Chapter 1581: Chapter 1560: The Broken Blade Restored

Gao Yang smoothly reached a previous hideout used by Satan, which has now turned into a bustling ergency dical center.

The place where Andy He is located must have gathered the people with the most severe injuries, transferring them from the battlefield to the hideout for continued treatnt. Among the doctors brought in, so with matching expertise were also led to this location.

When Gao Yang saw Andy He, Andy had already stopped performing surgeries. He was energetically moving among the injured housed in different rooms. The current focus was on addressing various subsequent symptoms appearing in the injured. As for surgeries, all that could be done had been done, with only a Ukrainian neurosurgery expert still operating on Jansen’s head.

Andy He should have been extrely exhausted. He had been shot in the leg and worked all night, standing on his injured leg to finish surgeries. The only explanation for his energetic state was the use of stimulants.

After eting Gao Yang, Andy He energetically pulled him into an empty room, closed the door, and then whispered, “I can handle everyone’s injuries, except for Big Bird. I’m not confident about craniotomies, and the most critical issue is that our sanitary conditions are inadequate. Currently, the biggest challenge is preventing infections in the incisions made under such crude conditions.”

Gao Yang nodded and said in a low voice, “How’s everyone doing?”

Andy He shook his head and replied softly, “Not optimistic. Rabbit’s left leg artery was severed. I stopped the bleeding and temporarily reconnected the blood vessels, but that was just an ergency asure to save his life and avoid amputation. I still need to perform another surgery to properly reconnect the blood vessels. He’ll definitely have many scars on his face, but thanks to the goggles, his eyes are fine. His nasal bone was crushed, and there is a wound on his throat, but these are minor issues.

Then there’s Skunk. His life-threatening injury is on the neck. A bullet nearly severed his cervical vertebrae, but fortunately, only his carotid artery was severed. I managed to stop the bleeding in ti, so he should survive. But whether he will end up in a vegetative state due to cerebral hypoxia is unknown. I’ve done everything possible; now we can only wait to see if he wakes up.

As for Jansen, his situation is uncertain. He may have aftereffects in the future. The severe issue is intracranial infection, which could be fatal. Less severe consequences include epilepsy or loss of certain bodily functions, like hand tremors. He might experience mory loss or lose his language ability. There are too many uncertainties with brain injuries, and I can’t be sure about his case.

Regarding the others, their injuries are perhaps severe, but they don’t seem life-threatening at the mont. And the possibility of disability is not high either.”

After finishing, Andy He exhaled deeply and gave Gao Yang a bitter smile, saying, “Boss, you know, I’m really scared right now, but also really grateful. I’m so grateful you brought Albert into Satan. Without him, at least half of our people would have died. I can’t imagine what our situation would be like without him. You have to understand how difficult it was for Albert to hand them over to alive.”

Gao Yang nodded and said softly, “How are Pavlovich and Polovich?”

Andy He shrugged and gave a bitter smile, “Pavlovich, hey, if he had worn a bulletproof vest, it would at most be a minor injury. If it were the sa heavy bulletproof gear as ours, he wouldn’t be injured at all. He was shot three tis, twice in the chest and once in the abdon. His condition is very serious. I’ve done my best, but I can’t guarantee he’ll survive.

Polovich, his bodyguard saved his life. He was only shot once, with a bullet less than a centiter from his heart. He had several instances of cardiac arrest, but now his condition has sowhat stabilized. Similar to Pavlovich, his survival depends on his will to live and physical fitness. Although Pavlovich is older than Polovich, and his injuries are more severe, Pavlovich’s physical condition is much better. If I had to guess, perhaps Pavlovich has a better chance of surviving.”

Gao Yang nodded and spoke in a low voice, “What should we do next, stay here or go sowhere else?”

Andy He responded sternly, “Big Bird must not have an intracranial infection; that would be the end. He needs to be transferred, to the best hospital. Either the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Arica or Harvard dical School’s Affiliated Hospital would do.”

Gao Yang nodded, “Got it, what about the others?”

It’s currently very difficult, extrely difficult, to leave Kiev, but Gao Yang is determined to send Jansen to the United States.

After contemplating for a mont, Andy He solemnly said, “I can handle the injuries of the other people, but now we need a strict sterile environnt. We need a hospital, a qualified hospital with a proper operating room.”

Gao Yang nodded, “I’ll figure sothing out. Tend to your leg wound, I have to go.”

Gao Yang didn’t even glance at Cui Bo, turning around to leave, while Andy He didn’t find it surprising at all. The two exited the room where they talked, one running off and the other hobbling back to attend to his patients with an injured leg.

It’s not that Gao Yang didn’t want to check on his brothers who had been through life and death with him, but his visit would rely be a visit. With the ti he had, it was better spent figuring out a way to find a hospital to save them.

Reaching the yard, Gao Yang called Little Donnie. As soon as Little Donnie answered, he imdiately said, “Terminate Scalpel’s status.”

Little Donnie nearly howled, shouting, “Thank God!”

Gao Yang promptly instructed, “Co to Kiev, take Big Bird and transport him to the United States, to either the Johns Hopkins Hospital or Harvard dical School’s Affiliated Hospital. I’ll figure things out on that end, but you need to get Big Bird to the United States quickly.”

“I understand, I understand, wait for to arrive in Kiev, wait for !”

Gao Yang hung up the phone and was pondering whom to contact for a sufficiently safe hospital in Kiev when his phone rang again.

The number was unfamiliar, but once Gao Yang answered the call, it was Taylor’s voice.

Taylor sounded dejected, “Yake has already woken up. He said the Scalpel incident occurred, Little Donnie inford him, but didn’t tell .”

Gao Yang responded imdiately, “It was Scalpel. We encountered Butter Knife and completely annihilated them. Besides and Fat Cat, everyone is seriously injured, but no one died. Now I have to ensure no one dies in the aftermath either.”

Taylor sighed heavily and said solemnly, “I can’t betray my country, but I also can’t sit by and watch you die. Boss, if you still consider a mber of Satan, I request to return to the team.”

“Request to return is approved.”

“Thank you, sir!”

“Pick up the pace.”

“Yes, Boss, Pigeon is headed ho at full speed!” (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welco to vote for it at qidian, using recomndation votes and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read at m.qidian.)
