Chapter 1507: Chapter 1488: Cautious and More Cautious

“Brother Yang, I rember we have missiles, right? The Dot, we have quite a few, don’t we?”

Gao Yang hadn’t even considered using heavy weapons in France, but soone evidently did. Cui Bo looked on with eager anticipation, his eyes practically glowing.

Frowning, Gao Yang looked at Cui Bo and asked, “Are you serious, or just saying it casually?”

Cui Bo, looking embarrassed, replied, “Sorry, my apologies, I got too excited. I just heard him ntion it, and the thought of us actually having surface-to-surface missiles got a little excited, that’s all.”

Using one or many surface-to-surface missiles to bomb Djo directly? Gao Yang couldn’t manage that, and even if Grand Ivan himself ca, it wouldn’t be possible. No matter how big an arms dealer you are, you’re still just an arms dealer. Setting up surface-to-surface missiles in a major nation like one of the P5 countries and firing them off? Ridiculous.

A surface-to-surface missile isn’t sothing you can just launch with a single missile—it’s a whole system, and quite a large one at that. Even if you manage to transport the missile to France, there’s nowhere to set it up and launch it. Moreover, transporting such a massive system into France is an impossible task from the start.

Gao Yang waved his hand and said loudly, “Using heavy weapons, I an large weapon systems, is not possible. Forget about planes, tanks, cannons, or missiles. Even if we could manage it, I don’t want the French crazy madly hunt us worldwide.”

Yake sneered disdainfully and said, “Frenchies, huh. Even if they did hunt us, so what? What can the French accomplish?”

Gao Yang wouldn’t waste ti acknowledging a British person’s trash talk and continued loudly, “So, we need to think of feasible thods. Leonard, can you handle it?”

Number Thirteen is an assassin, and for this kind of task, he seed like the most suitable person. Gao Yang thought maybe Number Thirteen could possibly take out Djo on his own.

Number Thirteen remained expressionless, speaking slowly, “Don’t be fooled by movies. Assassins are human too. One person infiltrating to take down a heavily guarded big shot isn’t easy. I might be able to kill Djo, but I’d need team support, ticulous planning, and wait for the right opportunity. This could take a very short ti, or it could take very long, spanning months or even years without any chance to strike.”

Killing Djo certainly can’t be as simple as killing an ordinary person. Gao Yang scratched his head and said, “Then how about reconnaissance? Can you do that?”

Number Thirteen nodded and said, “Just reconnaissance is no problem. I think I could at least find a way to blend in and confirm whether Djo is inside.”

Gao Yang smiled and said, “Great, great, we’ve solved a big problem.”

At this point, Pavlovich spoke softly, “I’m still thinking about the weapons. How are we going to transport our weapons there?”

Gao Yang replied helplessly, “I already ntioned it, right? Just use the arms trafficking channels to ship them over.”

Pavlovich shook his head and said quietly, “There’s a problem. First, you haven’t even identified the mole yet. How do you know where the mole might appear, in which channel, or position? What if it’s not a combat personnel mole, but soone in the weapon transport channel? Think about it, as a competitor, Djo can’t possibly be unaware of Grand Ivan’s channels. If he’s spying on Ivan’s transport routes, what then? Suddenly, a batch of cutting-edge weapons is shipped to France, and if Djo finds out, what do you think will happen?”

When Pavlovich and his team took action back then, everything was extrely confidential, and they had specific people paving the way before any action was taken. But Gao Yang’s situation was different, requiring consideration of all aspects.

It was only soone like Pavlovich, who had spent half a lifeti in secret intelligence organizations, that would be this ticulous about confidentiality. Satan, in their past operations, always brought weapons directly. If they couldn’t, they would have Little Donnie find a way to deliver them to the location. So Gao Yang really hadn’t paid much attention to weapon transportation.

After listening to Pavlovich, Gao Yang slapped his thigh and said, frustrated, “You’re right, we can’t use Grand Ivan’s channels now.”

Pavlovich spread his hands and asked, “What do we do then?”

Gao Yang waved his hand and said, “Don’t worry, we have our transport channels that are absolutely secure. However, using our own channels to ship weapons will take a bit more ti.”

Pavlovich replied sternly, “Slow is okay, but we can’t make mistakes. So mistakes can’t be undone.”

Gao Yang nodded and whispered to Glolov, “Have Little Donnie rush over as fast as possible.”

Sourcing weapons is Little Donnie’s job. He’s been in Ukraine for quite so ti and is a professional at this kind of work, being a rcenary broker and all.

After quietly speaking with Glolov, Gao Yang shouted, “If we change channels, it’ll take at least twenty-four hours for our weapons to arrive, perhaps forty-eight or even longer.”

Pavlovich waved his hand and said, “We’re planning a decapitation strike, and given our current preparations, it’s impossible to act right after getting off the plane. We need ti for reconnaissance and deploynt. It’d be quite remarkable if your people could infiltrate to scout out the situation before our weapons arrive.”

Pavlovich made a good point; arriving in Nice doesn’t an they can imdiately strike. They first need to know if Djo is in his villa, and second, they need a rough understanding of the villa’s guard forces and terrain. Charging in without knowing anything wouldn’t be a decapitation strike; it would be a suicide mission.

With the outlook of the operation still unclear, Gao Yang felt a bit restless. He checked his watch and said, resignation in his voice, “The plane leaves in an hour and a half, so we need to head to the airport. Dragon Knight, you stay behind to guard the equipnt until you et with Little Donnie, then take the weapons to Nice together.”

In Nice, Andy He was the only one there who had no imdiate role to play, which was why Gao Yang left him to look after their equipnt.

After that, Gao Yang called out loudly, “Let’s head out first, and we can continue discussing this on the plane.”

With the plane taking off and landing, Satan and the Black Demon’s Allied Forces hadn’t co up with any action details, transferring planes from Budapest to Cannes, still without progress.

Arriving in France and moving toward Nice, Satan and the Black Demon couldn’t move as a collective unit. Nobody knew how many inforrs Djo had in Nice. The appearance of over twenty suspicious individuals might still be detected by Djo. Even though it sounds sowhat far-fetched, being cautious is never a mistake.

And so, Gao Yang and his team scattered completely, with over twenty people all moving independently, booking hotels all over the place. In short, to deal with Djo, they had to be cautious and more cautious. (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, please visit Qidian (qidian) to cast your votes and monthly tickets.
