Mercenary’s War Chapter 1698 - 1677: Miniature Joint Operation

Currently, Satan is fighting a war and preparing for another war.

The ongoing war is with Djo Malthael, a conflict originally between Djo and Grand Ivan, but now it’s a war between Djo and Satan. At this stage, neither side will relent until one is defeated.

Gao Yang has been strategizing on how to win the war against Djo, but Satan is now so battered with injuries that nearly everyone is severely hurt, making it impossible for Gao Yang and Djo’s war to continue.

While recuperating, Gao Yang constantly prepares for the inevitable upcoming war, and Jesse Lee is a crucial part of his preparations.

With Jesse Lee added to the team, there’s now an additional option when attacking Djo’s villa in Nice. Previously, Jas was the only one capable of amphibious assault, but now with Jesse, there’s another person.

Jesse didn’t let Gao Yang down. After glancing at the map, he frowned at Gao Yang and asked, "Can you tell what kind of mission this is? If it’s just two people, I don’t think we can complete a full assault. At best, we can do ard reconnaissance; attacking and occupying the entire target is unrealistic."

Gao Yang smiled and said, "This is a joint operation. Amphibious assault is just a part of it. On land, we will have the main combat units; at sea, there will be a ship providing fire support. You and the SBS operative are my only amphibious assault officers. When necessary, you will initiate appropriate actions, such as landing to distract the enemy and create opportunities for us. Activities include ard reconnaissance, and such."

Jesse sighed with relief and laughed, "That’s much better. Hmm, what’s the scale of this engagent?"

Gao Yang thought for a mont and smiled, "It’s not very large. Our most likely approach is to engage with fifteen people."

Jesse, who was previously relaxed, appeared serious again and then smiled bitterly, "I thought it would be at least one hundred and fifty people. Fifteen people seem hardly a joint operation, right?"

"No, we have an assault team forcefully entering, a sniper team providing remote cover or delivering a fatal blow to the target, mariti fire support, and amphibious assault initiated by you and the marine. Isn’t this joint combat?"

Jesse shook his head and smiled wryly, "Not really, I think it’s a joint operation only when there are planes overhead and warships at sea."

Gao Yang shrugged, "Then this is a mini joint operation."

Jesse exhaled and smiled wryly, "Alright, mini joint operation."

Gao Yang snapped his fingers and laughed, "After this battle, if all goes well, you’ll be sent to Somalia, where your primary role will be to support our upcoming war, thanks to your special skills. At the start, we’ll likely need to conduct amphibious warfare."

Jesse laughed, "What’s the scale this ti, dozens of people?"

Gao Yang shook his head and said, "No, this ti there will be more people, around three hundred initially. Later, thousands or even tens of thousands are possible, depending on our capabilities. If the plan succeeds, the scale of the battle will quickly expand."

Jesse tugged at his shirt collar and whispered, "Sounds thrilling! I like it!"

So we must succeed in prompting Saudi Arabia to pay us to solve problems. Then, if successful, we can execute the final phase of the plan."

Gao Yang paused for a mont and then whispered, "Then we’ll skip the second stage and forcefully proceed to the last step, changing our plan from waiting for Saudi Arabia’s internal chaos to actively instigating it."

Jesse was excited and thrilled, saying, "Wow, that sounds incredible. Why are you so confident? To , attacking a country seems incredible, especially as a rcenary."

So, what we need to do is take advantage of the situation and grab a juicy piece from Saudi Arabia. I’m not greedy; my aim is to be the first to rush in and take the choicest piece, that’s enough."

Jesse nodded admiringly but then said, "Yet Saudi Arabia doesn’t seem likely to fall into chaos; they’re so wealthy."

Gao Yang smiled firmly, "No, within ten years, at most, our chance will co. This is a long-term plan, not one with results visible within a year or two. But you will eventually see it."
