Gao Yang said in a low voice, “I’m at Shava’s place; I need a little more ti to get back. Is it important?”
Number Thirteen replied in a low voice, “Extrely important, co back imdiately!”
Gao Yang promptly hung up and stood up, saying to Shava, “I need to leave, get the phone ready, I’ll co back for it.”
With no ti for more words with Shava, Gao Yang and Eileen hurriedly left Shava’s hideout. While waiting for Nikolai to pick them up on the street, Eileen asked quietly, “What’s up? What did Number Thirteen find?”
Gao Yang, a mix of excitent and worry, replied quietly, “Yes, it’s an extrely important find, we need to get back and see.”

Number Thirteen nodded, “Never seen it before.”
Gao Yang tossed the bullet-like object onto the table and smiled wryly, “Surely fired from a gun, not poisoned, is it? Andre’s guard fell too strangely, hope it’s not so peculiar lethal stuff.”
Yake shook his head, “Don’t just guess blindly, this definitely isn’t sothing poisonous, take a look.”
Yake had a cracked open small object, Gao Yang took it and exclaid in surprise, “So precise, what is this?”
The bullet-like object, once broken open, revealed an extrely tiny chip, sothing resembling a button battery, and a silver tallic piece like a speaker, though it was deford now.
Yake said seriously, “This thing can emit electronic signals, but not too far, at most four or five hundred ters. We don’t know what the signal is for, and once assembled, it can’t be disassembled without breaking it.”
Number Thirteen slowly said, “We suspect this is so sort of reconnaissance or monitoring device. Fired from a gun, it starts working once shot out, but how it works and its purpose remains unknown.”
Gao Yang frowned, “Seems very advanced.”
Number Thirteen said softly, “Andre’s assassination location was sealed off properly. Entering, I found two of these in the room where Andre was ambushed, and a few more elsewhere. Essentially, they were all over the apartnt. I didn’t have ti for a detailed search and only brought a few back. There are surely more inside.”
Gao Yang picked up a bullet-like small object again and, looking at Pavlovich, asked, “You don’t recognize it either?”
Pavlovich shrugged, “Don’t look at , we never had anything like this back then.”
Gao Yang sighed, “Who should we ask then?”
Number Thirteen said softly, “I’ve already asked Murphy and sent him the pictures. I believe it won’t take long for him to get back to , just wait.” (To be continued.
