Chapter 1522: Chapter 1503: Making Trouble Out of Nothing

After having lost his gun once, Gao Yang no longer dared to casually hand his gun over to anyone for transport.

After personally ensuring all their guns were loaded onto the plane, Gao Yang found Pavlovich and whispered, “You guys head back to Kiev with our guns as well. Don’t do anything for the next few days. Just notify if anything major happens.”

Gao Yang’s plane could accommodate a maximum of twenty people, but after transporting a large amount of weaponry and equipnt, there wasn’t enough space for twenty people. It was overweight, so Gao Yang let the twelve mbers of the Black Demon return to Kiev first.

As for Satan’s n, Gao Yang planned to take them to the United Kingdom.

Actually, there wasn’t anything major in going to the U.K.; it was just to gather so information. But since Kiev was currently in the eye of the storm, Gao Yang didn’t dare split Satan’s n, letting so go to Kiev first. It was better to just go to the U.K. together.

Paris to London wasn’t really that far, and there were many transportation options to choose from. But since they were already at the airport, Gao Yang and his team decided to fly. It was just that they’d have to wait a few hours for their flight.

Recently, there hadn’t been any particularly intense battles or extrely dangerous situations, but the pressure was imnse. Everyone was under a lot of pressure. It wouldn’t matter if they were fighting, but the tis when the arrows were on the string but not yet fired were the most nerve-wracking.

The situation in Kiev was far from clear, so the ti in the U.K. wouldn’t be long. In these few days, it was also a rare chance to rest outside the eye of the storm.

The reason why Gao Yang wanted to find ti to go to the U.K. during such a tense mont was, of course, to find Morgan’s gun.

Gao Yang had always been concerned about helping Morgan find the gun, but the gun Morgan was looking for was never sothing particularly urgent. At least compared to Satan’s overarching life-and-death situation, it wasn’t important. However, now, Gao Yang intended to quickly find that gun just so he could borrow Morgan’s influence with a clear conscience, enabling Satan to fly around the world with guns.

Logically, Gao Yang had already provided Morgan with significant benefits, helped him a lot, and even gifted him with several rare guns. Since he entrusted the lives of his family to Morgan, it wasn’t much to borrow Morgan’s connections occasionally.

For Gao Yang, though, he had already entrusted the aftermath of Satan’s entire team to Morgan, and Morgan had agreed without hesitation. He couldn’t use up the goodwill he had accumulated with Morgan rashly.

Morgan simply said one light sentence, agreeing to protect all of Satan’s family mbers. But the cost of that promise was far beyond the sentint that could be repaid by a diamond mine or a few rare antique guns, because as soon as Morgan agreed, he had to be prepared for a fallout with Djo, and even prepared for direct confrontation.

Having two top figures from different industries fall out over a group of rcenaries was almost impossible, and having them start a war over the family of a group of rcenaries was even less feasible. Cannon fodder was just cannon fodder; no big shot cared about the life or death of a cannon fodder, let alone their family.

But Morgan agreed without hesitation and even took action, which was a favor Gao Yang had to rember and repay when he had the chance. If Satan truly were to be wiped out, they really could only rely on Morgan. Morgan would not only protect Yelena and the others’ lives but also ensure they had a bright future.

Without Morgan’s backup, Gao Yang really couldn’t afford to die; he couldn’t bear the thought of what would happen when Djo discovered Satan’s identity, let alone imagine the consequences of Satan’s identity being exposed and then annihilated. But with Morgan around, the mbers of Satan could at least face death with more peace of mind.

Because Morgan’s promise was so valuable, Gao Yang felt it would be embarrassing to trouble Morgan with every little thing. No matter how good the relationship, constantly drawing on favors would wear it thin. Currently, the only leverage he had to make Morgan willingly, even gratefully, handle all things big and small for Satan was that gun.

Gao Yang wanted to find that gun quickly, so he couldn’t miss any lead. Now that he was in Paris, so close to the U.K., taking a bit of ti to check out the leads there was a simple task.

The night was still dark, and there were more than four hours before the flight. Gao Yang, with nothing to do, wanted to catch so sleep. But finally having a mont of peace without having to worry about Djo’s threat, he found his thoughts inevitably turning to Yelena.

A couple in love, having not seen each other for a long ti, is bound to miss each other dearly. When in Kiev, Gao Yang was worked to the bone and under trendous pressure, with no ti to call Yelena.

He checked the ti; it was evening over where Yelena was, but not too late. Gao Yang decided to pull out his phone, adjusted his emotions, and dialed Yelena.

When Yelena answered the phone, Gao Yang smiled and said, “Baby, do you miss ?”

