Chapter 1500: Chapter 1481: Light at the End of the Tunnel
“Any news?”
“Sorry, nothing of value.”
Shava has been busy lately, having resurfaced after lying low for a while, and he’s been expanding the White Shark Gang’s influence with even greater ferocity than before.

Calling on Yake and Number Thirteen, the three of them went to see Shava first, and then Gao Yang t with Azaro again.
This ti, getting into Azaro’s house was much less trouble. Azaro respectfully invited Shava and Gao Yang into his ho.
In just a short period, Azaro seed like a changed man, having lost about twenty or thirty pounds, looking very haggard.
After seating Shava in the living room, Azaro didn’t even dare to sit, looking at Shava with a pleading expression, “It’s so good to see you again. I’ve visited you several tis, but I couldn’t et you.”
Shava sneered, “Now you want to see ? You said the White Shark Gang was finished, that Shava was dood, because they offended Mogilevich. You said these things, publicly, many tis.”
Azaro raised his hand, slapped himself hard across the face, and, with a mournful expression, pleaded with Shava, “I was wrong; I was an idiot. Spare this ti, please. Shava pouted and then pointed at Gao Yang, saying loudly, “Don’t beg ; your fate lies in his hands. If he lets you live, you live. If he wants you dead, you die. If my brother didn’t have questions for you, you’d already be a dead man. So answer his questions properly, understand?”
“I understand, I understand!”
Nodding repeatedly, Azaro looked at Gao Yang, full of respect and trepidation, “What do you want to know?”
Gao Yang spoke in a deep voice, “Still about the guns. You stole four guns, sold two to Oleg Joseph, and two to a foreigner, then stole them back until I took them from you recently. Now, I want to know who the foreigner you sold the guns to was and whose house you stole them from.”
After speaking, Gao Yang paused, then raised his voice, “That Oleg, he went to Arica, and I’ve found his whereabouts, but Oleg is already dead. Before going to Arica, Oleg sold his guns to three people, one of whom is a foreigner, one is a Ukrainian living not far from him, a factory director or manager, and the third is a famous Ukrainian antique gun collector. Now, it seems the guns you once sold to Oleg might have been purchased by that sa foreigner you sold to, so I want to know who that foreigner is. But most importantly, whose house did you steal the guns from? Don’t say you can’t rember, think hard.”
Initially, Gao Yang hadn’t focused on the gun owner because Azaro couldn’t rember who they were, nor on the foreigner who bought guns from Azaro, since Azaro stole the guns back after selling them. Gao Yang thought pursuing the foreigner didn’t make much sense.
But now, it’s different. If Gao Yang doesn’t intervene, Shava will kill Azaro, so he must dig out all the information Azaro has.
Azaro wiped his sweat, speaking softly, “The foreigner, he’s British. I don’t know his na, but I know he’s a staff mber at the British embassy, probably a military officer. At first, I didn’t know, but I found out when I stole the guns back from him. But I don’t know his na, really.”
Not knowing the na isn’t an issue. If he’s a military officer at the embassy, you can find out by the ti. Gao Yang waved his hand and said, “Tell about the owner. Think carefully, don’t leave anything out.”
Azaro wiped his sweat again, speaking softly, “Last ti I lied to you, I didn’t tell you the truth. I did steal those guns, but the owner should be a KGB.”
“KGB!”
Gao Yang leapt to his feet, both angry and excited. Anger, because Azaro had lied to him, causing him to go in circles. Excitent, because he had never been so close to Morgan’s gun before.
“Damn it! Tell everything you know, if you can satisfy , you won’t have to die; if not, you’ll die a miserable death!”
Azaro wiped his sweat once again, speaking softly, “This ti, I’ll definitely tell the truth. I’ll tell you everything I know.” (To be continued.
