Now reading: Chapter 153 - 153 One Hundred and Fifty-Two Training from Mercenary’s War, a Action novel by Just Like Water.

153: Chapter One Hundred and Fifty-Two: Training 153: Chapter One Hundred and Fifty-Two: Training Gao Yang was sowhat baffled and curiously said, “I rember you ntioning that, but what does it have to do with a gift?”

Simon shrugged and said, “Morgan is very grateful to you, but he didn’t know how to express his gratitude.

And you once said that you really hoped to receive systematic and professional training.

When Morgan and I were discussing it, I suggested that perhaps we could arrange for you guys to get the best training.”

Gao Yang imdiately nodded again and again, saying, “Yes, I did say that, can you really arrange it?”

Morgan said with a wide grin, “There are many private training facilities in Arica that provide military training to anyone willing to pay.

Among them, the most famous and professional is the training camp founded by Blackwater Company.

You should know they have the best private light weapons and tactical training.

They even provide training for the Navy Special Forces.”

Gao Yang said excitedly, “Do you an we’re going to undergo military training at Blackwater’s training facility?”

Morgan shrugged with a look of regret and said, “Unfortunately, that’s not the case, because Simon thinks he has a better arrangent.”

Simon said with a serious face, “Blackwater is not the best choice for several reasons.

First, Blackwater claims to be open to all, but the best training is definitely not intended for civilians, and the law doesn’t allow them to do so.

The second reason is that Blackwater requires every trainee to provide detailed personal information, mainly a clean record from the police.

Given your current identities and occupations, even if Morgan could help you get a private training opportunity, you still wouldn’t be able to receive the best possible training.

The third and most important reason, I think the training provided by Blackwater is too amateurish.

Almost all of their instructors co from the Marines, and the Marines is not the best military force; hence, they cannot provide the world’s best training.

I have a better option, so I suggested to Morgan to switch to another location, and he agreed.”

Morgan said huffily, “Hey, I’m right here, you know.

When you convinced to switch places, you never ntioned that last part to .”

Simon shrugged and said, “Sorry boss, my doctrine demands I can’t lie, but there’s no rule against withholding things I don’t want to say.”

“The Marines are the best military force in the world, Simon, you better apologize to us right now.”

“The Army guys are wimps, the Navy is nothing but a transport service, and as for those pansies in the Air Force, they can all drop dead.

How could they compare with the Marines?

Simon, you’re talking nonsense.”

“Simon, what you’re saying is crap.

I admit the stuff those guys at Blackwater teach is amateurish, but Blackwater isn’t all from the Marines anymore.

It got ssed up by those guys from the Army and Air Force.”

After hearing Simon’s words, everyone in full gear sitting in their seats beca incensed and burst out shouting, while the lively black guy stood up, gesticulating fiercely, and exclaid, “Boss, boss, this guy is bad-mouthing the Marines in front of you, are you just going to let it slide?

Dock his pay, you must dock his pay, damn Simon, don’t you know everyone here is from the Marines?

Most importantly, don’t you know the boss is also from the Marines?

Even if he just tinkered with electronics, he’s still Marines, boss, dock his pay!”

Simon shrugged and said, “You guys got it wrong again.

I said the Marines isn’t the best force, but I wasn’t comparing them to other branches of the U.S.

military.

Out of respect for you, I admit the Marines is the best force in the U.S., but I don’t agree that the U.S.

Marines is the best in the world.

The best military force in the world should be the one I served in.”

The black man blustered, “Enough already, just say which force you were with, and we’ll concede that yours is the best.”

Simon shrugged again and said, “You guys already know, I have non-disclosure commitnts, so I can’t tell you the na of my unit, but the unit I served in really is the best in the world.”

Li Jinfang couldn’t help joining the fray, loudly saying, “Sorry everyone, I think if we’re talking just about the Army, ah no, just about forces that fight on land, the unit I served in is the best in the world, but…”

After pausing for a mont, Li Jinfang eventually sighed helplessly and said, “But I also can’t tell you which unit it was that I served in.”

The crowd imdiately started to mock Li Jinfang, not forgetting to ridicule Simon as well.

All sides debated fiercely on behalf of their forr units, insisting on which was the best in the world.

However, Li Jinfang and Simon fought their own battles and were vastly outnumbered, thus the situation was overwhelmingly one-sided.

Moreover, both n were adamant about not revealing which units they served in, leaving Gao Yang and Cui Bo wanting to speak up for Li Jinfang but not knowing how, as they couldn’t just say all the others were talking nonsense and that a certain unit was the best in the world.

Morgan finally couldn’t take it anymore and bellowed, “Shut up, all of you.

You’re all adults, can you stop being so childish?

It’s like saying your own mom is the best mom in the world.

What is there to argue about?

Alright, Simon, go on with your plan.”

The black man murmured discontentedly, “Just give it up boss, my mom is the worst mom in the world, otherwise why would I have been forced to beco a soldier?”

Simon cleared his throat and continued to Gao Yang, “Considering the reasons I ntioned earlier, I recomnd you go sowhere else, where retired soldiers from the best army in the world will provide you with the best training.

This is the gift that the boss and I are giving you.

The boss will cover all the costs and figure out a way to get you there, while my responsibility is to find the best place for you.”

Seeing that Simon’s words were about to spark a new round of cursing, Gao Yang hurriedly spoke up, “Sounds great, we will go there for training.”

After pondering for a mont, Simon finally said, “Sorry, classified.”

Gao Yang covered his face in exasperation and loudly said, “Oh, co on man, you’ve made it so obvious, anyone could guess it, couldn’t you just tell specifically where we’re going?”

Simon said sternly, “That’s for you to guess, but I will absolutely not say it myself.

I need to keep it secret, at least until you arrive at the location.

And I believe you will never guess where I’m sending you, of course, I an the specific place.”