Yelena excitedly exclaid, “I miss you, so much!”

Gao Yang didn’t know how to respond for a mont. After a brief pause of silence, Yelena quietly asked, “Honey, are you okay over there?”

Gao Yang laughed and replied, “I’m doing great. It’s just that I’ve been so busy with work lately that I haven’t had ti to call you. Right now, I’m in Paris, and I’ll be in London in a few hours. Ugh, flying everywhere every day, it’s exhausting.”

Yelena was smart, but she preferred to let Gao Yang believe she was a bit foolish, to make him think he could fool her with silly lies.

Yelena knew what kind of environnt her boyfriend was facing, but there was nothing she could do. So she pretended to believe that Gao Yang and her father were truly safe, always. She knew that exposing her boyfriend’s lies would only increase his stress and irritations, with no benefits whatsoever.

But this ti, Yelena couldn’t resist being smart.

“Honey, is the situation you’re in this ti, this ti, this ti especially dangerous?”

Gao Yang cleared his throat gently and laughed, “Why do you say that? If it were really dangerous, I wouldn’t be going to London.”

Yelena quietly replied, “Because Morgan has sent a few bodyguards around . Besides the two female bodyguards who take to and from school every day, there are at least six others secretly following . If it wasn’t dangerous, he wouldn’t have sent people to protect , let alone this many.”

Gao Yang sighed, arranged his words carefully, and thought that it might be better if Yelena was more alert too. So, he lightly laughed and said, “Sorry, compared to before, we’re indeed in a little more danger this ti, but it’s really not particularly dangerous. I just think it’s better to enhance your protection before we retire. You know, I really don’t want to put you in danger, but right now, I’m sorry…”

Yelena quietly said, “Honey, don’t apologize, or I’ll really get upset. I want to be with you, no matter what we’re doing. You kill, I’ll set the fire, but I know you won’t agree, so I can only wait for you here. You just need to handle things on hand, don’t worry about , okay? If my presence distracts you, if it makes you worried, then I’d really feel bad. You should understand, I’m really not that fragile girl, really not.”

This was Yelena, the fiancée of a rcenary, who Gao Yang smiled and quietly said, “Okay, I won’t worry too much about you because I know soone will ensure your safety.”

Yelena giggled softly, “I know you’re definitely in danger now, otherwise Morgan wouldn’t have sent so many people to protect , wouldn’t constantly call to ask if I’ve encountered anything special, anything strange. Honey, tell where you are, I just want to know where you are. You’re my man, I trust your abilities, and I believe nothing will happen to you. So, you’d better tell the truth, it’ll make feel more at ease.”

Gao Yang lightly chuckled, “I am really in Paris, at Charles de Gaulle Airport, and I’m about to head to London.”

Yelena said in surprise, “Really? I really thought you were lying to . Hmm, honey, if you’re really going to London soon, maybe you could do sothing for your friend.”

Gao Yang curiously asked, “What is it?”

Yelena excitedly and angrily said, “Go teach a jerk a lesson for Adele!”

Gao Yang exclaid, “Sothing like that happened?”

Yelena, both serious and amused, said, “You’re a nice guy, honey, but you’re a rcenary. I know you like solving problems with your fists, right? So do I, actually, but you’re far away and can’t help Adele. Just yesterday afternoon, Adele called and said she was harassed by her boss, a famous BBC host.”

Gao Yang exclaid in surprise, “Did that really happen?”

Yelena replied, “Yes, she told she wasn’t very angry, but she wanted to know how a normal person would solve such a problem. Catherine suggested she sue imdiately, and I think she should give her boss a good beating.”

Gao Yang imdiately said, “Got it, I’ll teach Adele how a normal person deals with this kind of problem.”

Yelena giggled lightly, “A rcenary is also normal, right? I know you’re in danger right now, or else Morgan wouldn’t have sent so many people to protect , wouldn’t often call to ask if I’m encountering any special or strange situations. Honey, tell where you are, I just want to know where you are. You’re my man, I trust your abilities, and I believe you won’t get into trouble. So, it’s better if you tell the truth. I’ll feel more at ease that way.”

Gao Yang laughed, “Who says rcenaries aren’t normal? Even if I’m a nice guy, I’m still a rcenary, and damn it, I might not be nice, but I’ll definitely show Adele what true fist law is.”

Yelena laughed too, “I wish I were there to punch that jerk myself. You taught that skill, but I’ve never had a chance to use it.”

Gao Yang thought for a mont and then exclaid loudly, “Then co on, let’s et in London. Grab a ticket now; it won’t take you more than three to delay your ti. Take a leave.”
