below Djo Malthael, Gao Yang did not want a mutual assured destruction scenario. He needed to think of a safer thod to deal with Djo Malthael.

After a brief reflection, Gao Yang had an idea. His speed was fast, Djo Malthael’s was slow, and Djo Malthael was definitely heading out of the swamp, so maybe he could get out of the swamp first and wait for Djo Malthael to walk right into his net.
